3 years ago you made a video called “is it worth it” where you suggested the danger of street riding is not worth the risk. Do you still feel this way?
The trike conversion is because the old man had a goldwing, but had to have knee surgery and figured this would be cheaper, and he'd keep all the goldwing features that he was used to without having to get a bike he didn't want. Now this old man has to sell it because he doesn't ride it that much and the wife wants both cars in the garage. It's weird, but if it allows him to ride I won't hate

Only reason I could think of for having a Trike is you have a disability with legs, or a balance problem and you just don't want to give up that bike riding feeling.
Yammie, My first motorbike was a yellow 1980 Honda Express. It was a hand me down from my cousin. I spent the summer of my 14th year riding it every day, and loved it. There was a new neighborhood adjacent to mine that had all the roads freshly laid, and I had a route laid out where you could pin the throttle and hold on for dear life, at 35mph. I also did several 20-30 mile tours. Show some respect, young man! Love the channel, btw keep it up.
I had a buddy whose dad loved riding and probably had a million miles in the saddle in his life. Towards the end he couldn’t manage a normal motorcycle so they bought him a Polaris reverse trike. Lit up like a little kid..
My dad bought two of those scooters you had on at the end back before I was born. We still have them and they run great. Since we live in Hawaii they are great for getting around on and so cheap to fill up and and get around on. They are also how I learned to work on motors.
The Honda trike doesn't hurt the spirit of a goldwing...they are two wheel cars anyhow. I can see it for someone older that may have issues holding up a large bike. Probably a dream on a long highway drive!
There's tons of Goldwing trikes out there with two wheels in the back, which is a lot less safe than Can-Am style/2 in front. I can totally see there are lots of reasons why someone would go from two wheels to three wheels so that they can stay in the wind. I would absolutely do the same and will absolutely do the same, if and when the time comes.
Love these. They always get me thinking: "Man, Yammie would have given the listing I bought my bike from about a 3/10" Seriously, though, I've learned a lot in the year I've owned this bike. I now love it, but it's been a cash and time sink. These videos are a great guideline to know what to be aware of when getting a new-used bike.
I would give him $500 for the Honda Express just for sentimental reasons. It was my first bike at age 13 that I learned to ride on, parked it neighbors garage who had a custom 750 Honda chopper. A rebuilt title only occurs when a bike is totaled and sold by the insurance company. The bike is rebuilt, the builder gets it inspected and on showing proof the vehicle has been rebuilt and deemed safe the state changes the salvage title to a rebuilt title. A vehicle with a salvage title is never street legal in Texas, and if you get caught driving a vehicle with a salvage title it'll get impounded faster than you can blink. They do NOT issue a salvage/rebuilt title if you buy your own bike back from the insurance company and fix it back up as a lot of people tend to do. I'm with you on all of these pics and ratings. Every time I see a trike I shake my head. The reverse trike (Can Am) could be fun but why do that to a Wing? There's a whole moped scene where most of any decent moped from the late 70's early 80's go for stupid money so even though I rode a Puch Maxi back in the day, we all looked down our noses at that Honda Express!
11:11 that bike could be totaled out later in life with that damage easily. A gas tank engine cover and plastic. Easily $3500. Probably more than the value of the bike. If he bought the bike back from the insurance company then the state he lives in made him place it as rebuilt because the insurance company totaled it. I see it a lot in my state.
ER6Ns and the better looking Fs are decent commuter bikes, but $3500 is way too much. In Britain ones that have had a spill can easily be had for under 1000 (pounds). I got my F for 540

I'm surprised how seldom the Kawasaki ER-6Ns appear in your videos. Perhaps they're not as widespread in the USA as they are in Europe. It looks much better after a 2012 facelift.
that er6n was most likely a forgotten bike, stuck into a shed and left. that would account for both the low mileage and the rebuilt title. the goldwing R18, fugly as heck...
Funny, I saw that Honda passport too lol. People ask STUPID money for junk in DFW. Been trying to find a parts car for months, and they are asking 4x more than I paid for my good running car in the first place (Frisco)....
The gold wing, and the trike thing. Well I see it two ways. Either you’re too afraid of two wheels. But, there are people that love to ride, and two wheels can be too much. Say older people, or someone with medical issues. (wheels in front are better than the wheels in the back) I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt and assume a person on a trike has to be on the trike more than wants to be on the trike. Two is better than three, but sometimes you got to do what you got to do if you want to ride.
The ER6N is best with 05-08 model as it was the best performance wise. The newer ones are more pleasurable to ride though, of course. However, if you are a short rider, and want something very cheap to run, insure, and have a ton of fun on those ER6N's are fantastic. I had an 08 model for my first "big bike" and was still going very strong with 60K miles on the clock, and I now ride a MT09, and being a short rider who is 5ft6 and wanting something cheaper to insure because I am done with all-weather riding (especially in the UK) I am actually going to revert back to one of these! But Yammie stands correct BY GOD THEY ARE UGLY! lol They are in desperate need of a headlight change, tail tidy with LED indicators put on, a long can exhaust because 1 they sound like a damn tractor and 2 they are just overly loud with stubby cans (with or without bafflers) that said, still a fantastic bike, very lightweight, very nimble, excellent city bikes and can do highway speeds no problem at all, they aren't slow by any means, but yeah they also aren't super quick but they do have a very good 0-60 on them, pretty much a cheaper version of a MT07 is the best way to sum these up but the insurance on a MT07 is more so it is preference if you want the better bike that costs more in every way or the almost as good bike that is a lot cheaper for arguably, practically, the same bike! With the same argument I am making the bike that goes hand in hand with my mindset is the SV650 so yeah the toss up between the ER6N and SV650!

Good luck trying to miss a pothole with the three legged gold wing.
Do you ship the bike's to UK🇬🇧
That 09 Kawasaki def has a new Speedometer, real miles probably 20k miles
That 2009 probably doesn’t have that low miles. Maybe the rebuilt engine does
Funny, I saw that Honda passport too lol. People ask STUPID money for junk in DFW. Been trying to find a parts car for months, and they are asking 4x more than I paid for my good running car in the first place (Frisco)....
Nothing like Joe Dirt reading cycle trader for fun.
It's a zx7 or zx9 . The year it's one of the two
The gold wing, and the trike thing.
That Honda at the end is worth more than $600 in parts alone cause all of that stuff is near impossible to find original.
the goldwing trike might be for disabled people imo
the 2002 green kawi looks like a zzr600
Damn I was hoping my bike was going to be on here
Maybe the guy with the green Ninja wanted to get a tattoo of his daughter 😅
That green ninja looks like a zzr600
That ninja for 6k is crazy , u can get a nice mt07 for less than that
