My mom tried the pakoda and it came out really good. My family liked it very much.
Very unique episode. Nothing like working together with your Guru/father. Also, every time you mention about Nagaraj master it goes to show how in addition to your father/grandfather you have so much respect for him. Samayal kalai is a noble one as it is not just for satisfying the taste buds/stomach/ intestines. As we all know, it is an Aahuti for jatharagni in the digestive system. Love your passion. If you don't mind I would like to add the following. An eatery's true name and fame come from the owner's unwavering philosophy (as exemplified by your father), their employees' goodwill and their combined hard work, not from cinema personalities visiting them. Yes they do have a place in our society like most of us, but in my humble opinion we don't have to associate them with other things to seek endorsement or credence.

For the first time, I didn't concentrate on the recipe. The conversation between you and your father about the past was beautiful. My Thaatha was also a hotelier in a small town near Tirunelveli.
