I have this router as well. Love it. I would love to see an aftermarket cover to replace the dust port when not needed Sometimes the cut requires the dust extraction below the base and I find myself grabbing some masking tape to cover the port. Maybe someone with a 3D printer could make one?
I’ve got the Dewalt and have no complaints and have heard most dudes prefer the Dewalt due to the Milwaukee being too small, was wondering when I saw your hands on it how you experience that differently. I’m 6’2” and have small hands for my size, can’t imagine a smaller router feeling like I could keep hold of it!
I have the 18v Ridgid palm router and just bought this the other day. I’m 6’4” (2X gloves) and absolutely love this router. The size is perfect for my hands and the balance was amazing compared to my Ridgid. Dust collection is also a lot better. I’ve used Ridgid cordless tools since mid 90’s but I’m new to routers. So I can’t give you a comparison against the Dewalt.
