After the 30-day yoga journey with CENTER, now we are all here for ALIGN. It’s good to practice yoga regularly with the wonderful community of yogis around the world. This is my 5th year with Adriene and I’m so grateful to be able to cultivate a deeper connection within myself and the meditative movements I get to share with everyone else. I’m also from CENTER! Is it just me, or are the dates and the yoga classes not lining up with the ALIGN calendar? I live in the USA so there shouldn’t be a big time difference, but I noticed that this class was released on the 5th, but it’s on the 6th on the calendar. 🤔

Oh my goodness, no sooner have I mastered the famous roll down after 30 days of Center, than I find myself unable to do it the other way round!!🤣 That roll up at the end of this session had me literally stuck on the mat 😂 I will have to practice that one another 30 days!! It's so funny because, when I'm playing horn, it's easier to go down than up too, and it becomes painfully obvious when you do the same exercise backwards. And here I got that same feeling 😂😂 "oh shit what"

I've never been a fan of core work, and I always consider to skip them and do something more fun and inspiring. But Adriene is one of the few that have me doing these sessions, and I show up for most of them. My core (and I) thank you 😉😂

Wow this one was intense even after 30 day yoga journey, but I can honestly say I’m so proud of myself to continue to show up for myself even after my initial “commitment” has completed✔️
EXHALE 🧘♀ | March 24, 2024 | We've been spoiled with an abundance of slow moving, gentle and meditative practices on the Exhale calendar, so I must admit I was a little nervous about coming into this Core + Restore. I remember it to be pretty intense in the core portion and thinking I may have gone a little "soft" with the lack of core practices in the last month. But I didn't need to worry, yes this will make you feel your core - but in an empowering way. And the work you do in the front end will make the restore portion that much sweeter! Love it! 🙏
We're to expect the unexpected but this one took me by surprise. I'm so happy strengthening my cores. Thanks very much Adriene and my yoga family. Love you all. Blessings. ❤❤❤
When I saw this was a core practice, I almost made up an excuse not to do it. But I did it anyway and loved it! There is something calming about these on the ground core poses and flows. Thanks Adriene!
Same. Earlier I thought I would do day 1 which I did not do. However, after this new sequence was posted, I went ahead with it anyhow and was not disappointed.
Me too! When Adriene said “you have chosen the right video” I took it as a sign. By the end I didn’t want for it to be finished.
I love that you do core work properly, intentionally, with good technique. Wow it was a burner but lovely to relax afterwards. Authentic Adriene as always 🥰

Exhale day 24🎉 I've done this one before and remember not getting through it, or taking more rests. Today I got through the whole practice only taking rests when Adriene said to rest, I loved it and I think for the first time enjoyed a core workout. Thank you, Adriene, for this practice, I didn't know I needed this today. 💖🧘🏼♀️🙏🏻

Here for March 2023…a little out of sync with this months calendar but still here on the mat today. Feeling very relaxed at the end of this one - surprise! I’m sore my abs will feel it tomorrow. But I’ll be on the mat then to connect again, with this community and with you Adriene. Grateful for all. 🙏🏻

I've had approximately 20 minutes for my practice this morning and I was wondering what to do when I woke up. Then Adriene released this video. How the Universe can be attuned with you is nothing short of miraculous! Obviously is the other way round ☺ but I'm always in awe when things like this happen , it gives me confidence in trusting in myself 🙏
been feeling a bit like a leaf floating in the air these past couple of weeks. i saw this video would be core work and actually got excited to ground back down in my core and myself. sending love to all you beautiful people (and pets) practicing around the world!
No work today so I waited till mid afternoon for the video and was actually able to practice this new sequence without waiting a day. That was different. I enjoyed the slower work on the core. So surprising how small movements can really turn it on. Align day 6. 855 days in a row.
Throughly enjoyed this practice..You have a special way to make yoga FUN and so beneficial. THANK YOU Adrienne from the bottom of my core❤️
Exhale Day 24. Could've sworn I'd done this one before, but no. This one kicked my butt and I'm gonna feel it tomorrow. But, I did better than I expected. It's fun seeing how my awareness of the different muscle group expands with my ability to control/activate them. Thank you Adriene!
I absolutely loved this practice. I think I worked muscles I had never worked in my life before. And I also loved the challenge for the mind. New approach to the exercises, slow but intense and strong practice. Like bringing together opposites!!! Plus definitely excersising the focus!!! 🙌
I love that when I see "Core" I no longer grimace - knowing that with Yoga with Adriene even with that as a focus the practice will be respectful and healing ❤

I love how Adriene does core workouts! 💪 They are my least favorite 😅but her instructions and encouragement help me get through it. I end up surprising myself with how much I was able to do and I don't feel as guilty when I need to take a couple breaks. 🌬 This practice is all about the quality and proper form, which makes me feel more at ease compared to other core workout videos out there where I feel anxious or rushed.
Blessed Beloved Beauties! Align Day - 6 was substituted for "Yoga For When You're Are Sick." I am chanting the suggested mantra: "My immune system works perfectly. " During the weekend, I fought a cold. 🤧 I was stretched out on the couch all weekend, receiving some much needed rest. It was sweet to find a groove with a yoga 🧘🏾♀️ practice to aid in feeling under the weather. Perhaps I will return to the practice "Core & Restore." Best wishes, everyone! Ase, Ase, Ase! 🦋❤️🦋

Messy day, pipe problems, no dishwasher, no sink in the kitchen, will have to do the dishes in the bathroom ... but ... the water works, the washing machine works, the electricity works, the heating works, and this is temporary!
My thought goes to those with worse problems constantly, or now for indeterminate time ...

I once had to attempt a shower outside in a rainstorm because the water was off. I empathize. I have also been there using the bathroom to wash things.
That was so cool, such a wonderful practice. I really needed that deep stretch in my muscles today, and that focus in my mind. I was amazed how easily, my body did these movements. I didn't have to struggle or strain to do any of the poses, where's not that long ago it would have been a serious challenge. I realise I've come a long way in my yoga journey, thank you so much Adriene for always being a long side me. For teaching me this wonderful craft, of breath, and being. You are a legend my friend, see you tomorrow. Namaste 🙏❤

ALIGN 🌟 | February 6, 2023 | I don't love core practices, but I love the strength and stability core practices bring me. My posture is so much better, my balance so much improved, all because I've shown up for the core practices on the calendar over the last three years. I'd never want to give up what I've gained from these practices so I show up, and I don't shortchange myself. I know I'll feel this one tomorrow, and every time I do, I know I just got a little bit stronger. 🙏

Dear Adrienne I have been following you and practicing with YWA community for 9yrs now. I have been healed of my back pain, core instability, knee pain, headaches, leg pains, pins and needles in calf, mental tension to say a few. Thank you. I am so grateful to the YWA team for your wonderful videos which kept me consistent with my practices. 🙏🙏
I have always found core work such a struggle and even with Adriene teaching me I still do 😂 I persevered through today's practice though and I am now feeling pretty smug because I never once gave up!! Really great core workout. After all those years of doing sit ups that were really just head/neck ups, I’m finally learning to move from my core. Especially helpful as I rebuilt these muscles after having children. Thanks Adriene ❤

I really like core work actually (even if it's hard) because I can always feel I'm working a part of my body that usually doesn't get so much movement :). Though I was still a bit freaked out when Adriene announced rounds 3 and 4 lol.

I injured my back twice last year so now I make a conscious effort to do yoga when I wake up every morning to get the creaky old bones moving, and I so appreciated starting this morning off with today's video. Very gentle on the back and spine and loved the sciatic stretching at the end. Hope everyone has a beautiful day, wherever you are 🥰

Terrific core practice! Reminded me of the Pilates classes I used to take. Am on my own now, as far as any type of exercise, and am quite grateful for Adrienne and this community! Haven’t worked out in front of a mirror as in a public class in 3 years, so I have gained a whole new internal perspective to my practice.
working out in front of a mirror only makes sense if you're a professional performer. much healthier to "find what feels good" from the inside out. cheers

I just wanted to thank you for your videos. I gained a significant amount of weight a few years back due to binge eating caused by some trauma I was experiencing. I absolutely hate working out and you are the reason why I have lost 35 pounds so far. You have helped me work out without the feeling of it being a chore. You have helped me slowly develop strength both mentally and physically. Thank you for the patience and encouragement you express in your videos. I was at a place where I was so overweight and out of shape I had such anxiety to starting this exercise journey, and I can not thank you enough for your kindness and reassurance in your videos. I was dealing with the aftermath of growing up in abusive surroundings and began to think my time on this planet was coming to an end, but you are one of the reasons why I am here today, and why I have so much more strength to deal with my inner demons. I can not thank you enough, and you might not even see this comment, but I just had to express my gratitude:)

One of my favorite things about yoga is that there are so many subtle moves that strengthen your core without feeling like you’re being tortured in the process. As someone who has always had a weak core, this is a godsend! Yoga has already done quite a bit to improve my core strength, but I’ve really wanted to be more intentional about and this was the PERFECT exercise to do it. This is the kind of routine that helps you build strength to the point that even the most rigorous stuff becomes fun. Great work as always!
WOW! I feel amazing after this practice! It was very intense but learning to control movement with the breath is really working! I am so proud to be part of this community! Adriene, just when I am feeling unsure if I can get through one more breath you continue to give all of us the true meaning of YES I CAN. As I move from CENTER to ALIGN this month I am grateful for all that you do for all of us. 🙏

BLOOM 🌸 | May 18, 2023 | What's so sweet about this core practice is that by the time we get to Savasana I've forgotten all about that core work at the start, because the restore part is equally thorough. I like visualizing the different muscles of my core and how they're interconnected as we do this work because it feels like it adds an extra layer and makes it easier to push through. 🙏

Sitting cross-legged in meditation after this practice had my body shaking. it was a great practice both during the session and after.
Forgot to comment yesterday after doing this practice! It was Day 62 in a row, March 23 Motivate Day 4, changed up the order because of future traveling. It's amazing how much I've improved between the last time I did it and now, and it's only been 3 weeks! I was so surprised, but my motivation went through the roof to know how much you can improve when you enjoy doing something :)

Exhale, March 24, 2024. Under the weather early in the day and put off my yoga practice til feeling better later on. Then began procrastinating seeing today's practice involved core work and was slightly lengthy in time for that kind of focus. I made a commitment to myself to always show up and engaged putting aside hesitancy. This core + restore has turned out to be one of my favorites. I was surprised at myself for how far along I have come since January's Flow 2024. And, at how quickly the time flew by. Felt stronger on many levels by the end.
