I’m impressed by this young man. Not only does he have the right temperament to run a business, but he also, clearly, has the skill and is doing extremely well for an entrepreneur his age. Bravo!
It always motivates me to watch this young men handling their business and sharing their knowledge! I retired from the Airline industry I always wanted to start my own business and I love to detail my vehicle so I started my own mobile detailing business first I was doing my family’s and close friends then the word of mouth I found my first real Customer she was a young lady who worked at a club I did a quick wash for 50 and I did a lite interior touch up it ended up being 70 dollar job she leaves at an small apartment complex 8 units the neighbors saw me detailing her car and they were all given me compliments we exchanged numbers and one by one I added all up I’m handling 10 cars some like to get maintenance every week and some every other week I’m fine with this amount of business it’s helping me pay my bills everyone is satisfied I started with average tools and slowly I’ve gotten better equipment better quality of product adding more services and the best of all I’m my own boss! Best wishes to all the detailers out there! It’s plenty business for everyone peace!
It's hard to train people cause they all want to eventually do there own thing. Which i don't blame them. But you put so much time and energy into a individual a year later they are gone. I been in the metal polishing and detailing game for over 23 years... I now work a full-time job for retirement the past 5 years and detail on the side/hobby now as I got older. Salute to all them young detailing artists!!!
Yea I been detailing for awhile now alot of guys I know either went to truck driver or working a city job .I just can't see myself working for another person again .I'll most likely go into flipping cars
Love the videos Reyes ! You should ask them how they started getting customers first starting their business, and some tips for others trying to do the same thing. I feel like a lot of people would enjoy that type of content , keep up the good work

Remember this here. It’s not the customer that has an apprehension to the price it’s you. Do not under value yourself. Michael Jordan sells his shoes for $200 a pair and people lineup around the block to buy them. Payless sold there’s for $30 and is now bankrupt and out of business. People want good shit. Sell good shit and don’t worry about your prices. Tell customers your price confidently as hell because you were worth it. That’s my little spiel I gave all my guys.
He’s charging his premium and sticking to it without a fancy shop, love it. I quit because my prices were too high for my market and i didn’t wanna budge just to gain exposure .
Good stuff, this guy does a quality job for sure! However, if you break down his costs for wages, materials etc I would think he is making more like $350 per day which is still pretty good! Thanks Reyes!!
Thx for all ur hard Reyes. Been watching you for three years now. We appreciate all the grind and commitment you put in every day for us. The free99 knowledge! You should a notary video on what the ups and downs etc. Reyes style!! 👌😎

Only main issue I saw was the spraying the foam cannon in the engine bay plus spraying all the water after. It’s something I wouldn’t personally do because I would hate for the car not to start once I’m done because you just put water all in the carburetor and water build up around the spark plugs. Easiest way to get around that is one always making sure that stuff is covered up with at least a bag because If it hasn’t happened yet it’s only a matter of when
I've been a dealership mechanic for 25 years and yeah many engines have the coils going straight down into the engine heads and water does end up in there and shorts out the coils.
