Heck ya detailing is worth it. I worked construction for years and the best choice I ever made was starting my mobile business ! Thanks for the info and knowledge shared from These young men and you Pan 👍
Thank you so much Pan, James, and Mike. I'm very happy that you made this video because, to be honest this video makes me want to start my detailing business more than ever. When I was listening to all 3 of your stories, I did shed a tear. To make it short. I'm an Asian-American, whose parents migrated to the U.S during the Vietnam War. I'm the youngest and the dumbest (academic wise) in my family so I knew I had to work a 9-5 job after high school. My parents came to the states with nothing and busted their butts off just make it through the week. I'm 21 now and my father passed away from stomach cancer almost 3 years ago. I tell you this because my father was hard working man who never took a break even when given the chance. All his life he worked and worked and worked until he died. My father is now gone and has left us with great advice and everything, but my father's goal was only to just live through the next day and never make it to the top. Something what my father told us is to never strive farther than you could go, but at some point, you have to so everyone that you love and care for can have a happy life. I'm not saying I never understood my father's advice, but it was the stereotypical goal of work hard, go to college get a masters and live well. I crave for more than that I want to be somewhere in life where my loved ones don't have to worry about money at all. Ever since high school, I've applied for many jobs near me related to detailing, but none would take me due to me being inexperienced. How does that make since at all? How else am I supposed to train yet learn the basics if people won't hire me? I work 2nd shift right now so for now everything is nice. Three months ago, I purchased a brand new 2022 honda accord. What I'm trying to say Pan, is that for the last 3 months you've been my teacher. I learned so many things within such a few hours of time from you. I really am grateful to have someone like you to help out and give FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE tutorials, advice, reviews, everything. My dream is to start my detailing/mobile business within a year. I just have to say thank you so much Pan, Mike and James for your guy's time. I wish nothing but the best of luck to everyone who wants to strive for something in life. Can't wait for part 2!
Thanks for all that positive feedback Steiner! I'm glad my videos can help you and I wish you all the success with your future endeavours. Hard work pays off. Welcome to my channel. Good luck buddy. Sorry to hear about your father. Starting in this detailing world can be scary in different ways but something that helps me keep my head up is the saying Progress over Perfection. Also, I strive to learn something from each detail I do. Where can I improve? What can I do differently to make sure im giving the customer the results they are paying for? Good luck and if you are passionate about it, use it to fuel yourself and your business.
This was awesome Pan! I just started about a month ago with a modest mobile setup and are doing great. Those first public comments about their cars looking just like they did on the showroom floor really gave me a sense of pride and confidence. Imposter syndrome is something that stopped me from starting this sooner but so glad I did. Those two are incredible human beings it’s clear why they are successful!
Wow, that show with James and Mike really hit home. I’m a 46 yr old detailer part time with a career as well. I fell in love with detailing this last 2 yrs and the joy I see on peoples face as they see their car transformed because of my hard work and sweat. It’s that reaction that keeps fueling me to get better and keep learning more. I’m not young as these guys but my heart is in every detail I complete. I don’t know what the future holds, do I want to specialize or open my own detail facility? Who knows, but even if I detail here and there and never get huge in this field that’s ok with me. I know I have the skills to make it in this industry for yrs to come. Thanks for all that you do and keep them coming.
Thank you for this. Im Turning 40 in 2 weeks and I've decided to start my detail business as well.. I've always enjoyed washing cars especially my own. Growing up, during summer vacations at my dads every other Saturday he would wash his and my stepmothers car. He put on Jazz and we would get after it.. ever since I just enjoy washing cars.. it's therapeutic for me.. I just recently got into actual detailing. I'm currently an EMT for a major fire department in the LA County area. And also I volunteer firefighter. I had an accident in 2020 during the height of Covid. I broke my leg on during a shift.. So after having surgery I was stuck at home.. I got sucked down the rabbit hole.. Found Pans channel and other car channels like Paint Society. And thats when I knew I can do this. Im slowly building a base to start with. Doing family, friends and co-workers. Im currently mobile, just dont have a portable water supply. But i have products and tools ive collected over the years. Slowly getting better as I practice on my personal vehicle. Looking forward to what's to come.
Wow thank you for sharing your story! Glad I could help to inspire people like you. Furthermore, let me thank you for your service to your community. Much respect for the men and women of EMT/fire departments, law enforcement, military, etc. Anyone who works and dedicates their live to help keep others safe is a hero in my eyes. Ever since I got my car detailed I have felt a weight lifted off my shoulder. Being able to walk into a clean car is honestly such a great feeling. I went to a place in Milwaukee Wisconsin called Detail Doctors to do a full car dealing and I immediately scheduled another appointment for three months later. Great way to keep your car clean!
I needed this!as I sit on my lunch break from my regular job being a welder covered in grinding dust, shirt still drenched from the heat, wondering why I’m terrified of jumping with both feet to start my mobile detailing business. This! Just what I needed. Keep going

Thanks for the video guys. Growing up in Puerto Rico I realized I had a passion for cleaning and detailing cars. Ten months ago I finally decided to make my passion into a business. I'm now 58 work full time and book detailing work on my days off. My goal is to grow my business and leave my full time job. Keep up the great work guys. God bless.

Also I just wanted to point out this dude said he started with not a lot only a couple thousand dollars. And it’s like don’t let that intimidate or stop you. My wife and I started with two buckets and 4 microfiber towels and a bottle of car shampoo, all of which we found in an abandoned apartment when I was working maintenance for the complex. We invested zero dollars of money we had because we didn’t have any money. We did 50$ hand washes and by the end of the car shampoo bottle we had enough money to buy a pressure washer, a shop vac, a second bottle of car shampoo and a bottle of super super cleaner that we diluted 25 to 1 and used as apc. We then offered 75$ interiors along with our 50$ hand washes. Now our names are known with high regard in our area and we offer the best and most in depth services you can get in southeastern New Mexico. The only thing we don’t offer is ceramic coatings which we will offer at the start of next year. I mean if you have the drive and the determination nothing can stop you. You can get two buckets and some microfibers and a bottle of car shampoo for less than 40$ If you have more than 40$ than that’s epic everything over that is a head start as far as I’m concerned lol
There is a very good reason why you are the most popular You Tuber on car detailing. 1: You are a throughly nice guy who has no ego 2: You are so passionate and a inspiration to others. 3: You are not afraid to pass on tips and tricks to the less informed 4: i get emotional and hope I can succeed in this detailing world and I look up to you.
Wow thanks for this, it means a lot. I'm so happy to read that I can serve as an inspiration to my viewers, and I hope all of my viewers become successful. Don't forget that hard work will pay off. You can do it! ;)
@@PanTheOrganizer Thanks Pan. You have no idea how much you help us all. I spend hours watching your videos as I’m sure others do as well! And it does make a difference 👍🏼
Love seeing these two young men follow their dreams and make it a reality. I hope more young people follow their dreams and ignore the negativity and jealousy. Yeah they might work more hours a week but they don't see it as work because they are doing what they love. People wake up every day to go do a job that they hate. There is only a small percentage of people who do what they love. I admire the hard work and dedication. Pan you're the man!!! Also hats off to these two young men!!!🙌🏽👏🏽🙌🏽
Great interview! Hard work brings a type of reward and personal satisfaction that nothing else in this world can replicate. Brava to both these young men! You have so much to be proud of!!! My hats off to you both!!!
Talking about starting on a budget I 2 months ago I decided to drop the little bit of credit I had on a Home Depot card to pickup a vacuum , Hoover extractor , ryobi pressure washer and as many other items I could from hd to stretch the little bit of spare cash I had for the other things. In total I spent right at 650$ to get to my first detail job 7 days later I had grossed 750 back working after my 50 hours a week day job and the last couple months have been crazy at time pulling 18 hour days but out of every startup I’ve attempted through the years this is the one I actually enjoy the work and can see it being a long term career and after the last 13 years of working 60+ hours a week plus trying 8-9 startups that failed the feeling it could actually stand long term and enjoy it as an amazing feeling ! All of it started watching yours and Wilson auto detailing videos while at work and I can’t thank y’all enough for all the information you put out !
I’m so glad y’all made this video. I’m 20 with my own mobile detailing business and i know exactly how these guys feel with the family issue and the people older than us. For anyone else with a detailing business, I highly recommend the videos in the description!

@@PanTheOrganizer Hey Pan, I actually have been a subscriber for a couple of years now probably since 500k! I’ve watched probably hundreds of hours of your videos and I’ve learned so much. I’ve also been watching James w/ top class detail as well for quite some time. I’ve learned everything i know about detailing skills and products and how to run a detailing business all from your channel and RUclips.
Thanks for the kind words. Nice to see long time viewers still around to share my insane RUclips journey! :) If you had to pick one, what is your favourite video on my channel so far?
Pan I want to thank you for your knowledge and time spent to help everyone understand detailing on a professional level. I am an amateur starting a small detailing business with low end beginning tools. Only invested 500$. I have gained much knowledge from watching your videos. Personally thank you for taking the time to spread the knowledge so someone like myself can do something they enjoy and earn money while doing to help provide for my family. Your awesome pan
Always watch your content Pan amazing work but this video with these 2 young men and hearing their behind the scenes story is truly amazing. Blessings to all keep up the hard work and great content. Love to hear these stories as I can relate to both.
All 3 of you are inspirations! Coming from different backgrounds with their own challenges and reaching the top is something to be very proud of. I wish you all much success in the future and thank you all for your time today! Keep it tight, keep it clean!
I LOVE watching James’ channel!!! I was tickled pick when I first saw you sitting at a table with James! I loved watching this-you guys are sooooo awesomely motivating!

Thank you Pan, James and mike! Im so inspired to keep my beginner’s level detailing side line to keep going. Thank you for sharing your passion and experience in the detailing industry! My passion as a nurse since 2008 taking care of patient’s life translates to how I take care to the cars I do, Hopefully my passion in detailing can make me more successful as being an employee. But I wont give up my nursing side will tend keep them both! Thanks for the video Sir Pan! Keep it up!

I started detailing my own car before and I just love doing it. I learned a tons of information from your channel and apply it on the cars I cleaned and its just fantastic.
Great interview Pan love hearing the journeys from these young guys I’ve always really respected full time detailers as I’m only a part timer I know how hard this industry is above all do a job that makes you happy and makes money 🙌🏻🇬🇧🙌🏻
Thanks Paul!! I agree, it's always nice to see the younger generation doing great things! Hopefully videos like this can further inspire others of all ages to pursue their dreams and passions.
Great insights. I've been a car guy since birth, and done almost everything in the business from detailing, mechanic, parts sales, along with flipping cars on the side. My favorite part of that was always the reconditioning. The sense of gratification is so high. I chased money running heavy equipment and driving truck the last few years until back to back shoulder surgeries (recovering from #2 now) made me reconsider my path. I decided it's now or never to be my own boss and do what I enjoy, if I'm going to put in those 60+ hour weeks I might as well do it for me. Thank you so much for all the great videos, I've been absorbing everything I can.
Yeah it was my childhood dream car. Lots of hard work to get to this point in my life. I made a special video to highlight the day Intook delivery at the dealership (my brother and girlfriend were there): ruclips.net/video/PRGShr2fj1Y/видео.html

Hi Pan, just watched your video, this is by far the best one I watched. I relate to your parents and mine alike nurturing me to goto university and work in that field. I did Biotechnology and worked in this industry. You've heard the saying, all that glitters is not gold, well that was it. I left that and went back to doing something that I really enjoy. I've watched lots of your videos and picked up lots of tips for a shiny new looking car. Thank you Dilesh
Thanks for sharing!! Indeed it seems we share a similar part of our life story Dilesh. Once you realize that it's better to do something you actually love, rather than just picking a job your parents would like you to do, life gets so much better. :) Now that my parents saw me become successful in my life, they are very happy for me.
Very motivational! I too come from an immigrant family, seen my parents struggle a lot when i was little. Finished high school and went straight to work. When i decided to start a towing & transportation company most people told me i was nuts and that it would fail. Been at it for a little over 10 yrs now. Make very good money, bought my house, and live a very comfortable life. I believe in will power and that if you set your mind to something, you can achieve it

nice conversation, running a business ain't easy especially in a big city or place that ain't so business friendly. Dealing with customers is not for everyone, many times you have to put your pride aside even if you are right. Another thing to consider is even if you are raking in 6 figures + you gotta reinvest a lot of that money right back in to the business to grow. To top it off if you will most likely pay/owe a lot more in taxes than someone with a typical 9-5 so that's something pretty important to consider ,
#TopClassDetail reminds me of a new competitive rapper sitting across from an OG saying I can rap better than you. Young man that is the right attitude to have. Excited to see part 2!! Pan you took that like a real OG, You overstood what his heart really ment. 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
I been detailing most of my life. My own cars. 5 years ago I started getting a lot of business friends asking me who does my vehicles. I told them I keep up my own cars. At the time I had classic cars a 1973 Corvette, a 1955 Ford Fairlawn, 19665 thunderbird, 1973 Chevy Camero, 1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1. I bought these cars new. I just love a nice car. I like them kept clean a like new. I got the mustang when I went in the military in 1971 I was a Nurse at the time. I retired fort time in 1991. In 1993 I was reactivated for Desert Storm. I left the US Navy again in 1995. I was a Lt Commander. I began my civilian job as a traveling Nurse, then worked for Hospice until 2018. I was tired of working. That's when I took my love of detailing seriously on the advice of family and friends. I had to learn about modern paints, what a clear coat was. How to care for the finishes. It's different then the old days. These coatings today are far superior then the old paints. I'm 68 and still work like I did 29 yrs ago. Always made a good living. I always believed, if your not doing something, you losing money. I have never been one to sit around. I can work and talk at the same time.
Great video pan good on those guys to overcome negativity and follow their dreams and becoming successful in all their endeavours keep up the great work 👍😊
Been working in outpatient pharmacies since I turned 18. It's a thankless job, but I enjoy helping people. I detail cars on the side. Mostly for people that can't afford to pay for a professional detail. So far I've detailed 6 cars this year. It's been a challenge since I'm trying to study for an IT certification so I can change careers. This will give me time and space to detail more cars. I don't think I can work a corporate job and not help people in return.
I have really enjoyed this episode I wish you all the best in the future 🤞👍.I remember about 15 years ago I used to be a gardener for my boss but one time he asked me to clean his wife Range Rover Sport.I cleaned the car inside and out polished it and cleaned did all the door rubbers and all the small details. The funny thing was he payed monthly a detailing company to clean the car when they picked up the car they were in disbelief and me what detaining company had cleaned the car and I said it was just me he was shocked. I wish that I had started my own detailing company sorry for being a bit of a bore.
Awesome video Pan 🙌 I take my hat off to these two young men and they deserve the success they have due to their commitment & dedication 👍 just like yourself , car detailing isn’t at all easy even when you know what your doing it’s a dedicated skill to do professionally and to start a business from scratch takes guts & a lot of hard work , respect to you all 😁👍

I have my detailing business started. I moved into a new town that doesn't seem to fully appreciate the quality of work that I offer I have some car washers in town that are charging $30-60 full in/outs. It's hard for me to not lower my pricing. Esp when they are busy with multiple cars a day and I do maybe 1 a month. Trying to keep grinding and building my biz up. Little by little. It's hard tho
Hi Dean. Don't give up, eventually if you work hard enough and put out good work, word will spread that you're doing good business and good work. In the meantime, perhaps reach out to a few local detailers near you and see if you can ask for advice and share your story, perhaps they'll see if you are doing something that needs to be readjusted. Pricing, time spent on a vehicle, etc.
Hi Pan, is CarPro Lift too strong to be used on weekly maintenance washes? I have a ceramic coating (Gtechniq crystal serum ultra). I know that professional grade ceramic coatings have strong chemical resistance. However, the Carpro website says that Lift has a PH of 12. I would love to use Lift for my maintenance washes if possible, but I just don't know if its too strong for weekly maintenance washes. Any thoughts?
It's hard to know the effects long term on coatings other than their own. For regular weekly washes, perhaps stick with a pH neutral snow foam like Koch Chemie Gsf, and then perhaps once a month use higher pH snow foams like Lift for heavier grime and traffic film removal.
Hey Pan I am from Toronto, I'd love to meet you in person, get my car ceramic coated and ask you a few things about if I should open up my garage from mobile service so far but I have no one to talk to. Everyone in my household is either a doctor or a dentist and I am the odd one. They do not understand. I would be happy to drive all the way to Montreal to meet you or have a conversation with you the way it is comfortable for you

Heck ya detailing is worth it. I worked construction for years and the best choice I ever made was starting my mobile business ! Thanks for the info and knowledge shared from
These young men and you Pan 👍
Thanks man!

@@PanTheOrganizer thanks for being my teacher Pan! I mean it.
@@WAHDEEDOWthe2 thanks wah. It means a lot to me. This world is harsh but I just have to triumph over it.
Thanks for sharing SK! Part 2 coming soon!
Great interview Pan. Hopefully, you will post Part Two. These two entrepreneurs are inspiring! Great stories behind their detailing vigor!
Yup, part 2 coming soon! :)

You can get two buckets and some microfibers and a bottle of car shampoo for less than 40$
If you have more than 40$ than that’s epic everything over that is a head start as far as I’m concerned lol
Thanks for sharing your story Troy. Where is your detailing business located?

I decided it's now or never to be my own boss and do what I enjoy, if I'm going to put in those 60+ hour weeks I might as well do it for me. lolol, you are a huge success for all the little people, hobbyists, workers, and business entrepreneurs, the two young men you interviewed are very driven and I applaud their ethic. Musta been a rough time butting heads with family.
Now that my parents saw me become successful in my life, they are very happy for me.
Huge respect to you Mike and James from Houston Tx. Great Content Pan!
Thanks!!
I believe in will power and that if you set your mind to something, you can achieve it
Well said Caio! Thanks for sharing! How did you discover my channel by the way?
Welcome to my channel. You discovered one of the biggest car detailing channels on RUclips as we surpassed 865,000 subscribers and we have almost 110 million views! I have been detailing for 25 years and I love to share my knowledge and passion with my viewers.
You found the right channel to help you learn everything about detailing.
@@PanTheOrganizer I’ve always loved detailing my cars, everyone in my neighborhood always compliments me and ask me how are my cars, and my tow truck so clean all the time! Lol well i enjoy doing it. Ive been thinking for quite some now about starting a second business, something just clicked to me like, why not do something you love. So i have been researching a lot lately and came across your channel, and really like all the content you put out. Haven’t started it yet, but its in the works. Biggest challenge im having tho is how to manage my time to start that and get it going, being that i own a towing business and that is a pretty full time job as well! Me and my nephew plan on doing it together as he is also in the detail business already and wants to go on his own with me so…. Its going to happen, where theres a will there a way, and ive never been the type of person to not go through with what i set out to do! Thanks for all the awesome videos. Its really been helping me get different perspectives of what this business is all about!
Pan is the man! Great video! Keep it going! I enjoyed this!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Hi Pan,Mike and James this was an awesome video and very inspiring. Thanks so much for sharing.
😁👍🏻
Truth ! I’m 42 and continue to learn even from the younger generation!
Never stop learning
I agree. I'm 41, and still to this day, after detailing for 25 years, I learn new things, test new products, learn new methods, update techniques, get to meet new and interesting people, etc. It makes detailing so much fun!
You guys are an inspiration and thank you so much for giving us newbies tips! Love it.
Thanks for watching!

@@PanTheOrganizer Some other topics I’m studying are conducting financial transacting as a business. For example taking payments electronically. I’m also trying to wrap my head around the idea of the government going completely digital on currency. Then there is telephone answering services, web building and services, marketing, and everything else.
You do a great job building your brand!
Impressive young men. Kudos to them for their ingenuity and drive. And thanks to you for introducing them to us.
Thanks John!
Yall really spark the fire of wanting to own my own detailing business the only basic things I have to start with is my pressure washer and my vaccum I also got my rags and drying towels. I don't have an extractor r a steamer.....

Zagorakis:Fantastic interview…

I love this, thanks Pan!👍
Thanks for the feedback! Part 2 coming soon. ;)
Vous avez ce que vous méritez , beaucoup de travail = beaucoup d argent et une satifaction personnel ! bravo les gars !
nice conversation, running a business ain't easy especially in a big city or place that ain't so business friendly.
Dealing with customers is not for everyone, many times you have to put your pride aside even if you are right.
Another thing to consider is even if you are raking in 6 figures + you gotta reinvest a lot of that money right back in to the business to grow. To top it off if you will most likely pay/owe a lot more in taxes than someone with a typical 9-5 so that's something pretty important to consider ,
👍🏻
#TopClassDetail reminds me of a new competitive rapper sitting across from an OG saying I can rap better than you. Young man that is the right attitude to have. Excited to see part 2!! Pan you took that like a real OG, You overstood what his heart really ment. 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
Heheheh thanks for watching Ricky!
Our boy James is good with the mic
Well done gentlemen!

Always great content...Thank You!!!
Thanks!
Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it
Great video pan good on those guys to overcome negativity and follow their dreams and becoming successful in all their endeavours keep up the great work 👍😊
Well said
Been working in outpatient pharmacies since I turned 18.
This was dope Pan. I knew about James but did not know about MJ.
😁👍🏻
Love this video!
Thank you!
No bore at all, it's always nice when my viewers share their stories! Thanks for watching David! Glad you enjoyed this. Part 2 coming soon!

@@PanTheOrganizer it’s hard to pick a favourite to be honest Pan 🤔 I enjoy the ones you do with your brother 👍 the short of you testing your Porsche launch made me chuckle because of your reaction also the turtle wax one where you reacted to the results of the 75th anniversary paste wax made me go and and purchase some haha! I didn't start making good money until a few years ago breaking the 6 figure mark. I will be 42 in a couple of weeks. I think these are doing a great job. Absorb the hate and use it to propel you even further.
I agree. Use the jealousy and hate and use it as fire and fuel to push even harder.
Hi I can’t find on your site who did you get to put your window tint on your Porsche thx 😎
I made a full video about it here: ruclips.net/video/jZDcj-OlJoo/видео.html

We need part 2 I'm trying to start my own thing in Chicago
Part 2 coming soon! Stay tuned. ;)
@@PanTheOrganizer thank you that sounds like an excellent plan. Thank you!
I would be happy to drive all the way to Montreal to meet you or have a conversation with you the way it is comfortable for you
Cant wait for Part 2
