Orzo is one of my top five pasta shapes. Oftentimes I dry toast it in a skillet then use it to make a pseudo risotto which takes only about 15 minutes to cook.

I had half a head of cabbage left over from making cabbage soup so I made your recipe of apple bacon with cabbage I really enjoyed it so I will try this also I love anything with black olives in it
Ms Rachel, you never cease to amaze me. I am not a huge ham person myself, but my family loves it and can’t seem to get enough, but as usual, there’s always some left over. Recipes are sometimes hard to find, and those you do find, normally call for potatoes. This is a different spin with the orzo and tomatoes. I’m for sure going to try this after our large Christmas dinner. BTW…Another “Apron Luv” going on! Gonna have to find a pattern so I can make my own!
