The ice door could work with armour stands equipped with frost walker boots, being moved around by water sources with light on specific places as not to freeze the path but instead the water below 🤓

@@loomnatinoscopers do you know how hot it is underground? I strongly doubt water in solid form can stay solid without protection in an environment like that.
Flapjackpants 23 I think it would be better to set a height limit for the water turn into ice then, instead of making it not turn into ice because there's no sunlight. It needs to hit a certain height to be inherently hot, some caves are really cold, like the Skaftafell Ice Cave in Iceland for example (I think an ice cave would be something interesting to see in minecraft).

Since a fence gate is a little bit higher than a regular block, if you put a block above it that is 2 blocks high you cannot go through it without opening the gate or crouching through it. You can connect a lever to the fence gates and open and close the door. It also works as a invisible door.

I don't think you can swap boots on an armor stand (but you can push it with water current). You can swap boots on a mob though.

Not sure, but frost walker doesn't affect flowing water and water that is not on the level under it, so it should be fine. Don't think FW works in a minecart though.

Water won't freeze if there's a block above it. This means that frozen lakes and rivers aren't frozen solid, they just end up with a frozen layer on top, just like real life. It also keeps underground water from freezing. But then it also means that shadows keep water liquid, which doesn't make sense.

The first attempt would probably work if you control the tnt falling. It falling to the side or backwards is probably the reason it stopped being reliable.

I made a trap where signs were hooked up to a block and caused a chain reaction when broken and released sand from the ceiling as well as lava. The unique turtle shape also prevents escaping easily.
