Love you're demeanor.
Open and straight forward.
Man, these are some excellent points. Great insight and simply stated without all the fluff talk. Im really impressed. Im gonna have go on and subscribe bro. Ha!
This message 🤝💯💯💯
Great video man. I’m doing all sorts of research. Looking at LLC, setting up EIN, applying for DOT and MC numbers then seeing what trailer I’d like. I’m already thinking I will just get a CDL even though I’m more than likely not going to exceed 26000. I have a F250 10k GVWR. Factory hitch with a 15k max gross trailer weight and a drop down hitch by Curt that has a max of 20k gross trailer weight. It’s all about safety and just doing it right from the start
I had cdl now I'm going non cdl
Congratulations on the new truck 💪🏾💪🏾 Keep rocking
Thanks for the support! Stay tuned ✊🏽🔥
Appreciate the transparency. I was thinking the same thing months ago. Start my class a cdl course the 2nd week of January out here in Phoenix! Good luck on yours. Keep grindin folk
Thanks man. I just got Class A's but have not left my full time job yet. Trucking is a side hustle for me, I intend to open a by the yard store as a retirement operation even though I'm 47. Good luck on your test.
Thanks you sir!🔥
The time you put into your own business is PRICELESS. 🥰
Good knowledge. Great information. Keep them coming.
Yessir , stay tuned boss 🔥
Aye I’m tryna sell my box truck now!!! went to school to get my cdl set me back by being home even tho I stacked before going to school a box truck is now what it is been in the game for over a year it’s time to elevate lookin for a rig now or dually but everything is overpriced like a mf get you cdl I limited myself for a while definitely your speaking facts about home time etc
You're on to something and you get it, like you i started non CDL box truck and saw great money and learned about trucking however like you said you have to do so much hustling where you get exhausted just trying to book a load.. I got my CDL permit and tomorrow's is my second day of driving and pre trip... its time to scale up fa sure... SEE U AT THE TOP!!!
Yessir dm me on IG , lock in🔥
All facts bro. I ran a 32 foot pj when i first started. I was always cdl but the amount of available loads jumped when i grabbed a 40 foot. Congrats on the second truck bro, I’m plotting on doing the same thing at the top of next year. Stay safe out there
Man this video is very motivating 🙏🏾..with kids and a wife that has her own business my fear is failure and somebody to pick my kids up from school on time
Appreciate you bro I would have no idea about this or box trucking if not for you ✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿
I’m glad you’re learning bro! Just remember this journey has documented a lot of key mistakes I’ve made too🔥
Try DMV Genie for the written part of CDL testing...
It helped me out...
Love the intro.. Yes You’re Definitely Out There, Out There!!😊💯💯 EntreMike💙
Great video I have been a class A driver for 10 years I just sent my son to school to get his CDLI am now starting a hotshot business to step down out the truck for a little while it’s not hard to study my son used RUclips and I took him on the road for two weeks and he passed every thing first shot you can do it too.
I've had my c.d.l. for 26 years and going to stay that way.i never did hotshot butt I see them pulled over all the time,so no to that headache. Butt you keep on grinding young man.its all you.
Yessir, can’t wait to see progress over time, it’s a different industry, we all hope to get to the level you’re at 🔥
Getting my permit right after thanksgiving. Then just got to do the driving test , hopefully it all goes good.
Didn't want to do it but I don't want to be limited like you mentioned.
Same bro ✊🏽 keep grinding🔥
My man! I use the flash card method myself. Only way I can memorize. Got my written test on Jan 13th.
Man I'm glad you keep it real and till it like it is And keep it 100 And don't change that for nobody.
Yessir 🔥 that’s the only way that makes sense to me
Great content dawg!
Thanks for watching!🔥 trying to get the content better 🤝
Would starting non-cdl still be plausible for gaining experience or would you recommend starting out with a cdl instead?
Thank you for keeping it real. We are a carrier that does dispatching for other carriers, and a lot of the people that call to find out about the Dispatching service have unrealistic expectations. I keep having to tell them that as a brand new carrier fresh out the gate, you are not gonna make $10,000 a week. Some don’t even want to hear anything else I have to say after I told him that. But I’ll try to break it down and let them know why exactly they’re not gonna make that initially. A lot of the brokers don’t wanna work with a new authorities. Those that do try to lowball you. Also a lot of new guys don’t understand what it cost to operate their truck. I told him that anybody can get in business but the goal is to keep you in business.
Well yes you are right there is a lot of hype out here about this business. I just wish more people would keep it real.

I’m not in yet, just got my CDLP. I used the apps available to help study.
Thanks for the tip 🔥
I wonder if these CDL training companies will let me walk in and test. My Texas DPS appointment is 2 months away and I want to test before the Feb 7th mark. Any knowledge on that???
I'm going to study going to school to get my cdl big bro I know how to operate but I rather just get it and get it over with and do my thing is just a step I need to take to continue my dream
Exactly ! Glad you’re taking that approach bro 🔥
THANX BRO YOU ALWAYS KEEP IT A BUCK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yessir , if that’s all I’m known for, I’m good with that🔥💯
You need over 10 years
Great video and very honest and transparent. Most of the others RUclipsrs have been selling craps for consultation fees.. people buying box trucks for 30k and dealing with brokers paying them peanuts
Congratulations to you…
Thanks for the support 🔥
I have my class a tankers/hazmat endorsement. I've been driving 18 wheelers for 12yrs but I decided to do hotshot. My question would be, is there a lot of hazmat freight in hotshot?
No sir, why not run stepdeck or flatbed 👀 just wondering
@@entremike well I was running flatbed with a business partner. But I decided to start my own authority. Eventually I will get back to the big rigs. But I want to experience the hotshot game and see how it goes. I have a 2021 ram 3500 and a 40ft trailer. Just want to do something different. Ya know.
Take your class a road test in a semi ….. you can take it in a CDL hotshot set up but you will have a lot of restrictions if you do
Air brakes will be your main restriction.
Personally I don’t think you should be able to drive a non cdl box truck without at least an air brakes endorsement and pretrip/laws test.
Off top of my head I know that you will have the air brake restriction and a manual endorsement restriction
So I understand if you get your Permit before February then you are ok as long as you get your CDL before your permit expires…
I heard that too! But either way I just want my class a , and a different set up
Most definitely Mike..! That’s my plan too.! Stay safe out there.
Bro keep your eye on the new law coming they are plotting hard on eliminating non cdl hotshot . I just got my permit and panicking to get my cdl for February 2022 .
Cdl is the way to go for sure.
Yessir 😎
Whats up Mike. i email you some info. keep the grind going.
I checked it out , thanks bro 🔥
People can't live above their means
That’s what society forces people to do. They think about materialistic things rather than following their dreams!
My wife and I were warehouse managers an thought we were gonna be making good money but we didn't but to say that I made this saying... "WE ARE GOING TO BE RUSH CHEAPSKATES" haha and it sure as hell made us humble but I'm in Chicago in looking into going to Progressive trucking school and I know I will open a bunch of doors for my family and I.
@@VIBINWITHCOOP that’s what’s up bro, keep me updated on your journey 🤞🏽
@Anderia Eze why you say it's going to be a game changer can you get more in detail please?
I'm the Box truck king 🤴
Lmao 😭 how’s the business going bro
@@entremike I'm here up North I'm Killing it kill 2 birds with one stone I'm non CDL and I'm loving it. I see a lot of people do not know how to utilize their space in their trucks so I do.
@@black007die did you purchase or lease your box truck
@@jimekaallen519 I'm renting from Ryder
Not hating just stating facts if you don’t do it by February y’all going to school & you gonna pay a lot more than what it cost now facts 3 months after that no more of that stuff get yo cdl you gonna suffer later I swear plus you learn more about dot compliance
I saw someone did a cdl without air brakes just by studying hard using their set up and not going to a school. I know that's probably the hard way to go but some of these cdl schools are backed up for classes now. Enjoy the channel💯
Very true , I’ve heard some are pushed back as far as March, but it’s still our jobs to get it done 🤝✊🏽. Thanks for tuning in bro🔥
Get your CDL tbh
Facts ! Thanks for tuning in bro!
Too much truths! I have been a CDL holder for over 25 years and have been in all aspects of the transportation industry. Get your CDL’s, get your weight up and your options $$$ will increase! Trucking $$$ is about specialization and weight! Not miles.
Thanks for dropping this🔥
Non cdl is a hustle for real. No respect cheap freight and dot will fuck with you harder. Not enough money imo to take a week off every month. You gotta grind it tf out for a few years and build a fleet. The goal should always be to get out that damn truck.
Exactly bro & 3 weeks on 1 week off is my strategy
@@entremike I think that would be the ideal situation. I’m all about this paper tho. I’m glad you brought up having kids cuz I have 2. Oldest is 6 and I want to be off the road by the time she is 10 at the latest. When you got something worth fighting for it really lights a fire up under your ass to do better for them.
Lmao it should man, big respect to you wanting to better their lives, it’ll pay off bro!💯🔥
@@entremike preciate it bro. And keep up with the content. You got me wanting to make videos to help new people out too. This game has a lot of hidden twists and turns that most of the big monetized channels with courses don’t talk about.
