Wait, every roster? This is definitely going to be my favorite series from you I can tell. I rarely play and don't know in depth mechanics so I'm always seeking for this type of guide videos.
I really wish you could choose to not learn a new move like in the main games! I would 100% keep electroweb. It would be cool if you could just get electroweb+
but you would have one option which is very similar to the base move with a lower cool down. Doesnt volt tackle basically do the same thing with lower cooldown and additional damage? This is true with every pokemon actually you have an "upgraded" equivalent move for any base move
@@MrAniks222 but with electroweb you could also attack the enemies while they are cc'ed while with volt tackle you and your enemy both cant do anything
amazing! guides like this are so important for new players! theres a lot of content around guides for pokemon who get buffed or who are in the current meta but i think it's good for new players to have general guides like these for different pokemon when they start to research the game, especially with how difficult soloq can be with new players unknowingly griefing the game (not their fault but still frustrating!)
I used to never play pikachu until that pika party quick match showed me how good it is. I pretty much always go thunder/bolt with muscle band, choice specs, and energy amp. Also I’ve been running my mew emblem page which is the second tier green and black and first tier yellow and purple and adds 112 movement speed and a silver mewtwo which adds extra cool down. Like mew, pika is fast and having that +4% movement speed is really good for moving around the map.
Spragels this is absolutely incredible. Thank you for doing this. Already learned so much watching you Krashy and Crisheroes play and do tutorials. Keep up the great work!!!
Jake, I’d love to see a series for new players where you talk about generic strategy in the game (or in mobas in general). Things like understanding every role, positioning, playing in advantage or disavantage, etc.
This is a really fun series. Like I said in the stream, this would be very useful. I expected nothing less from an awesome RUclipsr. Would like to see gengar next
This is really the kind of content I love to see from this channel! I'd love to see a guide for a 'mon like Blastoise just to shore up my weak points on my main.
Absolutely Love this its hard to find good guides for the pokemon with actual videos and explanations. This will be huge in helping to learn and master new pokemon. Especially some of the more difficult play styles when you do not know the most effective way to use a pokemon and their move sets. Something you can add would be mentioning the pokemon achievements and how to get them... some are difficult and do not make it very clear how to accomplish I AM SO EXCITED FOR NEW INSTALLMENTS
This is the build that I always play with pika and makes it insanely strong: Energy Amp, muscle band, choice specs, 7 black/6 green emblems, thunderbolt + thunder.
So I’m just now picking up pikachu. My mains are getting nerfed into oblivion haha. The guide is very helpful and informative! Can’t wait to try pikachu again with all the new info
You mentioned all of the moves having good synergy and I feel like Thunder + Volt Tackle has some good single target/carry potential compared to other builds but idk 🤔 I’ve always found Pika a bit tough but this guide helped a lot with breaking down the character in my brain, would love to see more of these!! Maybe Azu would be good for next episode considering the recent buffs
Azu is really fun, I have had a lot of success with him even before his buff, a build focusing around Whirlpool/Play Rough and then Aqua Tail/Water Pulse would be very nice
Great video. I know Pikachu's shield is weak, but he (and all cast-style pokemon) has a great benefit in playing conservative, keeping the shield longer and defending goals in a smart way.
I normally use Thunder and Thunderbolt because of the range. I won't use Pikachu that much but when I do use him, I managed to catch some op mons, destroy them and brought my team some Ws.
I agree, doing the free starters are best idea for the masses. But I have really been enjoying Mamo this season. I would like to know if there are any hidden mechanics that I have not found yet.
I've been loving support Pikachu with white and yellow emblems. Sticking with a melee dps mon to land that volt tackle stun and watching the foe get shredded will never be not funny
Love this vid! I have a few friends starting to get into unite so these will be really helpful. Speaking of new players, do you think you would ever make a guide for what Pokémon to try based on compatible play style? I have some friends who play casually and don't buy gems, so unlocking the whole roster will take a long time. Dunno if anyone has ever made a "if you like playing as this Pokémon, try this one" type video?
I play casually and don't care much about ranked games,my main pokemon is every pokemon because i want to be better with every pokemon in the game so that's why i don't have a main, what held items would you recommend for pikachu, please if you could help me,i'm trying to find the best held items but is difficulty
May you talk about matchups too? Who can Pikachu shut down the most, who is he strongest against? Who does Pikachu struggle against, and why? I see a lot of guides for newer players, or players who are new to a certain character, never go over matchups. They talk about the Pokémon’s moves, held items, battle item, and often show games of the character in battle. But they never really explain things like zoning tactics, matchups, or even MOBA terminology (gank, cheese, zoning, etc.).
The game also doesn’t really talk about roles very well. For example, Pikachu is a supportive attacker. He provides stuns for his team, while also dishing out decent poke damage from a distance. Thunderbolt + Thunder is the mage moveset, turning Pikachu into a back liner. His jobs are to bush check by using thunder, hit multiple targets with stuns, and influence the movement of enemies. Whereas a Pokémon like Greninja is an assassin attacker. Greninja doesn’t have stuns to support his team like Pikachu does. Instead, his job is to eliminate any enemy that’s on low hp using moves like Smokescreen and Surf. Greninja’s auto attacks are more damage heavy, while Pikachu’s aren’t really meant for dishing out a lot of damage- they’re meant to slow the enemy instead. I think info like this would help players understand the playstyle of the individual characters more. You can’t play Pikachu like he’s Greninja. Yes, they both have the attacker role, but they’re different types of attackers.
I find thunder+volt tackle work better for me. It secure q lot of damage on a single target. The other stun move is a bit harder to aim when in a fight.
I don't get it, why won't you use choice specs and wise glasses together to get even more damage from its sp. atk moves? While using a Muscle Band is really considerable, as it focuses on normal attacks, which is not Pikachu's strong side, so I'd rather stay away from this item. Can anyone explain, why I shouldn't? The item I use in my build is Slick Spoon though, it gives me that extra sp. defense wreck ability, so I can go take out tanks. Any comments on this?
Pikachu should make gap between opponents because it is potentially weak in the late games. However, it is really good to deal with speed pokemons because of the volt tackle. Not dodrio btw agility is nuts
I learned this from Genshin Impact that Crit dmg is better.. so does amplifier, buddy barrier works for Razor Claw. since Razor claw has both Dmg and Crit or Float stone.. my emblem is also 0.6% crit dmg with 60 Hp -10 deffense.......
Yes! However, Unite is not available on pc, it is Nintendo Switch and mobile exclusive. Both console and mobile players can match with and against each other. :)
Doesn’t Pikachu’s unite hits every enemy in its radius, not just one? I could be wrong but I mained Pikachu for a while and I could have sworn it hits multiple.
Really nice series, please do one for emblems too. My fav pikachu build is Choice Spec+Shell bell+Energy Amp with 7 Black, 6 Green emblem. Just spam moves again and again 😂.
Pikachu should never fight alone, he's too fragile so I give him more defense. I usually go with an emblem build of 6 blue, 5 black, 4 green and 2 white. (+ 180 HP or so) And for held items: Sp.Attack specs, Choice Specs and Score shield. Basically I try to stack 6 times and attack enemies from afar with my teammates, and when fighting Charizard, you can parry his unite move if you use yours before he grabs you, because, you're invulnerable at the start of your Unite move. also X Speed is great for Pika. Also at 14:45 you can hit both Bunnelby with Thundershock if you don't hit them with your basic attack first.
Can you please make a video of how horrendous the bot system is? I mean if you get put into a bot game you can't try or you'll lose. As soon as you start doing good personally the enemy team starts playing like Master rank NPC's and your team starts playing like 1 year olds literally running in circles. I just lost a game where I was 1v4 the enemy team on bottom lane, and 3 of my teammates were in front of Regeleki, with no enemies around, and just ran in circles and didn't even try to attack him. Losing rank because of this is completely unfair and Ron's of people are going to quit because of it.
Let me know what Pokemon you would like to see next! Working on guides for the whole roster!
Charizard!
Crustle in both RNG crit x scissor and unkillable tank with stealth rocks.
Maybe Charizard or any 6K licenses.
You should start with all the starters and other free mons
Would love to see a Tyranitar guide!
Wait, every roster? This is definitely going to be my favorite series from you I can tell. I rarely play and don't know in depth mechanics so I'm always seeking for this type of guide videos.
More to come!
yes now I am eagerly waiting for garchomp 😁
@@spragels not to bother spam you but if you can also breakdown abilities of pokemon thatd be really appreciated!! Love your vids

Same!

Glad you like them!

Dude, This game is your JAM. And rock that JAM.
I’m a Pikachu and Dotrio main, and I really enjoyed this guide! Guides like these will really help a lot of players in the Pokémon Unite community. :)
Glad you enjoyed!
Hello fellow genwunner
I love this format of video! Very informative and fun to watch, keep up the amazing work.
Thanks so much!

Lucario, Dodrio, or Aegislash would be some of the best for guides on how to play them. Some of the hardest Pokemon to master in the game
this is super helpful! thanks for this and i cant wait to see more!
This is the build that I always play with pika and makes it insanely strong: Energy Amp, muscle band, choice specs, 7 black/6 green emblems, thunderbolt + thunder.
Absolutely LOVE this series! Thanks again!
I'm impressed with how calm you remain and how you can commentate while playing. I feel like I'd be yelling and cursing a lot lol
Love this style of guide

Thunder and volt tackle is good for dmg but it kinda lacks the burst dmg
I'm really vibing with the regional posters in your background! Those are awesome!
What's cool about Pikachu is that all of it's moveset are pretty comparable to each other so you can't go wrong with either move.
bro love you..!! Lov all your videos... You are amazing
Thank you so much 😀
Great Idea!! i absolutely love this format. Can't wait for the rest of the roster!
I love this format already! ❤
As a former Pikachu OTP this makes me happy
koooooookie
This might be the best content in this channel! Hope to see Delphox's guide.
I was the mew on ur team in the electro ball build part haha, sorry for leaving u alone in lane, I just swapped to a stacking build 🫡
yea i think you should do a greninja guide next
Thank u for these! Player base seems lost atm. Videos like this and Louches latest ones are S tier! Yehaww my friend
nice background! maybe you can give a guide on eldegoss? the OG god tier doesn't get too much love these days
Sure thing!
Wow great job. You really poured over every minutia you could have. Good video for players of any skill. ❤️
This is a genious series, it gets you a lot of views and will help SOOOOO many new player, everyone wins!
Great video.

I love this video! I’d love to see one on Dragonite next!
Thnx Soo ❤️ much spragels ❤️ this is an amazing vid today bcz I just started play and my main pokemon is pika Soo thanks 👍 for that

I've been loving support Pikachu with white and yellow emblems. Sticking with a melee dps mon to land that volt tackle stun and watching the foe get shredded will never be not funny
I'm excited for this series
My favorite build currently is Thunderbolt/Electro ball. Thunderbolt for stun and Electroball for tracking big damage
I just had a Pikachu that spammed thanks and watch out and was level 9 at ray and of course I see this in my home page
Excellent guide. Pikachu is my main.. love ❤️
shell bell / energy emplifier / buddy barrier with 7 black emblems for maximal cooldown reduction and unite move bonuses

Whoa what a great series
Do Greninja next please!!
yeah defo need one on the ninja
I've never seen the holiday skin in a match, it is so cute :)
Volt tackle with thunder is a much better combo imo. The slow and the secured stun is awesome.
hey spragels, could you add a “how to counter pokemon” in the future vids? Esp absol

Bro I just bought pickachu and got 26 K.Os and 162,000 damage first match and scored 320 goals this electro ball build is so OP
Just seeing a 40 minute video guide made me think this was gonna be a parody lol
i wanna see a Buzzwole guide!!! Yeehaw
I'm really struggling with dragonite. I want to learn it. It would be awesome to have a guide on that.
Honestly the last 15 ranked games iv played there has been a Pikachu on either team
This was amazing. Can we see one with gardevoir?
I would like to see more of these. Maybe blastoise next?
electroball volt tackle is like pressing a ton of buttons to do no damage ..
Do mobile players play in same server as pc players like can they be matched?
Also thanks now i can just shred Mr. Mime
yes everyone can match together
@@spragels thanks also which is advisable to use in soloq carry Allrounder speedster or attacker?
Pokemon Unite is a cross platform
Yes! However, Unite is not available on pc, it is Nintendo Switch and mobile exclusive.

do more of these in depth guides plz sir
What's the name of the lofi song playing in the background? :DDDD
more of that !
Would like to see a good Trev build w/out stacking
9:32 jesus😂
Yehawwww
🤠
Why did Scyther evolve at 16:30?
Can you do a greninja guide next, i'm a greninja main and I would to improve on playimg with greninja
Doesn’t Pikachu’s unite hits every enemy in its radius, not just one? I could be wrong but I mained Pikachu for a while and I could have sworn it hits multiple.
hes always a decent pick
really strong early

I’d like to see a supporter like Blissey next. Not gonna happen though
Try thunder volt tackle. Feels weird but it works somehow
Got a vid of it up my my channel
I used this same pikachu build I used senses I started
Yeehaw
yeeeeeehaw
How did he know that the enemy Charizard got it's Unite move up? Did I miss a core sign that shows that the whole time ^^'
15:33 weird how you dont call it Tree.
It’s a hard (but squishy) life for a pika main
Pikachu should never fight alone, he's too fragile so I give him more defense.
I usually go with an emblem build of
6 blue, 5 black, 4 green and 2 white. (+ 180 HP or so)

The next pokemon build Espeon / Sylveon
Machamp!!!
nice
I feel so bad for Snorlax..
I think Pikachu should ALWAYS have a score shield.
if you could do this for the recent pokemon
Do an Eldegoss video. Make him tier S. :3
