- We built up 2 brand new 16" BMX bikes at our bike shop and we decided to have a game of bike on them between Cory Burglar and Matty Cranmer! The rules were that everything goes and the riders came up with some very creative tricks on their new bikes!

It could be the clutch but, I also might just be the heatshield on the exhaust. On Honda's it's normal to just remove the shield after a lot of heat cycles. Reason I think this might be the case is when the RPM's get low the exhaust shakes more and the shield might have warped enough to hit the Catalytic converter or Reso or Pipe.
this. those heat shields are notorious for coming lose especially being in the north east.

I’ve had it happen personally. New bearing an fresh clutch an haven’t looked back yet!
I'm not a car mechanic or anything, but this sounds like the most likely culprit. Doesn't sound like a belt at all, and there aren't that many things on a car that can start squeeking really weird like that and not be immediately identifiable as something rubbing on something else.
Pro tip, if you pour a sack of concrete into your gear box it'll stop making that sound immediately.
I hope you had a great vacation. I like watching the videos all the time but if a rigid upload schedule burns you out I don't think any of us would be bummed when you take breaks. Some of my favorite channels don't have any real schedule at all, they just make videos when they get a good idea and upload when it suits them. Sometimes that's daily, or twice in a day, some times it'll be several days between uploads. Do what works for YOU guys. I'd rather see this thing go far in to the future than to have a few forced videos that causes you to burn out and give it up after a while.

Those 16 inch bikes look great. Nice to see you guys bringing them out, I for one would definitely like to see more 16 inch bike action but I would also love to see a race around the bike shop on the smallest kids bikes you have as a bit of a comedy video, that would be cool. You could possibly throw in a few chicanes, a couple of ramps, it could be like the kiddo bike moto.

If it was exhaust rattling it would happen regardless of gear or clutch position... I'm 98% sure its throw out bearing

@@dlmperformanceandracing right, doesn’t have the tin can sound to it, I think throwout bearing as well. Heat shield is easy diagnosis anyways so just look it over guys! Keep up the dope vids. 👍🏼

Your bearing has thrown out! 😂😂. Once you pull the trans check the shift fork also just for normal wear and tear 👍 Excedy Stage 1 clutch!

If you haven't noticed bk all day and Cory are stoner's trust me a fellow stoney knows a stoney. And I few videos back bk is at Scott's house doing a project and on his back pack straps weed leafs spray painted on them lol.
weed is the working mans drug ( not really because basically all jobs test for it nowadays) but for real it immediately fixed any long stressful day, and always wake up feeling great the next day.

@scott @matty - check the pilot or throwout bearing - it is expensive to replace you're honestly better off selling the car used ASAP than you would be replacing. Essentially your clutch is gonna blow pretty soon so play musical chairs with it so it becomes someone else's problem. or rebuild the entire transmission basically...
I love how Cory has a straight cable on his bike cause he knows that he is never going to throw a bar spin on it.

Ive got the jet fuel 3 piece snafus on my nukeproof 26" dj bike. I was like yeah, when brooklyn held up the matching bars to match the pedals.
I think Cory would be unstoppable on 18" wheels.
He's already a weight weenie. Less wheel weighs less than more wheel. Just give him some 140mm cranks and it's game over.

It's either the throw out bearing or more commonly the throw out fork needs greased up. Being it only has 81k its not likely it needs a clutch already unless Matty is launching it all the time. I'd say grease the for where the slave cylinder pushes to disengage the clutch first and if that doesn't fix it then do a clutch and throw out bearing and flywheel.

These are gonna be the new rocker bikes in the next 6 months.
If the noise goes away while he has clutch is in and come s back when he's off the clutch it's definitely the throw out bearing.
Stock Impreza had a similar sound. Turned out to be those amazingly poorly designed Subaru heat shields. Started as a squeaky type sound like we're hearing here, then turned into that unmistakable tin can rattle. Would only happen at low RPMs, like when taking off, then smooth out.
Have an uncanny amount of self tapping screws in the heat shields now. Lmao.
Def could be throw out bearing tho.

2015+ wrx do have a TOB bulletin. Although, when my TOB issue arose it was only squeaky inside the car and I don’t believe it was that loud either

That's a rock between the breakshield and the brake... Go back and forth a couple of time and hope it falls out.
Sounds like a throw out bearing. I had the same sound in my STI. Went a head and put a an ACT stage 3 clutch while I was in there.

i have recently bought a 2002 wrx bug eye and mine had the exact same problem and sound and it was the throw out bearing i just went ahead and orderd a clutch kit
Squeaking noise is likely the throwout bearing. Get that replaced and a new Exedy replacement clutch if he wants the stock feel if he hasn’t replaced the clutch yet.

It’s definitely the clutch. It’s on its way out. Same thing happened to my 2017 WX at around 80-ISH thousand miles

Time for a new bearing and new clutch.
My assumption would be the clutch throwout bearing, in that case best do a new clutch and maybe even a rear main seal at the same time. if the gearbox needs to come out then might as well chuck new "consumables" in there while you're at it.
Watch this summer the trend at the park will be everybody riding small bikes.
Throw out bearing for sure. I’ve been a mechanic for awhile and I just changed one yesterday. Change the bearing and clutch and you’ll be back in business.

Heat shield around catalytic converter. Go to local exhaust shop or come down to mine in Fl lol unless car is having issues with shifting then it’s clutch/throwout

It sounds like the throwout bearing...I would replace the clutch aswell while your at it.
