My research shows that used together , turmeric + ginger, poses no health risks. The only concern is how much you are taking. This also applies to most supplements. There can be some interactions with medications for blood pressure/blood clotting/blood sugar so do your own research & always consult with your physician for any supplements you plan on taking.

About 10 years ago I developed indigestion issues and heartburn that was very bothersome. I started making my own capsules. Within a week after taking my capsules my indigestion issues were GONE!. I kept taking 2 caps a day for a month and also noticed that my joint stiffness was almost gone.
I use a 3 - 1 blend. 3 parts turmeric to 1 part organic black peppercorns ( I grind them in a small coffee grinder until it is a powder form). I have a few videos on my channel on how to make the caps. So glad to see Dr. G talk turmeric.:)
    NOTE...
I now only take 1 cap every other day with water after dinner, the fats from meat help adsorb turmeric as well .

I took curcumin for a year & in the process completely tanked my iron & copper. This caused all sorts of symptoms including 12kgs weightloss (bringing me to a bmi of 17.2), palpitations, neuropathy & severe fatigue. On stopping the curcumin my weight has increased & my palpitations have resolved. The neuroptathy is still there but thankfully it has stopped getting worse. My iron is increasing nicely. Nothing else was changed, it was starting & then stopping the curcumin.

Hi Sir, I've been putting pieces of turmeric and ginger roots in my green tea and water. I was diagnosed with alpha-tallasemia at 18 years old age. I'm 60 now, and I have become anemia from time to time. In August, I have a nose bleed, and one of the doctors says stop using both ginger and turmeric. Another doctor says to decrease the amount and continue at my discretion. What's your opinion? I'm still using both, but I've decreased turmeric to a very small piece.

I don’t think he writes his own stuff… But I can’t tell I know he grabsstuff from everywhere though, everywhere and anywhere
Emphasizing what he wants, deemphasizes what he wants and thereby creates overall confusion…
Not what a doctor should be doing
    of course
he sells a bunch of stuff …books, olive oil, supplements, you name it ,the guy is walking talking selling machine.
I don’t want to say a con artist but
definitely pretty oily and is receiving and will receive plenty of blowback
For this. There are plenty of more credible doctors out there that aren’t peddling olive oil lol.

Agreed. However, Innovix Labs produces a time-released Turmeric Curcumin which includes BioPerine (pepper). They claim their particular form is 3 times more bioavailable than other forms of Curcumin. I have no affiliation to them. Just wanted you to know what's out there.

@@jeanpaultongeren125 I think they are claiming that their proprietary formulation is 185 times more bioavailable than a mix of Turmeric and Black Pepper. They also claim it's more potent than BioPerine, but who would take BioPerine by itself??? Who knows whether it's better than the Innovix Labs product. I do like the fact that they are soft gel capsules.

WRONG again Gundry. Raw turmeric is far better than the powders - and there is no need to add pepper to raw for absorption.
