make sure there's no blocks touching the slime blocks at any point other than the terracotta & redstone block it worked fine for me once i cleared all of the stone touching the slime
for the people that have trouble with the middle bottom block, try removing the building block between the repeater under the slime block piston contraption and the redstone to the left (the grass block he doesnt break closest to the observer 1:52)
Yeah, observers made redstone so compact that repeater-only redstone is a joke nowadays. That was and still is the best feature Mojang has ever added to the game.

Bblocks is not a redstone expert considering the massive t-flip-flop he built and the fact he stole the design from Jeffery zhu and mumbo is but he overcomplicates most of his build which makes him not the best
1. This is not mumbos design, and mumbo isn't that good at redstone. 2. Every single farm on shulkercraft's channel is not their design, just stolen without asking for permission/ giving credit.

Your tutorial was very helpfull and simple! I have been able to use it on one of the minecraft server. My only critic is that at 2:03 , you can't use leaves because you can't place redstone repeater on leaves.
in mcb you can place blocks in air when bridging while that's a no in mcj, also there are superior redstone mechanics that don't work in bedrock but exist in java like 1-tick sticky piston

This is not the fastest 3x3 piston door, there are designs that open twice as fast (0.3s)!! Of course, with that speed comes higher complexity, so I guess this is a practical design for survival worlds.
At 0:26 , I am not able to put observer in tha same direction.. It is getting placed horizontally but u have placed vertically I have tried putting it from every angle possible but it's not working Pls help
the worst problem in these tutorials is that they only teach you how to do it in an open place, so you can close it later. I tried doing this inside a mountain breaking the stone around it and it didn't work, and I did everything like you did
It didn't work for me either, but you have to make sure the slime blocks don't touch anything other than the piston and the glazed terracotta, and I had to fix the button input. If you didn't figure it how to fix it, I can try to explain it for you.

The thumbnail didnt show the correct movement of the door, and more like a broken 3x3. The title also said "The Fastest 3x3 Door", while there are some 0.15 second opening 3x3 door. Even if he changed the title to "Fastest 63 Blocks 3x3", this door isnt the fastest 63 blocks ever exist. Second, wrong credit. This door was featured on Mumbo's video. At that time, Mumbo was showed by a person through twitter which then that person is credited on his video. He then corrected his mistake from the comments he got and credited the original creator, Jeffrey Zhu. Jeffrey Zhu's channel is on the video description. This is clearly BBlocks's fault since he didnt check the entire video before creating this. Jeffrey is the guy who should be credited for the door in the video. So he deserves more in this. If you dont believe me, it's up to you. But that fact i wrote up there is the truth. It didn't work for me either, but you have to make sure the slime blocks don't touch anything other than the piston and the glazed terracotta, and I had to fix the button input.

@Elyssa Gibbons Crafty got a point. He tried to tell what mistakes BBlocks made on this video, but he used an offensive word there. And yes, clickbait and creditting the wrong creator is 2 of the worse things ever in a redstone video.
First, clickbait. The thumbnail didnt show the correct movement of the door, and more like a broken 3x3. The title also said "The Fastest 3x3 Door", while there are some 0.15 second opening 3x3 door. Even if he changed the title to "Fastest 63 Blocks 3x3", this door isnt the fastest 63 blocks ever exist.
Second, wrong credit. This door was featured on Mumbo's video. At that time, Mumbo was showed by a person through twitter which then that person is credited on his video. He then corrected his mistake from the comments he got and credited the original creator, Jeffrey Zhu. Jeffrey Zhu's channel is on the video description. This is clearly BBlocks's fault since he didnt check the entire video before creating this. Jeffrey is the guy who should be credited for the door in the video. So he deserves more in this.
If you dont believe me, it's up to you. But that fact i wrote up there is the truth. Jeffrey deserves more credit and respect in this video, for being credited way too many times (this door is one of the most copied for a 3x3 tutorial, original door can be found here : ruclips.net/video/HZs6P8w4gMU/видео.html).
I just love the fact that how many tutorials i follow, it just does not work, and im completely fine with it.
