I’m honored to be featured in this video. You guys are such awesome stewards of this community. Thank you very much. Also the pennant should go to the shop.
Hello, I was wondering where did you get that little notebook included in the box? I thought that was an AESOME idea and would like to do something similar!
Also, seeing how ppl doing it well set up their online stores is super helpful for anyone trying to achieve the same. And in sure it earns him some loyalty... It's a great idea all around.
Matt and Amy thank you so so very much for sharing our products!!! I am honored to be a part of your review video! You both are top notch and the fact that you guys support our fellow makers is just so cool!! Thank you both so much ❤ I am definitely buying that sander jig
Dude!! Thanks for your support. It's such an honor to be in this mashup with so many talented woodworkers. Keep doing what you are doing! If you ever come to Northern California please hit me up.
Just got into wood working (about 8 months in) I have much to learn. I just want to say thanks to everyone who posted a how to video on youtube. Its people like you that sparked something in people like me. God bless !!!
I love the giving back shows. Not only because it supports our fellow makers, but it inspires me to level up and reminds me of why we take our time designing and fabricating. Beautiful work by all.
Matt and Amy, Thank you for showcasing other woodworkers on your videos. It helps to show how selfless you both are. I realize you weren't trying to build yourselves up to benefit you but other makers. You are helping others as we are all called to do and I appreciate that. I'm not very good at conveying what I mean but I hope you understand. Have a blessed week ahead and please stay safe. 😊😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you so so much for all you do retired two years ago after 33 years of law enforcement and want to refine my wood working skills again thank you so so much. I love all the items.
Really cool that you guys purchase and support these and other makers. Chris is a great guy to follow. He does some great work and just a good, straightforward person
You just became my favorite woodworking channel. The fact that you would feature our products rather than wasting money on professional products that most of us have probably already tried and don't need reviews of. The fact that you give back by supporting us... it's huge. Good onya!!
These are always great videos. It always gives me an idea of something to make or purchase for family members during the holidays. And I’m with Mrs. 731…”I love a stand” too!
This was a great vid idea. It's a good demonstration of how to showcase your work, set up your online store, and package your product... but it also solidifies his community, and earns him some much deserved appreciation and loyalty. Good for all, and basically a masterclass in being an online presence. Cudos.
Another awesome video Matt and Amy love that you guy are doing this to support other makers like yourself. You guy also have amazing items and package your items amazing well so a shoutout to you both for all the amazing things you do God bless you 🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️
So amazing to see the things made by real people, as opposed to corporations. Thanks for honoring small businesses and craftsmen. BTW, Mia is adorable.
Babinga wood, like in one of your mallets, has been used in Grand Pianos. It is felt to most accurately reflect the sound from the sound board. It is stunning.
Thank you, I always figured Honduras mahogany all through. Bubinga does look like it is in the "mahogany " family, like the deck I just built out of sapele. Gorgeous wood that will wear better than Honduras or African mahogany. So kool, Thank you for the soundboard information, and especially to Matt and Amy, for reflecting back help and honor to others!!
Lots of great products and how incredible of you to support your suscribers! I will say though, Mia stole the show and I love how she's just chilling on the table.
New woodworker here. Stumbled upon this video and have to say I instantly subscribed. Content creator that will do things like this is respectable and I love it.
Great gear from great makers, Absolutely enjoy the Glimpse Inside sander jig. I’ve met Chris and he’s a great guy here in Jacksonville Fl. Nice work Mr 731
Using string, and sending a gift or a note adds that personal touch, and sometimes people are more grateful for that than they are for the product they bought, I always try and add a little extra when people buy something, it costs me nothing but time but is worth a whole lot
Great video. Although I’m a metal art guy I also do some wood working. Years and years ago I had a cabinet shop in addition to my machine shop. One of my last projects was to fulfill an order from a company that went under. They were custom made Backgammon sets . They were all made with inlayed veneers. Simply beautiful. I’ve often thought about putting some of my metal art on Esty but honestly I’m enjoying retirement too much to be obligating my time to fulfill orders. I very much enjoy your channel. Appreciate you helping some of your subscribers. That’s a class act! Last, I like how your wife rolls. 😃 why limit yourself to just one.
one of the reasons why i watch your and others woodworkers videos is for inspiration and ideas. And this is just mindblowing how awesome stuff people make so refreshing to see in an era of plastic China products .
Its just a kit you buy and screw rounded pen blank acrylic into, literally takes zero talent or inovation, a very little time. The only hard part is getting your money from the kit and pen blank back out of it.
This is the absolute best video I've ever watched. Lots of great gift ideas and quality made products. I love this! Should add unique gift ideas to the description.
Great products everyone! I'm just breaking into the online sales world with my creations, and I think this is an awesome way to support your subscribers, boost their businesses, and showcase all of their talents. I have submitted my first Etsy product for consideration, and maybe, just maybe.... it will be something Matt & Mr.s 731 need for their end tables or nightstands.🤞
OMG 0:58 i have one of these, and for years I've been hanging it from the tail end. idk why i never thought about hanging it from the other end. I've been doing it wrong all these years!
Ok....Ok....I am....Well....To be straight forward....""""I AM JEALOUS""""" Howdy Mr. 731 and The Mrs. Where do I begin here in my statement???? Hmmm. Well, 1st off, to all who created these things. Kudos. They all look GREAT!!!! You, Mr. 731, mention that one of the "rules" is that you have to have an Etsy or Online store of some sort before "you" would consider the purchase. Hmm. Questionable, but I get it. 😊 So, from this video and the past few you've done thus far...It's obvious these people are selling these things. Again, hats off to them. I stand here in my shop while watching your video (TRYING to clean my shop, but ohhh noooo, you gots to go and put out a video that makes me stop cleaning 😅😅) I look at these items. Very much not trying to put myself up on a higher plane here......but the decades it's taken me to reach my skill level...I look at these items, though very cool....I'm perplexed?????????? People/Customers buy this stuff? Really???? I mean common??? Really?? Sales are being made??? To say I'm over thinking "MY" builds and thinking they ain't good enough.....Ummmm. 😮😮😮😮 Seriously, that seems to be an understatement to like the 100th degree. Even a simple Planter, to me in "MY" eyes, being extremely tooooooo easy easy to build isn't worth 10 bucks. I feel GUILTY as all can say selling it for $20 or $30. I am just not seeing the value. It's a few boards slapped together. Most of what I've seen in these videos of people selling, "I" can practically do with one eye shut and my dominant hand tied behind my back. That statement is in NO WAY meant to be derogatory. Rather, it's meant to be a statement of....I need to get off my High Horse of "Perfection" and start making some money. Seriously!!!! I have about 7 - 8 sleds/jigs built to perfection for making EXTREMELY precise cuts, I mean to the.0002ths. You mean to tell me all I had to do was cut up a few cubes, drill a few holes, paint, sand and finish and I could sell a pair of wooden dice and a simple Domino????? Slap 2 pieces of wood species together, sand and stain, call it a mallet and THAT would sell???? REALLY???? I made mallets in Jr. High School as a TEST given by the teacher. That's NOTHING to do. You mean to tell me THESE THINGS sell?????? REALLY???? Mannnnn!!!!!! I'm freaking jealous!!!! Not to mention upset with myself. Again I say...I've been wayyyy over thinking my "selling" projects and thinking they wasn't good enough to sell. I've got a shed full of stuff I made that I didn't think was good enough so I didn't even try to sell them. I am honestly beside myself here kicking myself in places I can't mention. Aside from that sander jig thing (that would take some measurements and several prototypes....everything else was all beginner, maybe 2 year wood working skill level. But it's selling????? I'm at 40 year skill level and putting things I've made aside cause it wasn't "perfect" enough. All I can say to all your people whom you've bought from....Watch out and make way. I've got MANY notebooks of already drawn plans I designed myself, even some that predate the internet. I'm hyped up now. 😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮
Some outstanding pieces there, for sure. That first stand with the piece of slab for a top was magnificent. Office. The shop is getting too cluttered, so things stop standing out.
I love what you guys do and how you help promote other makers. I just want caution creators to be careful when it comes borrowing something so unique as the mountain cutting board from another maker (Alm Fab) and selling it as their own idea.
Michael Alm was 100% the inspiration for all of my plywood boards. His craftsmanship and creativity is outstanding! I have referenced and thanked him on my instagram videos. I haven't met Michael yet, but from his videos he appears to be a quality guy, and very friendly.
@rich_wood_resin_works Glad to hear it. He is a great creator. And I hope you didn't think I was accusing you directly, just a general caution to creators, and your work was a good example. I did check out your work, and you are talented as well.
This is the 2nd time I watched and still like everything. All are great but if I was to buy just one it would be the magnifying glass. It is simple but elegent. My desk has so many little items I collect just because. All were great.
Wow, love all of these. Shame I am in the UK. Shipping, if they do ship to the UK, would make these so expensive. Love what you are doing, keep supporting your local artists.
Wow lots of cool stuff there. That's why I don't check out etsy. Might go broke buying all the awesome stuff I don't really need 😅 The pennant will look better in the office I'm sure.

How can you put a Pokémon figure inside of epoxy and then sell it? I have a nfl related deal but from what I understand they are sue happy but I am buying their copyrighted teams decals and adding it to my product. I think I have found a work around but how is Pokémon not go after copyrights
@@paulmccullough7352 maybe. But from what I have understood, if I purchase a decal for a national pro sports team, and place it on a handmade, hand painted flag, and give it away, they have been known coming after people. So it not even the people were selling anything.

Original Nintendo! Nice. I too was a Nintendo junkie, and I still have a console today.
Your dog is adorable, you should feature him/her in more videos...
Great stufff!!!!!!
I believe I heard the boss say, “Office”!
Very cool!
Oh Man! Wish we would have known! We have a new product we are about to release that would have been perfect for this video!
"... they end up getting jobs in construction." Excellent Dad joke!
Wow, you guys are awesome. One day when I become as big as you guys, ima do the same thing and give back!
Pennant in the office… makes more room for the future Laser in the shop😉
Techmo Bowl!
One of the first things I ever did on my cnc was the play call screen with “ready, down, hut hut hut”
Looks like Christmas came in March.
Those plant stands could also be charcuterie boards
This is a very cool thing you’ve done.
Good on ya….
Wow lots of cool stuff there. That's why I don't check out etsy. Might go broke buying all the awesome stuff I don't really need 😅 The pennant will look better in the office I'm sure.
Matt, enjoyed the video and the products displayed. I was wondering where you get all of those great Christian t-shirts? ✝
Look under the description of this video for a link to the T-shirts
Most come from Kerusso.com

How can you put a Pokémon figure inside of epoxy and then sell it? I have a nfl related deal but from what I understand they are sue happy but I am buying their copyrighted teams decals and adding it to my product. I think I have found a work around but how is Pokémon not go after copyrights
I would imagine it is considered fair use as it is more like an art piece using the Pokémon not actually reselling the Pokémon itself.
@@paulmccullough7352 maybe. But from what I have understood, if I purchase a decal for a national pro sports team, and place it on a handmade, hand painted flag, and give it away, they have been known coming after people. So it not even the people were selling anything.
