Thank you so much for these videos. Someone gifted me a 6 needle Brother and I have been intimidated to use it for a year. But you are helping me more and more with each video. Thanks, from the deep South of LA.
Great video! I have a hat assembly and haven't used it yet. Now I feel comfortable enough to try it. You did a great job explaining and showing everything! Thank you so much!!
I agree with Sandra, best video yet on hooping a hat !!! I have had my embroidery machine for 3 1/2 years and was never trained on how to hoop my hat. When I was ready the seller was fired 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️. I looked for videos but they did not make since until now. Thank you 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
this video saved my day. iIwatched several other videos on how to attach my hat driver for my 10 needle Enterprise but Jordon's was more in depth and easier to follow. Better camera angles on his demonstration.
Btw, I agree with everyone else, this is a fantastic video. I don’t usually watch videos because people tend to ramble and take up too much time, or go way too fast. This video is perfect! I will most definitely like and subscribe!
Thank you!! This helped so much! Question: 1) how do you get the design closer to the bill of the hat on an unstructured hat? and 2) How do you set the hoop to get the design to stitch on the lower left hand corner of the front of the hat? also 3) I have customers wanting a design on/curved over the back of the snap back hat, how do you line that up? I'm just starting, any help is awesome!
Thank you! Unstructured hats are a bit tricky and this particular hat frame can only go so low unfortunately as well as being able to go further to the left or right can also be hindering. To do the back side on the mesh I would say use the hat attachment for from fast frames, its curved and makes it so its much easier to line up!
Would i need a different hat attachment to do something on the side of a hat? If i can use the same one, a video on that would be stellar. Thanks brotha!!
@@carolinasewnvac735 With the sticky backing and using a smaller quick frame? I would LOVE to see a video where you use the baby lock to do a side and back of a hat. Im a real newbie, im a screen printer trying to be a embroider too. 😉
Excellent video! I am having trouble with an unstructured hat - the design doesn't seem to stitch exactly right sometimes. Are there any tricks that you can advise me on? Also, do you use stabilizer for unstructured hats? Thanks!
Thank you for the compliment! unstructured/ dad hats are tricky with this kind of frame, slow speed and good stabilizer are the best advice I can give on those! I personally don't use stabilizer on unstructured hats but I have a lot of customers that do this for a business that do. So I would say that you are most likely safe to not use stabilizer but if you want to be 100% go ahead and add some med tearaway to be safe!
This video is super helpful, thank you! I have an older machine that I got, it is a Babylock MBP6. In the manual it says to "Put the pad between the machine bed and ring of the cap frame driver." I don't have the pad they are talking about - are you familiar with this? I'm just wondering if it is something that I need or will it scratch my machine bed all up.
Im not sure of the exact shipping weight but the machine itself weighs about 80 lbs. 2 people can easily carry it on either side! www.carolinasewnvac.com/store/p/baby-lock-array Give me a call if you have any question we offer bundles and 0% financing!
I set up the wide cap frame on my 1050x - did everything by the book and watched videos but the machine is making a scrachy noise and broke 2 needles, any advice please
So once I have it saved in the correct hoop in my software, and installed on the machine correctly, that is all I need to do? Besides move it down a little bit?
After I put my hat frame on to the machine and ready to embroider, my hoop sometimes wants to pop off. It seems the rollers don't want to hold it on well. Is there any adjustments I can do to fix this?

This is an EXCELLENT video very thorough and so easy to follow...thank you!!❤️

So helpful! Just did my first structured hat. Jordan makes locking that clamp look so easy though. I just broke a sweat trying to do mine 🤣
Lol, it starts to break in after a few times!
that was so spot on!!! thank you for doing this video. very easy to follow instructions.
Youre welcome thanks for the kind words!
Nicely done! Look forward to more videos.
Adding stops for an ITH project would be great.
I’m so excited to use this hat hoop❤😊
Thank you so much! I bought a used machine and had no idea how to use this. Great video.
Great video! My hat hoop looks different for the part where the hat clamps on 😢
Thank you for being so amazing ...
Thank you for the video!!! I'm still breaking needles. Can anyone help?
Nice video Jordan! How about one on installing the table on the multineedle machine :)
Haha ill see if i can work that into one! Thanks for watching!
Great, Thank you for helping me figure out how to hoop a hat.
Absolutely!
Thanks for this video ... great walk thru
Where can this hat frame be purchased?

Great video!im having trouble the piece that holds the bill in piece, rubbing on my machine. Not sure why?
That is odd but I've seen that before. it rubs the plastic down but shouldn't damage anything, thanks for the comment!
Hi, what is the degree of rotation on the hat? I’m wondering if it can embroider a wide design. Thanks for the video!

@@revolutioninprint8906 Yeah use a sticky stabilizer and a frame to match the size of design your trying to do. I will add that idea to my list!
@@carolinasewnvac735 Awesomeness. I know im not the only one who needs a good tutorial. Thanks, my friend. :)
Thank You very helpful
I have the Baby Lock Alliance and my machine will not rotate the hat while embroidering. It’s like the accessory is stuck.
If your sure you have it all set up correctly you may need to take that one into your dealer to look at! 😬
This is a great video. I just got the same embroidery machine. I just need to know where can I get the hat hoop.
Thank you! If you haven't pulled the trigger on a hoop yet give me a call

You don't need that pad. Although it may make it quieter.
How do you like this machine..I am thinking about geting a older used model like this one@@rmskrhak
Awesome video!11
How did you line it up so you know where it’s going to be?
thanks for the good tutorial

Are these the same instructions for the Baby Lock Endurance for the hat hoop.?
Yes they are, this applies to the standard hat hoop for all baby lock 6 and 10 needles
You mentioned that you had added the adapter. What is that? I have the hat frame but I am not sure what you mean.
Great video
Hi Jordan, trying to get my Intrepid to move back to the center of hoop and nothing works, help!!
What brand attachment do you use

Can you embroider on the side or the back of a cap?
After I put my hat frame on to the machine and ready to embroider, my hoop sometimes wants to pop off. It seems the rollers don't want to hold it on well. Is there any adjustments I can do to fix this?
Can you remove the bar on the back of the hoop to enable a larger embroider area for a side patch? Will the machine still function properly?
Im not totally sure which bar you mean but I wouldn't recommend taking pieces off the hoot in case it damages your machine
My cap frame driver won’t center. Can you help me
What hat hoop is this and where can I purchase?
its the baby lock epcf3 and if you are interested you can give us call and order one- 919-873-1981
I can’t seem to get mine on can you please show from bottom
I have a baby lock valiant
where can you purchase the cap set
Same way for the babylock array??
As long as its the standard cap hoop, yes
I noticed you did not use a stabilizer.
I typically don't on structured hats

Why does my needle break every time I try to do a hat? It hits the medal and breaks every single time.
Es el mismo aro del dé 6 que del dé 10 agujas
What is the name of this hoop
This hoop seems very expensive! Between USD $500 and $700 on-line, depending on the seller :-(
Why does the machine say I need a bigger hoop?
Probably because your design is too big for the cap frame ability. Use designs that are less than 2.32 inches high and not any wider than 4.15 inch.
hi
Price?
For the machine or the hoop frame set?
Back Forty TV just bought a 10 needle & need a hat hoop
