Love hearing her talk about the gatekeeping and the reactions from fans when they release something different from what fans expect from them. I'm one of those that love her clean vocals and enjoy their songs that employ both styles, and the harsh-only stuff isn't really for me but I love the variety they put out there and how uniquely they work inbetween those styles. Just love those guys and honestly, love that they exist inside but also outside of my wheelhouse.

Courtney's words about a band's sound and 'selling out' because they release melodic space over their 'real' sound is exactly the same that happened in my scene in 90's/Y2K's. Amazing how the same situation still happens (I'm sure actually across all music generations) with a fan's comments/concerns at large when a band is trying to find their path. Would like to note that the comparisons/experience that a band feels playing differing venues is a stark contrast to the fan experience. Especially now that ticket prices are out of control. I used to go to a ton of concerts when I was a teen and can no longer afford to. I actually skipped the last time Spiritbox came around because they were the first band up during Papa Roach/Shinedown and I couldn't afford a good seat for a half hour set. Even when I like all the bands I strongly prefer club and smaller venue shows because they are much more affordable but most importantly: they sound A LOT better than arenas that were made for sporting events. Arena sound quality is terribad. EDIT: Amphitheaters are, of course, a happy medium.

I was so proud I got to see them perform with Papa Roach and Shinedown. We miss them in Vegas and only got to see shine down but I was super proud to take my 5-year-old son to see them in Irvine California. It's always interesting to see the non-spirit box fans in the crowd reaction to Courtney scream for the first time. But we absolutely loved it Thank you guys looking forward to seeing a show

Fucking love this band. Legit already made it onto my list of favorite metal bands. I've got ultra violet on repeat right now. 10/10

I don't think I could put my finger on exactly how I can tell but it definitely makes sense that the songs all go together.

Love them! Definitely miss the shows where you have 5 or 6 bands playing...my favorite part of a concert is seeing the opening bands. I found out about so many good bands back in the late 90s early 2000s from that. I still do that now. Spiritbox f**king rules.

Seeing this after they released the Cobra remix with Meg Thee Stallion is amazing! They're cracking into the mainstream and metal as a whole too!!
