  • You are gonna love these dinner rolls, they are Big, Fluffy an definitely No-Fuss dinner rolls. The holidays are just around the corner, and it’s time to prepare. I always make these dinner rolls for Thanksgiving and Christmas because nothing beats homemade. They are unbelievably delicious and the whole family will love them. You can put them together in minutes and let them rise while you prepare other sides then bake in minutes for a real treat. I have prepared these dinner rolls for years and find them to be super easy. I hope you give them a try. ❤️

The beauty of this rapid rise yeast is that you don't have to proof it or let it rise twice, it is something I like to do to be sure...the advantage is it will rise quicker. You can decide what's best for you.

My father in law worked in a bakery. He taught me to get perfect lukewarm milk or water for yeast to add: half the milk, boiled (or very hot), with the other half cold. Add your sugar etc, and yeast. It has never failed to give me the exact temperature for yeast, every time.

I onced lived in a foster home where the mother made these bread rolls where she put three golf ball-sized dough balls, or slightly smaller, in each cup of a cupcake baking pan, to create these three-leaf clover muffins. YUM!

I can almost smell them here in Polk County!
You might want to be careful about using the garage in June though September, as it might start Baking the dough! 🤠🤠🤠 Back in the 80’s when Detroit was moving to Houston, I won several 20 dollar bets that I could bake a cake in the back seat of my old black Chevy. I would buy one of those instant Betty Crocker just add water cake kits that came with the cardboard cake pan and foil envelope of frosting and mix it up in front of them and put it in the car out in the blazing Texas Sun. I Won every time some Yankee made the bet with me! 😂It takes about an hour and 10 minutes but it bakes ok…
Again, Welcome Home to Texas! Proud to have y’all back! Don’t forget that if you have any kin what ain’t naturalized, just take them to the Alamo, and have ‘‘em sing “The Eyes of Texas” out front 3 days in a row and they’ll be official Texsuns! 👍
Tip: If they’re shy, you can take them at about sunrise as nobody’s there except the security guards, and if they’re in need of some Liquid Courage, it’s just a short walk from the river walk, where you can get most any kind of alcohol a body could imagine. 😜

One of the few benefits of living in Texas during the hot months is having a warm garage where you can let your dough rise. We used to do the same thing, covering the pan with a dish towel to help keep the warmth in (and any flies out) while they were rising.

So happy to recently have found your channel! I've been mesmerized by your cooking and have binge watched your channel every evening lol. You do such an amazing job and make every dish look amazing! RUclips videos has become a sort of comfort zone for me after losing my husband to cancer in 2018 when he was just 46 and I was 41. We have four children, 2 grown and my youngest girls are 11 & 7. I've always loved cooking and trying new recipes and watching channels such as yours has helped me more than you know. There was a time after losing him it was a struggle for me to cook or want to do much. But my babies gave me purpose and cooking is something we love doing together.
Thank you for sharing your cooking. People like you probably don't realize how much of a comfort you are to people like me.❤️❤️

You know what this beautiful rolls remind of? The ones we were served when we were in school and the cafeteria made their food in their school kitchen. I love this recipe my sweet friend! I've never made homemade dinner rolls and once again, thanks to you, I'll certainly try making them. You've made it so easy and I'm going to practice so I can also use them during holiday meals. So happy you're settling in well in the RGV. We're finally seeing relief from triple digit temperatures and hope y'all will see relief soon as well. May you and your Ron have a wonderfully blessed first full week of fall. As always dear Rachel, sending you tons of love and blessings.

❤Rachel you bake like me. I learened these techniques on my own, especially adding the flour a little bit at a time. I'm 75 years old but when I was still working I always took in an arrangement of cookies at Christmas time & got accused of burning them from a bakery, after one of the girls I worked with & was close to let them know that I used to be in the restaurant business a lot of them would ask me for my recipes which I was glad to share. One of them told me that hers turned out like rocks. I told her it was time to trouble shoot. As it turned out w hen it came time for the flour she dumped the whole thing in at once & on some of the cookies I started out on the BOTTOM shelf & changed to the middle half way through. That was with the chocolate chip. & I always used REAL BUTTER. There again I grew up farm & we used to make our own butter & it was delicious. I found real butter that tasted like ours suddenly the taste changed, I made the remark "I'm probably going to have to go out & buy the cow to make butter. Just about a month ago I found the taste of real butter again. It was a little pricey but was well worth it. Those little things make a BIG difference. I just enjoy listening to you talk while you are cooking. You cook with LOVE❤
