Brilliant video. At last an enthusiast who understands the fact that e-bike’s are heavy and the awareness of trying to get one onto a traditional stand. Thanks so much.
I got one, true you can’t work on the front wheel or fork but most of the time you’re working on the rear of the bike, I lube and clean my drivetrain on every ride, also it comes handy when you wash your bike. Good quality stand, not your full stand but a full stand for an ebike is going to cost you double the price. Thanks for the review Francis!
My dual suspension xc bike, weighs 24.5 lbs.........My Canyon e bike weighs 52 lbs. Its very noticeable. For a normal stand , the trick is to lift the e bike by the back wheel, its not too hard. It can be slid into the stand pretty easy like that. The EE stand, the bike is close to the ground, so your back on your knees working on the bike.
I have a Shimano EP8 equipped ebike and the scorpion stand works just fine with it. The Scorpion stand comes with different size sleeves to accommodate different crank holes so I use the smallest plastic sleeve and it fits perfectly
Muc-off's ebike drivetrain tool works wonders! Alternatively, you can just put a hex-wrench in (although they get stuck when you try to pull them out - PITA). With the drivetrain tool, I've had no problems running the chain backwards for lubing the chain.
Always appreciate your review videos! The Scorpion stand came with my 2021 Intense Tazer MX Pro e-MTB and as noted in other comments works fine with the Shimano EP8 motor. I do like the concept of the Enduro Engineering stand and seems to work well. I also use the low cost flip the bike over method too!
Super nice stand. Good idea too. I’m digging your ebike. Money is not bad. I bought a wheel chock I use as a stand, it was $80….so $150 for a actual stand for maintenance is doable for sure. Good video Sir
since i bought my 2022 orbea rise, i am now poor so i got creative on no longer buying anything expensive so i would like to share something that is now invaluable to me when i clean and lube my emthbike. velcro. yes velcro! i tie it up on the crankarm to the crank and while it is on a bike stand that you put the rear wheel in. simple and very inexpensive i should say. however... as always, thank you for all the video tips and new gadgetries you always present. i truly appreciate it and keep it coming. great work!
Hahahaha. I too ran out of money after purchasing my Levo last year and am also an avid promoter of the Velcro system. 😂😂. I do like this stand though so might start saving.
I converted a cheap light motorcycyle stand with bigger swivel wheels to lift the ebike under the swing arm. It's very easy to use but you cannot work on front wheel unless flip bike over. I usually have the front tire off because I can't fit the bike in the small suv with tire on.
@@EMTBReview Hey 👋 Appreciate ya, yes sir I ordered yesterday, they said have new shipment coming and will ship probably in couple of weeks. Thanks again and Blessings to ya 🙏
Francis, excellent review brother! That stand looks great, but the lube bottle concept even better. Hope you are doing well. Am sure you are still hammering. Hit me up if you get out to Maui Dave M. (mtbr emp no. 1:)
I noticed both Canyon shown here and the Enduro Engineering RUclips-featured Husky are factory bikes equipped with internal mid-drives. They have a relatively flat, curving bottom bracket would rest nicely on the pad with the rubber bumpers. Conversions using a BBSHD or CYC external motors would see these hang outside the BB next to and below it. Where these motor would rest on the pad are usually heatsink fins and they are irregular in shape and far from uniform. I wonder if the stand has been tested with these external mid-drives for stability.
Love the vid and this stand. Been waiting for the right time to pick one up, but looks like it went up to $175 in 3 mo. Maybe your promotion was so good that demand went way up!
Most bike work-stands are far from perfect for e-MTBs. Finding a place to place the mounting jaws can be tricky. The head on work-stands tends to slip if you try to swivel and lock the bike front up. Even though I have a new full sized work-stand I'm tempted to make a purchase. This bike stand is full of functionality and extra portable. I like the idea for using it to park my bike at home. This tool is not cheep, but appears to have great value.
What if I need to get the front wheel off the ground to service my fork or change my front tire? This is rather niched because it only lifts the rear wheel.
in a normal stand, you release the dropper and let the bike hang from the saddle. If you need it more secure, you can also make a small rail to lock in the front wheel but for most jobs it isn't necessary.
This doesn't fold at all. It does have some adjustability features though. Yes, kneeling or squating is required. A small stool is golden for usability.
@@EMTBReview look at the reviews online and beware sir. It has like 45 people having the same problem.. :S The guys far away from reynolds are screwed seems like it.. Good to know still
My Specialized Levo SL e-bike can accommodate a 8mm round rod through its bottom bracket. Unfortunately, the Scorpion stand comes with a 10mm round "stinger" rod.
Take the battery out first, then cover connector with a rag, then put splash guard back on,less stress on seatpost if using a normal bike stand But on this stand, you cannot spin the front wheel to wash it,so pretty us3less
Thanks for the review, very good. Your discount code no longer works, "...Gift Certificate is either invalid or the balance has been used up!" This as of 06-12-23
Just noticed that this will not work for bikes with front mudguard? Has anyone tried it. I have a Riese and Muller Charger 4. Too heavy to haul onto a usual stand. At first sight I thought this was good but looks like it will clash with my mudguard. I accept that presenter does state enduro (no mudguards).
Definitely not for front wheel maintenance. The good news is this covers 90% of the routine tasks and maintenance and it is so much more convenient than all other options out there.
I'd love to get this product but boy do they make it impossible to buy unless you are the the US. They sent me to a distributor, distributor told me they only sell to stores but gave me a few stores, called 4 stores, 1 called me back to tell me they have no idea how to get the product. I'm not going to spend more time trying to figure out how to spend my money.

Hey! Thanks for the videos. The coupon code isn’t working, Do you have a new one?

I don't even need a bike stand, but I appreciate a quality review as a bicycle enthusiast, nerd, and engineer.

do you have a photo of this setup? i too have a levo sl lol
This is one crazy design. Looks super cool though!

if your ep8 uses a shimano chainring you can use a t25 torx to lube/clean the chain
GENIUS IDEA 💡
Thanks, tried ordering but out of stock. Will try again and I’ll use your code.
Thanks again 🙏

Bro that last shirt is sweet! You need to go back and get the skull and bird of paradise one too!
Just pulled the trigger on this. Arrives early next week!

Thanks for this francis! I just ordered this stand! Looks very easy to use.
Hope you like it!
Belt drives and internal gearing are the future of e-bikes.
Put and allen key in the chain ring bolt and leave it there you can pedal it backwards to maintain the chain
Love the vid and this stand. Been waiting for the right time to pick one up, but looks like it went up to $175 in 3 mo. Maybe your promotion was so good that demand went way up!
Demand went up for sure. And they changed production lines for better consistency and volume.

Nice video. Thanks. Btw: 1:50 min ...I think connecting the crank arm (with a zip tie) to the chainring should fix that problem.
Looks like and excellent value. One question , will the Surron/Talaria ,Stealth Enduro model ebikes fit this stand??
What if I need to get the front wheel off the ground to service my fork or change my front tire? This is rather niched because it only lifts the rear wheel.
He mentioned that.

Looks wobbly. No way that thing doesnt fall over with lateral movement
Hi, have you tried on other ebike ? Like the heckler? Thanks
That looks sweet, I may need 1 or 2 👍
That looks a lot slicker than my 2 ropes from the ceiling with blakes hitches.
you need to show more, eg how compact when folded etc. The biggest problem with this stand is you have to do everything kneeling down
This doesn't fold at all. It does have some adjustability features though. Yes, kneeling or squating is required. A small stool is golden for usability.
good presentation 👏
thx
Does the front bracket fit 4" fat tires?
sir, one question... Have those Reynolds Wheels failed? The rear hub fails??
@@EMTBReview look at the reviews online and beware sir. It has like 45 people having the same problem.. :S The guys far away from reynolds are screwed seems like it..
Good to know still
Quality review, pertinent And crisp. Thanks
Hi this was uploaded in just 360p resolution FYI :)
So if I wanted to do some front end work, I’m screwed.
Not worth it for me.
My Specialized Levo SL e-bike can accommodate a 8mm round rod through its bottom bracket. Unfortunately, the Scorpion stand comes with a 10mm round "stinger" rod.
is it available for Italy? can I buy with shipping in Italy? thank you
Does not fold up like my work stand for RV travel but nice for stationary use at home.
Very true!
Will it fit fat bike tire. 4 - 4.5"
Take the battery out first, then cover connector with a rag, then put splash guard back on,less stress on seatpost if using a normal bike stand
But on this stand, you cannot spin the front wheel to wash it,so pretty us3less
Front wheel is not locked so just roll it halfway to clean if it’s very dirty.
Battery out lifting to stand, spraying, is far from ideal
Sorry to low for me. Great video!
All good. Thank you for stopping in!
This wont fit the smaller e-bikes. 20” wheels . It says this stand is only for 26, 27.5 and 29. I need a stand for our Ride1up protola e-bikes 🤦🏻♀️
what is the max load of the stand? I have a Juiced Bike Scorpion X and it near 100 pounds.
Thanks for the review, very good.
Your discount code no longer works, "...Gift Certificate is either invalid or the balance has been used up!" This as of 06-12-23
Let me check. Thank you for letting me know.
Very informative, Thank U.
You are most welcome.

Where and how can I get one from please message me I have two giant trance e3pro ebikes
the website and the discount coupon code are shown near the end of the video.
Won’t work for my Wife’s Specialized Vado…the full front fender is going to be an issue.
Kinda wished I had the $300CDN to get this. Super cool.
It’s not a new company they make parts and accessories for dirt bikes
Anyone try this on a 20” fat tire Ebike, like a Rad Power?
pinoy kaba paps?
Is that ebike stand $6 dollars
I think more than that.
Problem is you can only work on the rear tire not the front.
Definitely not for front wheel maintenance. The good news is this covers 90% of the routine tasks and maintenance and it is so much more convenient than all other options out there.
Yeah that's great now take your front wheel off to change your break pads.....guess you're gunna need another stand.
I'd love to get this product but boy do they make it impossible to buy unless you are the the US. Wow. Very good share. I'll talk to them and check.
The code longer works
Good video Frances, thank you
If you are on the chain side and pull the chain anti clockwise it will turn with out the wheel
Not with an e-bike
150 dollars is chump change when you consider what a mid to high end e-bike is selling for.
Indeed
Bipod bicycle stand . $30 . Your Welcome .
Almost $200 dollar stand and you can't even work on the front wheel. Hard pass.
It does what most want to do with emtbs very very well
Just go to any motorcycle shop and buy a stand after all you have an electric moped, stop calling them bicycles
Just get to the point
