    Other than getting the hose connector turned around (watch out for that one), the machine is simple to put together and use ruclips.net/user/postUgkxfQauTxLT0JLSvqkq10rD79TU4k0Vz8zP . And very nice, too. I'm surprised at the power-it's more than we'll ever need, and we've not even used the most powerful setting yet.I've cleaned off a dirty concrete porch to get it ready for sealing, started to clean siding, and I know this pressure washer will be terrific for cleaning tools this fall.The only issue we had is we had turned around the hose connector, and it leaked. Once it was on correctly, though, we had no problems with the connection. Just remember that the end with the green knob goes towards the hose. It's obvious now what we did wrong, but not necessarily obvious at the time.

    Nice set up and supplies. I have my own detail business too. You can cut down on miles per gallon by keeping 80% of your back up supplies at home if you have space. In my opinion you have too many chemicals & sprays and most are back up supplies. Bring what you use the most during the day & week and keep the other stuff at home. All the stuff adds weight and you will burn fuel quickly. I try to keep my back up supplies at home. By the way, your old video with your supplies that you showed got me motivated in getting my business & supplies. I'm like you, I got all my supplies, van and advertisement within a few months. I'm one that wants all my supplies before working on a job and want to make sure I'll have it on hand to be prepared. Thanks for your videos.

      do you need all those equipment to get started? geez a car...and lots of tools. i feel discouraged...

    • @scottroy1641
      @scottroy1641 Год назад +3

      @@jennym732 To get started, no. You should get started where you're at. I do like his set up and it helps me have a better idea of one way I could go. Though before you put that much resources in, including non tangible rss like time and effort, you should know that this is something you could wake up every morning and go do. Cleaning is not hard, but getting up and doing it everyday isn't for everyone. Also, to be good it can't "just be a job" or a "way to make money."
      Managing a business, either self employed or with employees, is also something more than just being able to do whatever that business does (in this case detailing cars). Being able to make a budget, which is a financial plan, and using it consistently is a very important skills to have.
      The basics needed to clean a car well can fit in the trunk of your car, assuming it's not full of stuff already. Don't forget to think outside the box and to look for solutions, not problems.
      Something you may want to Google is "dirt trap bucket gamma seal." For the dirt trap I would go with the one from Chimical Guys. The P&S Double Black Collection is a good place to start looking at chemicals you may want to use.

No one who is paying you their money wants to hear excuses about why you are late, or a no show, or don't have the proper equipment to do a job you claim you can accomplish. Thank you for setting a great example.

    I use my tornador with interior gloss also. Let all the windows down, gets into all the nooks and crannies. Makes ac vents look amazing. I do the top of the dash by hand to minimize haziness on the windshield.
    Takes a little under 2 minutes to gloss the whole car. Then I come with my rag and air in the same order so that the gloss has had enough time to dwell before i wipe it prematurely.
    I do this for basic interior. To the average person it looks amazing, but from time to time depending on the interior materials it can leave a slightly uneven shine, or the shine wont last as long as compared to hand applying. I find it works best on dodge/chrysler/jeep because their interiors soak up shine very well.
    Tornador also works well for pretreating seats, and ive cleaned spots from headliners using only the tornador and nothing else

    Is the air compressor worth getting? I add super clean to my foam cannon sometimes it works really good for me on extra dirty cars! Do you think you spent around 10k on everything without the sprinter van?

    I didn’t see a leaf blower. Good for getting excess water off before the final micro fiber drying. Battery powered or electric. Don’t use the gas ones, they are to loud and you could drip motor fluids from it onto your clients vehicle when reaching over them to dry them. Also wrap the tube end of the blower with a couple of micro fiber towels with some rubber bands or buy a piece of 1/4 inch foam from a fabric or craft store to use for scratch protection. Anything that gets close to the paint on a clients car increases potential for scratches. I know how I am about my own car. I really enjoyed the video. Thanks for the info I didn’t have. You got a subscribe.👍

    You need to try a rinseless wash like Optimum No Rinse or Mckees N-914. Wash a car with 2 gallons of water and hit the windows, wheels, interior hard surfaces etc. and much more.
