Just made it to floor 90 today only to realize I never really learned how to fight king cerebrus. Lost spectacularly at the last moment and decided I could use some research to see how he works. Great guide
@@wonderguardstalker I think it defaults to 1 exceed bar. I think he's saying that you can try revving the sword manually during the taunt to give yourself 2 or 3 bars instantly.
So while trying to make a video about this thing with No Damage. I had the most amazing perfect run, super Stylish, all breakers used. Only to fail in the last freaking hit/second. Empty HP bar. Can't freaking believe it. Then twice more when he was near death by that stupid Ice from the ceiling attack which I hate more than anything else. And once from a weird glitch. I'll get him soon though, but seriously....
I have died a lot of time in the ice phase when the boss enters in devil trigger mode, it starts to make icicles to fall very quickly form above (not talking about the big ice chuncks]) I cant find a way to evade it and even with full heal it drains all my life in seconds. Any advice?=
How could i not think about it even though I've busted Artemis and Vergil when they comes flying... wait can we bust goliath too? I keep countering him with breakers and never tried out goliath. God bless this game.

In case you didnt know. The taunt at 10:11 can be exceeded to give you a max-act or an ex-act. Giving two to three bars of exceed instead of one.
He does it in the video

1 dislike is from king cerberus for destroying him like a BOSS good work
2 dislikes now, guess only 1 of the 3 heads is a sportsman
3 heads now they must be very upset
I usually go for the close up and personal method since I find it more fun. But I ALWAYS get cocky and get hit by the downward paw swipe lol

Run away from the ring of ice around him, you can't get hit if you're outside

I hate that icicle rain more than anything. Just when you think you’re on the verge of winning that thing deletes all your health in an instant
i just played, i had full hp, i got one shot and he was at 10% hp :)
Literally I just spam blue rose until he goes into ice mode, that's when I charge him because most of the time you are invincible during exceed combos

Nice. My biggest gripe with this boss is fire phase when he DTs. He keeps playing keepaway and doing charges. Makes it hard to get in melee combos.
Wait it out or use big dick energy to parry his charge with buster

Is that announcer are mod or the game already have and you have to unlock it?
Its not a mod. Its the style announcer pack from the deluxe edition. I dont think its unlockable in the base game.

If i remember correctly you need at least Stylish combo rank for a chance to get it.
Still random.
And you still have to time Exceed button during it.
