This game was a beast in the arcade, some say its apart of the Heavy Barrel series but that's to be determined. Anyway Midnight Resistance biggest port flaw was the controls, the Arcade game had the 8 way twist action joystick for aiming the players gun while moving. this did not port well to the Genesis. I think if they would have captured that somehow this game would have been a much bigger home classic, as of now it is still one of the best sound tracks on the Genesis and this was also a pretty early released game too.

No, the C64 has a better version of the music than the Arcade. It also sounds less cheesy than the MD version, has better drum tracks, and is more driving than the MD version. Mind you, it's down to personal taste as to which of the two is better.

I don't have this one yet, but I'm curious as to how 2 BGM tracks spread across 8 stages, with a dedicated final level track. This is good stuff, but it seems a bit light on content. Did they alternate the songs between stages?
@@komocode I also have the Model 1 and I have it connected to a stereo receiver with two speakers and a subwoofer and it sounds kinda the same. Maybe this sound more "muffled" and when I play it through my set up it sounds cleaner but still with that Mega Drive/Genesis low-end. One of my favorites to test out my sound system is Biohazard Battle. Sounds fantastic!
