There's no way I can't like the video enough. I, reaching 40yo, been struggling with this technique all my life, and for the first time I'm seeing results. Thank you so much guys!
I am just in the process of learning to do this. At the moment I can get good height from my kick but I am still landing on my back. Glad to know that the bridge exercise and the handstand push ups are in the right direction. I will attempt the backward roll push up to standing tonight to see if that helps. I am reasonably certain that one of my biggest problems is timing. Thanks for the tutorial though - its really helpful.
This really helped. I tried doing it but couldn't, so i said "eh whatever I can't do one". But then later I came back and tried again and i did it. Your tutorials are very helpful and really narrow everything down so people can get a better understanding of how to do one, and now i can teach my friends :)
Great tutorial! As an instructor this is something I have the most difficulty teaching my students how to do. Only about 20% of them actually are able to pull of this move. I liked that you not only explained the mechanics of the Kip Up but also went into detail on which exercises would be effective to progress and why.
have been trying to find videos on people standing from the floor using various methods, work out, yoga, military, karate / whatever, and this guy just reminds me of the burger king dude. Thanks for the video, it's awesome and so are you! Need more variety in "getting off the floor in different ways" videos.
watched your tutorials for a while and I just realized I never subscribed before. Done it now! thanks for your very neat explanations and please 'kip up' the hard work :)
best video on this topic, i have found. thanks and you are making a really great, round one, not so flat and chaotic as others. you come very high, not low like i have seen it before
Love the suggestion of the folding pad. Being able to use something similar is helping me with several techniques that require progression. So glad I found this channel.
Hey guys, I really like how detailed your tutorials are, and I was just wondering if you guys could do a frontflip, backflip, and side flip tutorials? I just need some help on how to do them better and get more height
Grate tutorial. I've been struggling with the kip up for some time now. Thanks to your video I now know it's because i don't kick strait up. Grate job...please keep it up!
awesome video bros i've been watching your videos since the monkey/kong tut, learned it thanks to you, and now that i've kinda learned my vaults i wanna get into flips andstuff like the kick up. i really apreciate your videos, and please keep your awesome work up :)
Hey fellas, i would love for you guys to do more martial arts themed circuits or even little instructional videos. It would be so awesome. Maybe even some basics forms and movements of your kung fu.
hey thank you so much now I can stand back up like a ninja, your videos really help I don't know how to send a video to you or else I'd show you what I learned
Hey Tapp brothers I really like your videos and I am pretty much able to do round off, front handspring, palm spin, handstand and all your basic parkour moves and I would really like to watch a video on how to do a 1 step and a 2 step wall back flip. I sure hope that you will come up with a video of it soon. Thank you for all your guidance.
OK so I gotta say: overall nice Video. Now a few points to point out: 1. When going backwards NEVER land on your head, this can easily cause rupture to your neck muscels, and its very painfuil / dangerous 2. When bringing your knees to your face, dont kick your teeth in, its mandatory to keep them in a kick position to prevent that 3. Ofcourse landing into your knees is bad, but try not to heavily land on your butt as well, as it can cause serious ruptures to the lower end of your spine. 4. When preparing for the it and dont be too ambitious, you can learn to do bridges, but it is very advanced and dangerous to your hand joints.
A lot of people nowadays are getting into parkour, but martial artists have been doing parkour 100's of years before it was named. Jackie Chan since the 70's good example💯💯. The kip up, is a martial arts technique, used to quickly and effeciently stand up when your knocked down. Even though it is a very versatile tool in the technique book in many sports.
Very nice tutorial, but I need help on strength. I want to know how to make wrist strong and when stop practicing or when to take rest. When a trained thoroughly for 5 days i started feeling l pain in my wrist which by the way got away after one day rest. Can you tips on exercise routine and tips on developing bone strength ? Thanks
Mevan Wijesinghe i have hair like that it seems like all the guys with that kind of hair is good at parkour im good at parkour soo i say have that kind of hair xD
close range till you master it long range maximum range squat down a bit when you land one leg precision jumps ... that's all I think is needed to have great precision

I can do it thanks! I practiced for a week on a mattress then transitioned to ground. It took me 2 weeks to fully master.
Easiest on trampoline, easy on ground, hard on matress. thats just for me.
Don't forget hip flexibility! That along with your lower back will help you pull this off. Nice video!
Can you do a tutorial on the front handspring?
And this is what you call a perfect tutorial ! ❤💕
