The zombie villager texture was changed in 1.9 and then again in 1.14. The ugly zombie villager Tetra shows in this video was a pre-1.9 zombie villager

I actually know about a debug feature so extremely niche nobody ever knew or used it: it is possible to give blocks a shiny outline comparable to the glow effect, but on literal blocks, not entities!

Rubies were added, but to Minecraft Earth as a form of in-game currency. They use a different texture though.
The ruby texture is the texture that was going to be used instead of emeralds. They did not want people to mix up redstone and rubys so they just went with emeralds.

Most sounds at 15:00 really need to be introduced into the game again. Cause passive loud ambient sounds would really bring more immersion in the game.
This brings back so many memories. I remember playing with my brother on his xbox 360 and always going to villages to get the bookshelves for the enchanting table boost. I also remember the cow but not the cow hurt? Never heard the lava sound or the door sounds but I remember the water splash. The fall sounds are pretty weird and I have never heard them before but I wish we still had everything we once had in the newer versions of the game.

the hearts changed from being normal hearts to absorption hearts. I think the old hearts were regeneratable while the absorption hearts couldn't since its gone as soon as you get hit

The rabbit is still in the game but it cannot spawn without console commands. They were removed from normal spawning in 1.8. Also I don't think the glow effect on blocks similar to a glow effect is a thing. Unless you can provide the hotkeys that apparently make it happen. I've never seen it before, and it's not on the wiki.
When you opened the F3 info screen my eyes instinctively zoomed to the coordinates on the left since I always use those (along with subtitles) to find diamonds and lava. I mainly use subtitles for finding lava or underground water sources...
I use the F3 menu constantly for me coordinates alone, nevermind the ton of other useful info like biome, the block you're looking at and sometimes some of its data, etc.
I also use the subtitles for locating lava Also When I was on a server I was looking for lava, so I mined a block and walked through the space because it was in my way. My internet was bad so the block appeared and disappeared when I walked through the space. I xrayed for a brief moment and saw a pool of lava.

The "successful hit" sound actually is used in the game. It's something you'll only hear in multiplayer as it notes hitting a player with an arrow.
Thats coded in servers by the owners, not in every multiplayer server

Most sounds at 15:00 really need to be introduced into the game again. Cause passive loud ambient sounds would really bring more immersion in the game.
This brings back so many memories. I remember playing with my brother on his xbox 360 and always going to villages to get the bookshelves for the enchanting table boost. I also remember the cow but not the cow hurt? Never heard the lava sound or the door sounds but I remember the water splash. The fall sounds are pretty weird and I have never heard them before but I wish we still had everything we once had in the newer versions of the game.

The texture wasn't unused, the texture was deliberately put in the game's files to fuck with dataminers. notch knew people were datamining the .jar file to spoil updates so the skis were put in as a red herring.
The Debug Mode worldtype is left in public builds of Minecraft Java to easily allow resource pack creators to test textures.
Fun fact: The "Killer Bunny" mob was made as a reference to the movie "Monty Python & the Holy Grail".

I'm pretty sure they leave all the old versions and unused items and debug features on purpose for Minecraft content creators to make maps or texture packs or add-ons.

the hearts changed from being normal hearts to absorption hearts.
I think the old hearts were regeneratable while the absorption hearts couldn't since its gone as soon as you get hit

The killer bunny still is in the game as of 1.16.4. me and the bois found 2 on our completely vanilla smp, just has a 1/2500 change of spawning iirc. I think the wiki also tells u that
The rabbit is still in the game but it cannot spawn without console commands. They were removed from normal spawning in 1.8.
Also I don't think the glow effect on blocks similar to a glow effect is a thing. Unless you can provide the hotkeys that apparently make it happen. I've never seen it before, and it's not on the wiki.

When you opened the F3 info screen my eyes instinctively zoomed to the coordinates on the left since I always use those (along with subtitles) to find diamonds and lava.
I mainly use subtitles for finding lava or underground water sources...
I use the F3 menu constantly for me coordinates alone, nevermind the ton of other useful info like biome, the block you're looking at and sometimes some of its data, etc.
I also use the subtitles for locating lava
Also When I was on a server I was looking for lava, so I mined a block and walked through the space because it was in my way. My internet was bad so the block appeared and disappeared when I walked through the space. I xrayed for a brief moment and saw a pool of lava.
