Coming from the guy that sells you your motor when you go to get a re-power (parts manager) I would go four stroke Suzuki all day Yamaha made the best two strokes, no doubt, but they don’t make those anymore and they don’t make the best four strokes Suzuki‘s been making them three times as long And has a longer warranty and better reliability when I see him in the shop
I really like the 25 but was wondering if they make a side console as to me the center console takes up a lot of room and not much room to walk around it , you didn’t mention the key thing - cost -! Flats skiffs are so expensive, with the cost of the boat ,motor, and poling platform it is up there , and a full size flats boat you could almost buy a cheap house , I’ve even thought about building my own skiff 🤔
The cost for these varies quite a bit. base price, you can be in one for less than 9k (Boat Motor Trailer) and maxed out you can be in one over 24k. In my next Gheenoe video I will go over more cost of exactly what I have but they also have a great website with pricing if you want to build your own it will price it online with no needed information from you.
Imagine how much more fun it would have been if you would have the weight distribution equal by using a front stick steering and tilt on throttle, for motor so it would plane faster, and float higher out of the water in the back….I don’t understand why people put so much weight in the back of a boat? If you must do that consider a stick steer boat….you won’t regret it….
Dude, I really like the 25. It seems to be a more stable boat. I would like to ask, what is the plate bolted on motor for? Also it looked like you have a short shaft motor on it. Did you purchase the boat with all the compartments or do they come with the boat? Thanks, Steve
Super 16 is very similar to the lt-25. The finish is different though. The LT is more “custom” while the super 16 is more generic. Dimensions are very close
Wow I'm a little shocked with the stability testing. This primarily because I have a Peenoe k-1511 which is a Kevlar version of, theoretically, the 10 gheenoe. Im 300lbs and standing as you are on the back it doesn't come anywhere near the rail I'm not even sure it sinks as much as the lt25 with you two guys... In fact pretty sure it doesn't.
Actually I think I was about 265-275 last time I tried standing with front of feet over gunwale front and rear testing stability and draw. Will have to retest when I get it refurbed and back in water
Gheenoes are great but they don't have the capabilities of a canoe. It is easy to paddle a canoe 10 or 15 miles in a day. In a Gheenoe paddles are for short quite maneuvers while you fish.
Constructive criticism, practice stop saying "umm." Very informative video, I'm now a follower.
Love the gheenoe videos, i have a 15'4 and love it. They are great boats
Right on!
Agreed regarding the music. We get enough electronics and noise. I’ll take the wind and water sounds any day.
Love the Gheenoe Videos! Keep them coming! Can't wait to see all the places you will take it.
I'd like to see a comparison between the LT25 and Super 16. Thanks for the video.
I probably wouldn’t buy a super 16 for testing purposes but if someone had one I could use and wanted to be in a video then if totally make one
That’s an absolute dream boat.

Love the comparison! I have a highsider, I’d love to see a side by side of a highsider and lt10 if you ever get the chance!
Noted! I sold the LT10 ill have to find another one for testing.

this was a great video btw, you did a great job walking through the boats
Like the video, but you forgot some things.
Whats the total weights, hows pulling/towing and can a small suv handle the towing?

I only use the stereo when I’m at home washing it or doing any maintenance
Exactly

17.20: " Let'go take a Lil ride on these guys"
Proceeds to take 99.9999 drone video footage on only himself😂😂😂
Actually it was my gf’s brother in one boat. And my gf in the other. She did not understand the assignment lol
Johnny you might have the biggest hands from a guy your size I’ve ever seen, I thought I was the only skinny guy like that but there’s more of us😂
Great video. Thank you for all of the info.
Very good video. I’m looking for a used lt25.
They are awesome
There is nothing more accurate than a Stabile stability test !!
😂😂😂😂😂
Great video! What speed you getting with the 20hp on that lt10?
With both Laura and I we got 28 mph didn’t do a proper speed test I’m sure we could’ve gotten more
@Johnny Stabile Did it feel safe or uncomfortable?
Perfectly fine at 28mph
How many people can you fit in the lt25 until it starts being sketchy
Gheenoe seriously needs to consider making a wide stick steer boat…
Best micro skiffs on the water no doubt #gheenoelife
Good descriptive vid 👍
How much is that Cheenoe 25?The way you have it set up
Would like to know the difference between the super 16 vs LT

what about the 15.4 highsider ?
I probably won’t do a video on the 15.4 highsider. I rolled one in high school and haven’t had one since
Are gheenoe good for shallow water in Galveston TX? Like riding in intels and back waters for fishing?
They run skinny. If you get areas where it’s rough you’ll get wet. Not a dry running boat. Not really meant for “open water”
Considering a Gheenoe LT25 for my local (somewhat large) lakes here in DFW. How does this handle chop and would you recommend it for large lakes?
It handles exceptionally well for what it is. If it’s a little choppy you’re fine under 1’ of chop. You may get wet if it’s rougher than that
They are actualy nothing like canoes . They have chinee and strakes. They are fullfledged boat
Ok
How much does that can you cost at twenty five
Is the steering and throttle electric?
Which boat are you asking about?
@@JohnnyStabile LT 25
No cable for both
@@JohnnyStabile thanks
What’s a boat like that cost?
They range from 8500-25k
Are there dealers down in Florida that have a selection to go look at?
Who's song is used at the end of this video?
Bright Lights got it on sound stripe copyright free music
Suzuki are pretty reliable too but ya Yamaha on top
Did you sell the LT10 ?
Yeah
Hey, brother what song is that?
Bright lights I’m not sure by who
@JohnnyStabile Thank you Johnny!
🤙🤙🤙

They need a powerpole in the back
They don't "need" that. Those vessels get "powerpoled" with a 2 pound rock
Ghee-noe
Ghee (pronounced like key)-new

Can we all agree the intro music sucks and is over played on youtube.
Can’t please everyone I guess
