This Lore of the Dragons is blowing my mind Sky High!!! I honestly prefer the old design of Malefor in the Skylander Comics. They gave him some sick-looking undead armor and made his design look similar to his original version. I have no idea why they decided to butcher his looks in the show, he looks nothing like the original. Also, for my Skylanders Dragon, they would be of the undead element. However, unlike Cynder, they would be a living ghost with their bones hovering inside their ghoulish body, and their skull would be wearing an undead helmet that conceals most of their features. I'll be drawing them out, I'll share it later. 👀
never thought of this.... but here goes. Raptor was born of death's love of life, quite literally in fact. his mother was of the undead element and his father was of the life, giving him the unusual power to heal others. he didn't let his brown and red Malefor look stop him from doing good however, he is truly a black sheep among the undead element with the powers to heal and attack. he can be paid in pizza for information, truly Raptor is a strange, strange little undead dragon.... though yes he thinks his orange glowing eyes make it look like he's a jack o'lantern.
Probably like the Being of Dark and Light in TLOS which Jared confirmed, it is likely the Ancients or someone or many older created the individual Elements for many types of Dragons and like Avatar, they will inherent an Element or in some cases, none like Sokka who is ironically alot like Drobot but who knows.
My favorite skylander is flashwing and wirhwind. I like the dragons that can fly and idk how it makes sense that a Phoenix dragon can't fly he's like the only one with wings that doesn't fly. Would be higher on my list I like his fire abilities would be sick to fly around.
I never got into Skylanders myself so not thought about what my spyrosona would be like there but but my Dragon Ren* Is a mainly green dragon with purple accents & Harlequin esque horns, He's nomadic as he likes to see all the realms & he wears a bandana round his neck, so I'd perhapse go undead type because when it comes to powers I often choose teleportation or phasing through solid objects so my undead abilities would probably revolve around the idea of being a ghost like dragon maybe a sort of will O' Wisp type motif
My dragon would be of the water element and grew up in the moonfall pools, an area blessed with high quantities of the magic, life, and water elements. The dragons that live there are very accomplish scholars and mystics whom more often than not specialize in the flow of energy, observation and perception, and celestial orientation. With their crescent wings these dragons are able to insert themselves into a device called the celestial observation deck or just the night observatory for short, this device allows the moonfall dragons to observe and calculate the orientation of countless celestial objects in the skies of the Skylands and various other dimensions as well as the general orientation of the Skylands itself. This makes the dragons of the moonfall pools surperb cartographers. This focus on energy flow and celestial orientation is why they also have the spirit gate that connects to other realities so that their stars can be observed. They are also responsible for transporting the life element enriched waters to the cloud factories so that life giving rain can be consistently produced. My dragon isn't all that different in comparison to her peers though her source of study is on the flow and interactions of fluids and currents as well as reflections. Lately she has included the interaction of plant life to her studies and how they relate to currents and reflections and therefore rounding out her knowledge base. In combat she makes use of environmental factors such as wind and water currents, surrounding plant life, and reflections to befuddle her foes and render them vulnerable to counter attacks and their own actions. I think Alloe would be a good name for her.
i think the 'dragon have this element bc they grew on this element' is not entierly true bc drobot as grew within a tribe of dragon but he is the onely one that prefer making ingenery over fighting but also, tech and magic are two clevers elements so it might be true for the 8 others elements also flashwing (earth) come from the sky (i think sky is air) but it is saved by the fact that bash (earth) wiched for her so the widh grew in bash(earth) and was just realeesed bc of the star
If you see this could you possibly do a lore video regarding Sunburn I've always wondered if there is more lore to his character seeing as he is part Phoenix
Not 100% related to the video but I actually have my own au/idea that flavious from dragon's peak is actually a younger ignitus and terador is son or a descent of king ramses Of course it's not cannon but it's just a fun idea
Skylanders is the universe I am most familiar with lore wise, so I am happy you are covering it more

I know next to nothing about Skylanders so this was extremely informative. Presentation was great too as always. Thank you

Yeah I’ll make myself a note to bring that up at some point :)
Can you make a lore about Skylanders Sparx? It’s okay if the lore of Skylanders Academy dragons is made too.
Unfortunately, little is known about Sparx in Skylanders as he is a Magic Item in that game.
