Bungie saving Pali with slideshot keep away/zen moment for when the player population drops off again. I guarantee once they get in a tough spot they gonna bust that bad boy out and everyone is gonna go crazy.
Or they bring back pali with old godroll QD/RF and have dogshit perks for everything else

my lunas sitting at 75 ae with the ae mod + icarus feels incredible in the air

S asf in its respective range it doesn't list to really anything in terms of pure lethality a .53 TTK is just madness
I agree with the whole spare rations ranking, cus I main it on controller (roll is full bore, Rico rounds, Slide, opening, w range mw) It's awesome with the 5/5 but that's is what holds it back is cus you gotta get the 5/5 for it to compete with other good guns. Good vid btw
Ngl Palindrome is without a doubt probably the CLEANEST Handcannon I’ve ever used. Mines still has rangefinder and I’m rocking a fat 83 Range and 68 stability
Exalted Truth is the underdog king! If you get Killing Wind , Encore procted (one kill), it's a triple 100 stat handcannon (100 range, stability, and handling!) Not to mention it also has kill clip in the second column, making it extremely easy to make follow up kills. it's so beautiful.

Rose is overrated. I've tried all suggested perks. Never goes where im aiming, ghost bullets, and never hits. Trash tier imo

Still watching but ima be booty hurt if lumina gets done dirty. Fucking love that gun! Feels great and running around with a perma 35% buff….oo baby. Lucky pants duel cannons.
Thorn is not just the best HC but maybe the best primary for worm lock. Thorn used to send 2 perched worms for every shot where every other HC is sending 1. Now it sends 4… peaking once can end people, you can shotty melee some resil with a single perched if you head shot, it’s strong when aggressive but also so good and mean if everything works when you play more slow and peak shot around a corner.
Dire promise is dogwater.
Kept confidence and better devils are actually really good.
Better devils required you to have a perfect 5/5 and be able to make up for everything wrong with it
I am still a Dire Promise main, I literally never switch from it and it costs me a lot of pain. It's just not good enough, yet it always makes me feel like thats my fault. If gaslighting was a weapon, it would be dire promise
Not forgotten is my go to. Second would be hawkmooon.
Crisis inverted is not f tier. Rapid Hit, Ecap on arc, and max range barrels is super good. The omolon trait is good too

Honestly, when it comes down to a weapon, its really all about which one sounds cooler when im firing it. Like i'd rather use a Loud lullaby then a fatebringer because of the sound, maybe thats just me though

If pali came back it'd have to clear Rose. I think its time it got dethroned. Best way I can see to do that is make it a stat monster

Pretty much all HCs kind suck on console. Bloom means that scouts and autos and shotguns way over perform in comparison. You're gonna have a rough time without max targeting mods and something cracked like Rose.

Great list, Hawkmoon is my favorite 140 with rose a close second with the enhanced movement speed and EP. I have the Austroraptor ornament and it's great for visibilty. It cuts down the wings on the side of the sight. I have a god roll Luna's with slide/PI and max range/ricochet, but I hate the damn recoil pattern on it. Maybe I should try to get used to it. I have the same roll on Rose as you with 70 range and slideshot/EP. It took forever to get that roll and it's the only god roll I have of it with Slideshot. I couldn't believe it when I got it from Shaxx, 99% of them I focused last season had crap range.
The 180 recoil on LH is crap, I hate 180's so even if it's great it still feels like crap so I never use it. Everyone likes something different.
Thought rangefinder does what it always did added 1m of range 🤷

I don't know man exalted truth is better than pali IMO they have similar stats and they both are victims of the rangefinder nerf but Truth has two solid origin traits and eye of the Storm
It probably depends on input they’re pretty close, Pali has more aim assist and stability so I think it feels better on controller but I will say they are pretty close now

Killing Wind on pali is actually good. It's by no means the most competitive perk, but I do think it's a very viable option for 6v6. It's a wonderful experience when you proc it. The pain in the ass for pali rn is having no decent choice for the second column. I do hope bungie brings it back and adds some new perks to it.

Idk if this counts but you have forgotten sunshot, its a 150 but its archetype is still the closest to a 140, also i wanted to see where it would be ranked since its my main hand cannon 😭😭
I didn’t forget but it excluded because it’s 150. I’d say on mnk it’s pretty high tier maybe A tier based on what I’ve seen but I dont play mnk so I couldn’t say exactly how high it could go but it is decent. For controller it’s pretty mid to low tier it just has too low of AA
@@Awake_wl i use it on controller and i currently have 4K crucible kills with it, i love it with its insane stats and the flinch can be really nice too, i 100% understand why ppl dislike using it tho with its super weird recoil pattern but i got used to it and its a dueling monster, only thing it lacks is range but still an amazing handcannon, also it being a 150 is just a nice cherry on top for the ttk
Can you do a quick movement guide for noobs like me ? Lol I play on max sense but my slide outs/re-peaks out of cover for the rechalls aren't as clean as yours

I got lucky enough to get a shiny 5/5 godroll Luna's. I wanna love it so bad, but there's just something funky about how it shoots as a 140. It doesn't feel like a 140 at all too. MNK player btw.
Personally if eaysluna and pali r in A then 99999% exalted truth is A too. Suros synergy destroys pali and eysluna just cuz of that origin trait imo. Basically a baby zen moment after a reload for 5 seconds and u can time it to basically be up for most gun fights. Just my personal take exalted truth gets so much slander and Im just lost. Totally get it tho it got power creeped and there r better hc’s. But if those r A tier then no question exalted belongs as well imo. 😂😂🎉🎉
what was the explosive payload nerf? couldnt find anything relevant on it when i looked it up
Also putting nation of beasts and kept confidence (or any weapon save for maybe lumina or better devils) under shit rations is insane to me. Id probably use cantata over spare rations. you rightfully put other guns down for not havnig great range but then put Spare "36 range" Rations in A tier. kept confidence has higher range than austringer, max handling, high AE and higher AA. Nation of beasts hits 82 with hammerforged. Maybe this is a MnK vs controller thing but they definitely dont belong under most of the A tier guns. Eyasluna fell off so hard after rangefinder nerf and palindrome has no good perk on it. Agree with the other tiers except maybe lunas howl because it has balls range, glorified killclip and covers your target when you shoot
They reduced the flinch it causes as well as how the range works because of the precision damage change. Basically your weapon used to have its range INCREASED by explosive payload, but now it is actually DECREASED with it
@@Awake_wl oh wow I didn't know about it decreasing range, I thought at worst it wouldn't buff it anymore. That sounds really bad then
@@uniball1700 yeah my understanding is that since they made precision damage do more and non precision do less, the EP counts as non so it nerfs the range now
@@cravingbanana6564 you do know that both slide and opening shot are only active for the first shot fired, so not the same 3 tap range, also the little handling difference doesn't matter since kept has quickdraw anyway
@@cravingbanana6564 kept confidence has deterministic recoil and feels fine to shoot. I'm aware of how good rose is but how are you comparing spare rations to rose?? They are in completely different worlds. Quickdraw maxes handling so that's a non factor and kept confidence has more stability. Saying I'm coping while defending spare rations in current year is wild

Austringer will always be the number one HC imo. Enhanced Zen Moment with EOTS is a crazy dueling roll on both inputs. Even Ace and payload HCs can't flinch it

The wallah not liking austringer thing is a mnk thing. Its shoots similarly to a 180 but not like a 180 if that makes sense? Idk to me its the only 140 that doesn't have the recoil to the sky like most 140s. Its also why he doesn't like using lunas as well but thats basically a 180. I mean visual recoil matters for some people its why i could never use ace it just feels like it goes to the sky. And its muzzle flash annoys me hawk is just the better one to me sonce it came out

Been searching for weeks for someone to do a handcannon tier list.
Been even focused on searching for “enhanced rose” videos.
Rose is now just a monster.
I run void titan and use an elemental capacitor rangefinder roll.
With polymer grip it his massive stats.
73 range
72 stability
77 handling.
It feels nearly as snappy as a snapshot roll but with extra zoom.
Hits 35 meters with full damage using DARCI to confirm.
I did a test with explosive payload and because of the damage split in the sandbox to correct it not 3-tapping last season, it experiences damage fall off sooner than a roll without explosive payload. I posted a video on my channel (not a self plug).
Over 3000 kills with a snapshot rangefinder dire promise, I'll never forget you my beloved.

I used to get tons of kills in pvp with controller but now it to damn hard I mainly do pve now cause I’m playing against MnK player I think and it not a chance I get kill even when I shot first
The new Sightline Survey with Precision Instrument can 3 tap with nothing needed at 180 rpm
I'm a big fan of Not Forgotten...surprised that didn't make the list.
it is precision frame on Luna's precision frames feel amazing on controller. head shots feel so free. Doesn't really matter for M+K.
As an mnk player lunas immediately drops to pondwater tier, it wouldnt matter if it had slideshot, opening shot, zen moment, and eye of the storm at the same time i can't stand the 180 recoil 😂
wish i had a rose with slideshot opening shot, but for now, judgement with both perks will do, just want a rose version cause the handling go buur

I’ll probably do another shotgun/sniper tier list next. I might look into the 180 hc as well but I’d probably need a lot of research because I don’t know as much about them

Pretty much agree with everything just exaulted truth would put in a with pali same stats and both mid perks. Austringer and Rose my jam. Prefer Austringer over everything though because of the no flinch and stability just easy mode in duels.

1 thing I don’t agree with is putting the Cantata in the C tier. It’s been one of my favorite hand cannon to use and you putting in in C hurt my heart 💔
Used to getting 20s or more kills on controller but now on MnK I get less than 15 kills usually
like two years ago i got a godroll annual skate and it carried me through trials. the roll was slideshot timed payload. still have a soft spot for that gun but my new rose godroll is my fav

I honestly can’t put fatebringer below palindrome. EP with EOTS makes fatebringer so much better. I still feel that EP is an amazing perk. I used to think EP was trash when it got the damage nerf but now after using it I realize it’s not a big difference than normal damage. I’d put fatebringer at top of A-mid/bottom of S.

I luv hand cannon play. But as a controller player, it is tough. This list helps a lot for a player that has limited time to play.

As a pve main, I love using the kept confidence in pvp. I run it with killing wind and eye of the storm and it is one of the best feeling hand cannons for me.

Great list, I am on MnK and Imo I would put hawk above luna. I play Icarus warlock and hit flying shots with it all the time but I guess the difference between mnk and controller would be the difference.

Zen moment does need to roll on more handcannons, it's legit a game changer for controller players. Austringer got me hooked on hand cannons because I crutch that perk. Hell the only reason I like my max range better devils is because zen carries it.
