Tubewings I do believe this was around the time the Home Viewer Showcase of the Future was offered (GSN didn't show it in this episode because of time consumption). Around that time, a car would be offered in a quickie game to make room for the HV Showcase presentation.
Hi GSR! I won the showcase on "The Price is Right" show #3921D, aired December 22, 1980 (it was a Christmas show). This was really before people had VCR's, so I never was able to get a copy. Is there anyway you know of to get a copy of this show?

that's rare to see double prices played for a car back then in 1980 i mean they would do it later years around the mds special's in 2008
Dylan L Either that was the planned game, or they were originally going to play Dice Game, and the displays were malfunctioning.

Either the Dice Game was not working properly and they had to play the Double Prices Game or this was a short game to play
