Depends on what regularly is defined…I keep a Goldwing in my Cabin in Alaska…I ride it every summer(3 months out of the year)…average about 250-750 miles a season depending on the rain…change the oil, put the tires on mats, plug in the charger and there it sits…but…I consider it regularly ridden each year🤷♂️

Hayabusa!! Im doing a complete restomod on a 2001. No bolt left unturned. Stripped 6 paint jobs off the gas tank and ripped 20lb of aftermarket LEDs off of it. Its getting murdered out, super dark frame, treated block, jet black super gloss tank, rims, and fairings. Maybe burnt orange kanji and rim accents, IDK yet... maybe suzuki blue. Don't get me wrong, when it gets listed on ebay it will have a ridiculous reserve price, but it will basically be a brand new Busa with boost.
It's madness. I was looking recently (ended up getting a 2013 Yamaha YBR 125 custom for £900, good buy), there are so many listings which are basically "for sale: motorcycle" with one stock photo 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ be realistic
You'd be surprised. I have sold a few vehicles on Craigslist and at first I would make detailed descriptions with all the work Id done, known issues, and so on. I struggled for responses until I just cut the description down to a couple sentences "Runs and drives great, well maintained. Take a look!"
the aprilia rs 660 is from Next Ride. They're located near the St. Pete Airport. I was actually there Saturday doing demo rides. Seem pretty decent. Didn't pressure me to buy, but nice little store . They sell Moto Guzzi, Aprilia, and MV Agusta at the store. The owners also own a Ducati store on the eastern side of Tampa

5,000 miles on a 25yr old vehicle? Sus. How many engine components need to be replaced since it's not being driven. Sure, the plastics look mint. The seals, gaskets, etc. are probably all shot. I bet the first one needs a lot less maintenance, despite the battle scars.
My first bike cost me $10.00 Honda 100 cc. Not the CB I think it was SL or something. Gas was .27 cent's a gallon. Early 70s. Bought it at a police auction and road it for three years. Had to replace the idle jet because mine disappeared. Only problem I ever had with it.
I have a 1981 cb900c my dad bought new. I took it to shop for it's first time ever in 2008 to check the valves at 47,000 miles. Only one needed adjusting. 1973 cb350 was my first street bike. Had a 1966 106cc Sears branded bike I used as a dirt bike. Really wish I hadn't destroyed it.
I was always riding by myself. Jealous of groups doing rides together. So, I joined some group, but it was too big and I couldn't keep up. So, back to myself. 2years later, my man got a bike (too)! Now, I'm in the best group ride. And.. still able to ride by myself too. Worth the wait.

About twenty years ago, I went to buy an old, all black, Honda Aspencade. Pretty nice looking bike, considering the high miles it had on it. The guy let me take it on a test ride. Within a mile, I knew I was never buying it. The rear gear whine, sounded like a thousand screaming goats, trying to get out of the back of the rear gear case. I turned it around, drove it back to him, and just said thanks, but not buying today. I will never forget the awful sound and vibration that rear gear made.
I took a test ride on a 2005 gigster (lol) 750 the other day. I was hoping it might be something I could turn into a track bike. It was not very confidence inspiring in terms of handling or brakes but wow what an engine!

Finally got my first bike a week ago, had to get it transported halfway across the country though. It was still cheaper than most of the other bikes around Texas. 2014 Honda CB500F w/ 10k miles for $3300 and $650 for transportation 😁
it is a stock exhaust - my 2nd gen SV650S still has the stock exhaust, and I *LOVE* it. its so quiet! I have definitely noticed a difference in how car drivers react to me in traffic compared to how they react when I ride my CB1000 with the MAC 4into1 exhaust. I am truly invisible now - no cars trying to prevent me from splitting, no honks as I zip past cars, and I even get an occasional "whats up?" nod at traffic lights now.....and the bike is still light as a feather and quick af. Yam ain't kiddin' bout the SV, that is a STEAL

I would have almost no reservations about flying to Tampa from the opposite corner of the contiguous US, plunking down the money, and riding that first Goldwing back to the Northwest. Vehicles--especially motorcycles--don't wind up with over 100,000 miles on the odometer simply by happenstance. Although the ad is pretty vague, I wouldn't be surprised if the owner had a VERY detailed service history on the bike.
Any bike with less than a thousand miles and more than a few years old feels weird. The last one I got was 5 years old but only had 950 miles. It's like "why" and also thank you for taking a nice depreciqtion hit fpr the team.
I also look at the bigger picture - recently looked at a 2009 DR-Z 400 with 'only' 2200km (1300miles) - new front brake pads & sharp teeth on aftermarket sprockets told a different story
$8000 to $12000 for a Gen1 Busa seems crazy to me. I bought a 2019 Busa with 3000miles on it for $10,000. I wouldn’t pay no more than $5000 for a Gen 1. Unless it has a turbo and I get the work checked out. Then we can talk.

Me and Yammie just not having the same taste lol. Hayabusa are absolutely stunning bikes, one of the best looking superbikes to ever exist. Yeah its different, yeah its aerodynamic--those are good things. You see other bikes and at a glance struggle to even tell what they are, but when you see a Hayabusa--you know its a Hayabusa. Think you're letting the stigma from crappy riders effect your view on such an amazing machine.
My carport is clean because my tools live inside the double deadbolted utility room so the meth heads in my neighborhood are less likely steal them. Just saying sometiems there's a reason it looks clean. 🤷 Also I hate clutter in the background and will go out of my way on a sale photo to make sure there are no distractions in the image.
This patch proved that multipathing could be removed and the game would only get better. People are dodging fox 3’s pretty comfortably even without using multipathing, and are actually using altitude for range fights
Man, just can't go wrong w/ the SV. I bought mine for just over $1k less than the listing in the video, but mine, while clean, wasn't that clean. But man, a solid and fun bike like the SV for under $3k? I'll never sell it because honestly I couldn't even get what it's worth to me. The bike has a higher emotional value to me than the market value.
1000sx and gsx s are for us old farts that can't lean over to ride anymore but still want something stupid fast. Mine won't go 200, but it will get me to 90-100 almost as quick as an R1 and the 20-100 is what I care about. I can ride it all day after installing risers on it.

The worst thing for a goldwing is to let it sit. The one with 117k probably runs better than the one with only 5500.

1000sx and gsx s are for us old farts that can't lean over to ride anymore but still want something stupid fast. Mine won't go 200, but it will get me to 90-100 almost as quick as an R1 and the 20-100 is what I care about. I can ride it all day after installing risers on it.
