Absolutely fabulous video. Thanks for posting this. At 71 years old and a lifelong fan of all things Trek, these TOS era videos really hit home for me. Keep it up and I hope you have a Happy New Year! Live long and prosper 🖖
I love how the minor rendering error at 7:10 makes it look like the 1 painted on the Saladin’s shuttlebay doors is just bopping along to the video’s music 😂 TriAngulum makes such good music choices that even the textures just wanna vibe to it!
Great video as always, I've always been honest when I didn't feel when a story fitted a ship, I hope it was taken only as constructive criticism. This feel spot-on for me though. There's something charming about these TOS era ships, I still think the Miranda in the TOS style is one of the best looking out there. I hope you and all your subscribers had a great xmas and have a great new year.
In the ship of the line calendar series there was a post ENT pre TOS vessel called the USS Bonadventure. It it the engineering section had become a bulge along the center line of the saucer section with the residential areas occupying the port and starboard portions of the saucer. Ive often felt this design made great sense for for the design of the smaller starships, Captained by Lt commanders or simply Skippered by Full rank Lts.
WOnderful video :) Also that Dreadnought looking thing with the double stacked Nacels, what on earth is that? Never seen a ship with double stacked nacels before.
Don't know is it's the older I get I seem to like the tos era ships better the more I see them, or just as it was only the Constitution we got to see in the Original series I'm liking the new classes more and more. Only trouble with ST:O "well one of them anyways" far too shorter time in the TOS timeline, then getting shot into the future of war and "pew pew"
🖖😎👍Very nice looking ship, but it reminds me of an earlier design that has shorter struts and the nacelles that are upwards like the constitution class but I can't think of it's name at the moment and it is a Canon ship. Any ways a job well done and very well explained and informative indeed!,👌. And p.s. now I know what other ship I was thinking of the Bonaventure class...
I recently came across a, now defunct site, that put down their trek rpg game in a quite engaging story and became quite impressed with the design of the "hero" ship. A fan made design class called the "Starknight" class. The background info they provided for it was that the class was a successor to the Excelsior class. The few images there are do show that lineage but I, personally, can see some of the prometheus class in the saucer and some of the intriped in the secondary hull. It's most distinguishing feature is the oval shaped, horizontally-mounted, warp engine ring with one nub on the port and starboard sides for the bussard ramscoops. As I said, an impressive fan made design. To bad there are only four artist renditions (pics) of the ship.
Thanks! :) That's a hard one! Having done SOOOOO many Beta Canon starship designs choosing 1 is Very difficult... BUT Hmmmmmm I'd have to say... The Chariot or Enigma Class... Again having done so many starship classes back stories, Im at the point where different designs, that still make some sense, tickle my heart!
I dont really think it is personally... Though I think with ALL the Canon, Beta Canon and Fandom designed starship eventually they all start looking like each other! :P
But if they hurry up and create a freedom class I think we all know turret and rapid fire and gotta play STL Star trek legecy again but definitely a cannon ship but shure if other want beams but me turret I wanna up the freedom class cus STL freedom clearly cannon and won't fire from the aft

Your model work has improved so much with each video, and the lore is so rich. I just want to congratulate you on your stories.
Thank you so very much 😀

Thank you so much :)
Thank you very much for this nice video of the Perseus Class.
It's my pleasure :)
I always love seeing the fleet expanded upon
Me too!

I love this design:)
Yes, it's pretty neat-o :)
Thank you for the video & Happy New Years!
Happy new year! And you're very welcome :)
That was pretty. My favored Archer Class almost had a contender there.
Glad you enjoyed it ;)

I actually have this ship in STO, well the T6 version, but using it's skin. I absolutely love it.
So tos 2 duel cannon 1 turret and no beams? Or torp
Makes total sense as a border patrol ship.
I agree! :)
At this point, I feel like STO should hire you as a writer
Awwww well thank you so much :)

It's called the Atlas Class! I made a video on it :) ruclips.net/video/L7i76OBr8nE/видео.html&ab_channel=TriAngulumAudioStudios
@@TriAngulumAudioStudios Oooh! I missed that! Watching now :) Keep up the great videos!
Will do ;) And hope you enjoy :)
I think this is a star trek online ship but all ears to what to equip the ship with

Can you please do one on the uss protostar
Once I can obtain a good enough 3d Model sure!

You should take a look at the the Raven/Aerie class starship next please!!
Not bad.
If sto adds it I'd turn cannon to turret and try to make a turent damage ship
Looks very similar to the walker class just refit

If you had to write your favorite ships from beta canon into alpha canon, what ship would you choose and why? Nice video by the way.
Thanks! :)

@@TriAngulumAudioStudios I'll take your word for it.
Im not sure what that even means LOL... You asked my opinion, I gave it, the end!
@@TriAngulumAudioStudios Sorry, thank you for sharing with me.
No prob!
Whats that ?
A starship! :P
could you make a video on the archer class, If you haven't already... i might got memory loss ... MEMORY ALP- im being unfunny
LOL I already have :P ruclips.net/video/CHKLys1GWUg/видео.html&ab_channel=TriAngulumAudioStudios
Proto Centaur class....
Would call it the proto Miranda which the centaur is an evolution
Good video the ship is almost similar to the Ares class

Looks like a TOS Centaur!
Sort of, but not really ;)

Why does it look like the archer class
It really doesn't!
This is the pre-design for Centaur Class…🖖🏻
Actually it isn't... Just a design with some similar features :)
Couldn't the Constitution class already fire pretty powerful phaser bolts.
Kratos class, when?
There's no Kratos Class in Beta Canon as far as I can see...
Hope hera doesn't find out that zeus has been designing ships for star Fleet....
Ba doom tsssssssss
A lot of euses.
Another beautiful TOS ship.
