Explore the inside of our 1986 Dodge B250 Xplorer XtraVan, Stan, that was converted in the 80's. We've been living in him for a few years now & are excited to start this adventure on RUclips! I am a disabled senior that travels for suicide awareness since losing my son Jeff in 2016, in my wheelchair modified 2010 dodge grand caravan with my four Chihuahuas. I have a wire cubby in the Hatch area for storage. I also have a platform bed with some storage space underneath. I have kept the smaller section of the backseat as well as the two front seats for when my grandchildren travel with me. The rest of the floor space is taken up by my power chair. I am by no means a minimalist and definitely travel with too much stuff. And I still have more stuff for camping and emergency gear at home outside Palestine TX, for the day I can score a larger rig. Unfortunately, due to the wheelchair modification, I cannot have a rear hitch for a tiny trailer or even a storage box on the back, and being in a wheelchair it is hard to access anything on the roof. But I do have 2 100 watt solar panels and a roof box up top (for when other people travel with me). As well as a Bluetti EB70 n EB3a solar generators n a 100 watt Yargo portable solar panel. My dream vehicle is a short wheelchair Bus conversion with plenty of storage space! Safe Travels & Enjoy YOUR Journey

Hey Y’all! I have the same van except mine is a 1989, but, I don’t have a back door 😩😡…just a window I can kick out in case of an emergency. I bought mine not having been used for eight years and so far I’ve had it mechanically and electrically fixed, new front end and alignment, new tires all around, new heavy duty Monroe shocks, new A/C system, new stereo, new title, new insurance with Good Sam’s, new house battery…whew! I have a mobile RV tech guy coming to my house 11/8/22 to fix everything in and to do with the living quarters. I’ve got an EcoFlow 3600 watt solar generator, 80qt freezer/cooler, a new 72” lounge chair/bed futon, and a few other things to install before I hit the road soon. After being an OTR cross country truck driver for 38 years it’s been very hard for me being stationary since I retired in 2015 to say the least! I guess I was born with nomadic blood! Great video! It’s good to see those vintage vans still in use . Nice build too . Looks very homey & cozy . The good thing your able to park in a normal parking spot. & have home on wheels .

We’ve only had 2 mouse issues. One was in California in the desert. It ran up the tire and up under the hood, I opened the hood and it ate a vacuum line then ran out. The other was while doing the restoration on Stan, we accidentally left a hole open on the floor of the van while he was completely gutted, I left some taco seasoning in a drawer, we found that babies and a momma mouse made its way in but they all died due to lack of a way out and the heat. The hole has been covered since.

Does anybody see the humor in this video? The wasp swat at 13:00-13:05 is too funny. She's showing us that she drinks outta a jug in this dilapidated shit hole van, extolling the advantages of basically being homeless. Then this wasp attacks her and she's trying to swish it away like it's no big deal.
Stan isn’t a shit hole (anymore) lol I’ll make a new video of a new tour of him fully restored. I wasn’t homeless, I had a tent behind the van we’re restoring. I just like to make funny videos of my adventurous life. Making mini movies of my life and documenting the journey is my passion.

Yes, this is my first video editing and creating, my apologies for the issues. The other videos that are most recent are way much better quality, audio, and better editing.
