Dunno why, but I like blocks highlighting when you place your mouse over them more than the current "frame" cursor we have in modern MC. I think highlight just works better and the frame is often not visible with dark blocks such as obsidian.

Lethal Chicken I used fiddler and changed the jvm arguments in the launcher to a certain thing. A simpler way to get sounds to work in beta 1.7.3 is to use retrocraft.net and the jvm argument for that is listed on the front page I think. AlphaMod just patches it on its own

TheCommentor go in properties and turn off online mode off ( online = false ) Beta versions don't authenticate so you can only run cracked servers.
