In the design software, you need to set the sewing order to do the center letters first, e.g., Iced Tea would be d,T, (1st)e, (2nd)e,c,a,I. Basically your center letters, working back and forth, right, then left, to the outer letters. It’s easy with lettering, less so for designs, but the same concept. I hope that this helps, if not you, someone else.
I struggle with letters on hats. What's the best font or smallest size? Mine looks 'blurry' for lack of a better word. The letters are just not crisp. This was a great video! Very informative!
I noticed it looks like you took the holder for the cap bill off. Mine hits the back of my machine and I don’t see any adjustment. Is it ok to remove it?
What is the name of hat hoop with the small metal piece on the front? Mine has a wide, grey, plastic piece that goes on front of hat and I can't get my designs low enough.

That was very helpful. Does the machine need servicing if it gets out of alignment because the top screws and bottom screws hit?
