They were the 3rd seed in 2016 with a roster thy would’ve been only rivaled by Lebron’s Cavs had Bosh not been forced to retire due to being diagnosed with blood clots.
That is 2 specific seasons where Spoelstra led his teams to fantastic regular season performances despite facing plenty of adversity and he nevet got recognized for any of it. When in reality, Spo has proven to be arguably a top 5 coach in the history of basketball. Definitely wanna see how Joe is going to respond in Game 3 to the style of defense If he doesn't adjust properly I'm legit gonna crash out. Keep up the good work bro

This defensive coverage taking down the middle of the floor, with sending help or having help just within reach is something that the Pelicans have used this season as well. The Heat played this to perfection though, which is impressive given their slightly less individual athleticism overall. They are all smart team defenders and I really am impressed by Jovic, he looks so much stronger in these isolations.
Even Herro, not someone known for his defense, works really well in this system and is way better than he is given credit for. (in addition to being a much better offensive player than people give him credit for) Bam was incredible as well, so flexible and multi-use on either side. This is probably the most versatile player in the league, except for his threepoint shooting (which has been coming along this season too)
Shooting so incredibly well from 3 is a bit of an outlier, although just like last year when they did this on several occasions, they are mostly just incredibly open.

I’m highly anticipating what Mazulla does for Game 3 to counter us; it’s too many isolations for a group of players who can create for others. This is another masterclass by the game’s best coach in Spo. Rozier isn’t going to miss the whole series and you never know with JB. I knew that Porzingis is a bad post up player, but flying aroud like a toy while Herro is guarding you is crazy. And what about Tatum and Brown? Of course there is the realy good zone d. but you have to go just a little to work in this post up situations, especially vs Herro. I am realy not like an "oldschool type of fan" but this drive and kick out playstyle sometimes feels like a little to much. It seems like today players are so much into it, that it is hard for them to change the style. I expect that a Tatum kills them in these post up missmatches. Imagine what Luka would do..
