    When I would do a front handspring I would land in a crouched position and now I know why so thank you for the tutorial

      Probably because arms are too wide and not enough push from the shoulders

    Omg this was soo helpful, I’ve watched a million tutorials and they all tell u how to do it, but they never tell what you might be doing wrong, especially stretching, because I haven’t been, and I real,y should be. Thanks so much!

    Good tips mate. I like how you emphasize on the importance of developing good lumbar and shoulder mobility/flexibility. I can already do most of it myself but feels a bit tight in those areas and will definitely include back bridges in my routine. Cheers

      Katie McDonnell and Luci Romberg are amazing female athletes, and there's no such thing as the wrong body type. That's ridiculous. You just have to adapt to your own body and learn how it works with practice. I think you should try it.

    I know this video is a little old, but I have a question to do with the landing. I can do a Front Handspring, but I never land as close to a standing position as you do. I land with my legs quite bent and leaning very far back and have to use momentum to get into the basic upright position. So my question is, do I need to just improve my flexibility as you mention with things like the back bridge, do I need to strengthen my shoulders so I get more push, or do you think there may be something else I am doing wrong?

    • @aminahammad4120
      @aminahammad4120 8 лет назад +1

      Tyler Egan hey buddy, you have the choice, you can either work on flexibility and push a bit with ur shoulders, or strenghten ur shoulders (do handstand pushups drills) and you wont need to arch your back that much, hope it helps

    I love you bro, I watched your video yesterday and was able to do it today. I am so happy can't explain in words
    P.S. I had tried it many times but was not able to land, My mistake was i was placing my hands just after my legs, because i used to do that for my hand stand.

    I'm going to try this tomorrow, I practice this so much at school, I can do a one handed handspring but not a two handed one. I always landed on my feet and my backside at the same time. I think the problem I had was aiming my head downwards and my hands being too far apart.

    • @cvetrlingeorgiev6921
      @cvetrlingeorgiev6921 9 лет назад

      yeah i knkow the way of getting over the fear of many things. You need a good friend or someone you trust. Tell them to crouch and lean forward so that their back is facing up. It has to be at the level of ur butt. Then simply stand in front of ur friend and lean back on them. done :D

    how do you get over feeling inadequate? the other day i had a nightmare that everyone i knew was doing parkour around me and i couldn't do anything. i feel like that stemmed from my lack of ability.
