Update! A homeless navy veteran , Eric Bryan Brown, was charged with Ashanti’s murder. He worked at the base where Ashanti lived and frequently visited her at work. He was waiting for her the day she disappeared and took her and drove her car. He drove all the way to the church because Brown grew up near the church. He was seen leaving her car in the cul-de-sac and dumping her phone in the dumpster. Into further investigation, investigators found bizarre searches on his phone relating to Ashanti’s ongoing case. Such as “man found in homicide” or “police found man in homicide”. DNA found on Ashanti also connected Brown to Ashanti’s death. Brown will be facing kidnapping charges as well as murder charge. There will be Justice for Ashanti.
Nicish Ness I just looked it up. He is very creepy looking. No matter where you put your phone his eyes are always looking at you in his pic. Yuck. What's even creepier is he also searched for "missing woman and baby" I'm thinking maybe she wasn't his first victim. Thanks for the update tho! I've always wondered what happened. This happened a few days after the Kenneka Jenkins and I'm from where that happened was even at that hotel the same night also dated a family member of hers and then happened to get into deep convo with someone who was very close with Ashanti's dad. So I've always wondered if she got her justice.
Logan Hensley yes he is very creepy! That’s what I was thinking also, so he could be linked to numerous murders. I know that people who kill and aren’t apprehended, RARELY only do it once so he could be linked to numerous others as well, you never know. And of course no problem! Also, omg wow that’s crazy! Well, Im glad there was justice for Ashanti too.
Nicish Ness yes I mean that was a pretty long haul for it to be his first murder tbh. I think most of us watch these videos bc we are all curious how and why a murdered does what they do but by now we usually know they start small and easy. Taking a well known well liked female from a base and having her for days in her own car no no no no no.... this was not his first.
A 45 year old homeless retired Navy veteran has been charged with Ashanti's murder. He worked as a day laborer on the base . He visited the shop Ashanti's sandwich shop almost daily. His name is Eric Brian Brown.
Danelle Hallan ~I know this story is old, but I just found your channel. ❤️🙏🏾 I love what you do and how you’re doing it! Your compassion can be felt through the screen🥺. This story was truly 💔 heart breaking, I could feel your passion Also you have a great 👍🏾 eye for details and a super sharp mind to match!!
how low do you have to be to leave a body behind a church? that's terrible. poor girl. she had so much motivation for her future and it was just taken away....
Maybe the person who did it is religious and leaving the body there maybe was a way to ask for forgiveness or to leave Ashanti in the hands of God. I am in no way making excuses for this heinous person. What they did was unacceptable and heartbreaking but I think leaving Ashanti's body by the church may reveal something about the perpetrator and if anything maybe assist in finding out who did it. It will be interesting to see what kind of church it was too. Was it a gospel church? An Anglican church? What kind of sermons did they have there? The case seems very premeditated so I'm thinking that maybe the location plays more significance than once believed.
I think we will just have to wait and see. It's so recent but the more recent a case is the more likely they are to be solved and I hope the family find justice and this awful person is taken off the streets and placed behind bars.
I think they did it as a mockery. Church is supposed to symbolize everlasting love, faith, and heaven. They chose to dump the body to make fun of this. Such a sad story.
I just want to say THANK YOU for covering this case. Being born and raised in chesapeake/va beach, this truly is close to home. Everyone is so heartbroken and devastated over this tragedy, as always, you did an AMAZING job covering the details! LOVE and constant support from VA
I'm so happy you're covering these cases. They deserve justice and you cover them so well, and the way you relay the information is so easy to follow. Thank you so much for what you do for these families.
I couldn't have said it better, while Amber alerts and silver alerts are wonderful, not every person outside of that age group ran away or wanted to disappear. When the family says something along the lines of "this is very unlike my child" a missing persons report should be filed. They've got the ability to broadcast Amber alerts to every phone in the country, at the same time, so for those from age 20-65 or so should have an alert sent to those in the immediate area in which they were last seen and within a 300 mile radius. Everyone has their phones glued to their hands already, one little message isn't going to be an issue, however, it could make all the difference, you just never know. I understand the urgency when a young child is missing, but every life is important and every person who is unfortunately missing, should get the same amount of attention and urgency.
Z0mbi3Peach The problem is that narcissistic, abusive people could take advantage of that and the person who is trying to get out of an abusive situation could be put right back in one because they said, "this is very unlike them". Also, in bigger cities there would be so many notifications, eventually people would ignore them, causing them to be less effective.
Sue Z that makes perfect sense, I definitely didn't look at it that way and maybe I would've never considered that at all. It's unfortunate that people are so low and would inevitably abuse that system designed to find, protect and prevent things like this. So very sad.
Z0mbi3Peach I've been doing a lot of research into abuse and narcissistic parents and it is crazy. They are so deep in denial that they can justify any action and when they link up to other abusive/narcissistic parents they actually cosign these actions and help the abuse. I would not put it past these people to use something like this to their advantage. It really sucks because we do need a better, more immediate way of helping missing persons, but we also can't be sure that we wouldn't be returning a victim to their abuser or helping their abuser find where their victim ran to. Ya know?
Could you possibly do one on the missing Coachella Valley couple, Audrey Moran and Jonathan Reynoso?? They've been missing for 5 month and the families are still looking for answers. The case is really strange and fairly recent?? I think you'd be interested and maybe help by spreading awareness
I will say this again and a thousand times more, i love the purpose for your channel. People like Ashanti do not deserve to die and let those murderers get away with it...ugh people are so cruel and i will never understand why...
I wonder if maybe they were not alone in this crime, and maybe they were being followed at night while dropping off her car? Like one of the perps drove her car, dropped it off, then hopped into the car following them. Idk, this case is so sad. Close to home (ish for me too-years ago) I lived in Randelman, NC (my cousin lived in Greensboro ). Weird to hear all the familiar town names. I truly hope her family gets justice. Great video XXOO
AmberWaltersLife I didn't know you had lived in Randleman! I live about 1 1/2 hours from Randleman, my bff moved to Randleman when we were in high school, I went pretty often! Small world!!!
The killer could have also walked some distance and then taken an Uber or Lyft maybe? I'm not familiar with the area but that seems like a possibility to me.
Hey Danelle, I know you’re in the N.C. area, and so am I. Recently, in Robosen county N.C., there have been a series of missing women and bodies being found. Currently, there is a young woman named Abby Lynn Patterson who is missing. She is 20 years old. Not much evidence has been uncovered as of yet, but recently there have been a lot of bodies being found in the area that she lived/went missing from. Three women’s bodies were uncovered a short while before she went missing. A lot of people are speculating that it is a serial killer. Abby told her mom before she left that she would be back in an hour, and then she never returned. Last night they found another body behind a big lots not too far (approx 5 minutes away) from where the other bodies were found/where Abby lived. No word on the identity of the most recent body found. Crazy part is, when the first body was found, a local new station did a interview with people who live in the area, and one of the women in the interview was the next person to go missing and her body was later found. I was wondering if there was any way you could do a video on this? Abby’s family is searching desperately for her, and any publicity will help. She was last scene getting into a brown SUV. Thanks so much Danelle!!! 💗
Kanga Roux me too!! It’s honestly the craziest situation. There isn’t too much evidence being found and I’m not sure if there are any people of interest? It’s just unfair and scary. I live/work right around where all of this is happening!
Ivyyouidiot I live 30 mins from where she went missing. I knew this girl. She went to my local middle school and was the same age as my brother. I really hope she covers this. No one has on RUclips yet, that I know of.
Omg this should definitely be your next video! So many missing and found and even one went missing from a news video that’s crazy. Sounds like a serial killer
Blair liz Felder I live about the same distance and I’ve actually been friends with her on FB since 2012, we had a lot of mutual friends! I really hope Danelle covers this as well! I think it’s a huge deal, and I hope she deems this as important as I do!
It's unbelievable how close this was to me. I will say, I've entered the base as early as 3am, and security only checks your ID and that's it. You don't stop by the visitors office and they don't take your information, and often they don't ask what youre there for. At least in my experience; being in a heavily military populated area it's not weird to have dependents come in and out of base that late. And as for dropping the car off, theres a lot of cul de sacs here, and many tourists and low income; it's not unusual to see people walking around that early or to see cars parked places for long periods of time as people tend to keep to their own.
just a thought, if her boss offered to double the reward it would easily take him off any list of suspicion. the murder seems really calculated and who better would know her work schedule than her boss?
The case was solved and the boss had nothing to do with it but I just wanted to add to that "she arrived an hour before they opened" comment... Usually if you work in any food business you have to come in an hour to hour & half early to begin getting food. It's actually pretty common for food service workers to show up at their jobs at 5am even tho the place does not open until 6am. My own work place opens at 5am but we have to be there at 4am to prep
No matter how dedicated I am to a job I would never show up almost 2 hours early. This makes me think that she communicated with someone the day/night before about possibly coming to pick them up OFF THE BASE and taking them somewhere. To me that's the only reason why she would come on base super early, not go to her job and leave again.
+Mona S I found another article this morning where her mom said she would go in this early if there was a lot of prep work to be done so it isn't actually too early.
Makes a lot of sense but I agree that someone on the base may have approached her. That can explain why she left after arriving. I also think they took their own car, you can't technically be suspicious if no one knows you committed a crime. Anyhow love videos...thanks for responding!!!
The legit only reason I could think for work that early (and with my similar work roles previously) is Monday morning prep. Sandwich shops get slammed on the weekend and fresh ingredients need to be done or filled for the week ahead. Otherwise she was asked to be there early if prep wasn’t a normality this early
I always look forward to your uploads, there are so many RUclipsrs who do mystery’s but yours is by far my favorite, I appreciate your views and the amount of research you do
NC resident here. I use 64 every year to go to OBX. It's very isolated at times and 64 to 77 to the church I think makes the most sense, as you said. I think there were more than 1 person involved here. Think about how difficult it would be for a single person to dump a victim's car somewhere and not be seen. You would have to walk somewhere after dumping it. But with another person obviously you have a getaway. I also think that location was chosen bc it is a dead end semi far away from the last location she was seen. This is for 2 reasons. First, they hoped no one would find the car for a while. Who goes down a dead end street except for the people who live there, right? Second, finding the car would give the illusion that she was still in the VA beach area and not somewhere else. So people wouldn't be looking somewhere else. Finally, I think the person or persons were from charlotte or at least very familiar with the area. You don't drive 5 hours in a random direction to dump a body and just hope you find a good spot when you get there. They knew this church was right beside the highway so they could dump the body and get back to base before anyone knew they were gone.
Sparks 1013 Regarding your last part - I feel the perpetrator was at some point local to Charlotte. Whether raised there, lived there for a while or current. But I feel they moved around a bit, possibly military lifestyle given the circumstances
I’m a 16 year old girl who went to THIS exact base with my greatgrandmother begin August, her husband is a veteran. I went there with only her, not her husband. She could just drive into the parking lot without anybody looking at her ID or whatever, and she parked in a special parking space (she’s aloud to bc of my greatgrandpa) and we went inside to go shopping. The whole time we were there, we didn’t have to show any papers or documents or anything to anyone to prove that we had a reason or whatever to go to the base, or to even be inside of it. I don’t know if this makes things any clearer, but literally everytime i went there, nobody checked if we had any connections to the base whatsoever if you know what i’m trying to say. 😘
Got a bit further into the video, we never had to identify ourselves EVER, i’m not trying to hate AT ALL! I’m just sharing my experience, and i think that if we never had to identify ourselves, other people maybe didn’t have to either.
+Joey Hayson I don't think you are hating at all! It's horrible to know they aren't taking ANY precautions! It is mandatory for bases to at least check ID so they aren't following guidelines at all. They could have basically allowed this to happen.
I’ve never had to identify myself at my small local base, and I completely agree.. part of the problem is that security has been taken over by civilian contractors to save money so the standard of security at bases has went down since the goal has been to lower DOH/DOD costs.
Does your great grandmother have a sticker or tag that would allow her to pass the entry gate? Was anyone out watching the vehicles coming in? Also, when she paid at the store, did she not have to have identification? I used to be a military brat (grew up on base), and my a lot of my family are still in the military. When we visit, we get a "pass" that we have to show every time we enter the gate. They get all our info, why are we there, social security.etc.... usually we are there for more than just a day, so we get an extended pass. My family, (retired or active) will have a sticker on the front windshield that will allow them to pass . The person at the gate usually just waves them on.. rarely do they get stopped for id. However, when we would shop on base, my military family member would show military id as they paid. If we didn't buy anything, no one asked for id. I am not sure if every branch of military practices the same security measures (though I would hope so). Not questioning you, just asking for clarity.
Joey Hayson I live in Virginia Beach and I go to base almost every week, you do need a military ID or at least the persons driving needs one. I’m not sure how you got in but not once have they not asked for my ID
What I love most about your channel is that you can clearly see in your eyes how much you truly care about each case, instead of just reading off a script! Loved the video!
You’re the best for missing person and solved cases on RUclips! Better than documentaries about these types of cases! 💓 spend my days watching Kendal Rae conspiracies and your case vids so interesting and frustrating!
I live in the same state where this happened and followed this story from start to finish and I really appreciate you doing your homework, ensuring you included even the smallest details 💞💕💗
You should do a whole update video on Kenneka Jenkins, since they just released photos of her body. I would love to hear your thoughts on her case again
+Morgan Howard I won't be doing another video on Kenneka. My original video did much more harm than good and people are still too sensitive to listen to any opinions other than their own. I might mention it in a live stream but that's probably the extent of what I will do.
+Danelle Hallan There are alot who do bad; that attack ones exposing the K case...they get triggered in armour defense mechanisms exposing their pathology...coverup is so much effort it freudian slips and trigger slips..))))
Danelle Hallan we had a serial killer in Fredericksburg for a while when I was little. He traveled to South Carolina and was linked to a ton of other cases from south west va. You should check out the lisk sisters and Sophia Silva’s case.
You should look into the HOPE DOE case and if you think she could be SHARAUN TAREE COLE. Doe was found days after Sharaun went missing and I've been researching and I see tons of similarities. Please look into it, it's really interesting and you never know.
Danelle Hallan You are amazing!!! Thank you. It would be an interesting video if just to possibly compare similarities. After I realized the similarities and began researching I found a reddit thread and I realized I wasn't the only one who seen the similarities but that thread is a bit misleading with so much conflicting information that I didn't use much of what they said. I recommend comparing the actual details of each case 😘😘
I can verify, in order to get entrance into any military base you need prior authorization. Same goes with visitors. You have to have prior clearance...no way around it. When you pull up to the gate you have to have your pass and your id readily available. Visitors are only issued passes for certain reasons...not just anyone can be granted access on base.
Sarah L. Clark really? Wow they’re not doing a great job them lol. Even if I have 3 other people in my car and they’re in uniform they HAVE to show their ID. My husband niece isn’t old enough for a state ID and they gave me a hard time for that. They should be asking for every ones ID inside the vehicle
Kyara Nievesbaez Absolutely! They even asked for my poor grannies ID each and every time she came through. As well as my aunt who is retired Air Force but still goes on base for her chemo. Doesn't matter who you are. It's security.
I’m 20 and have gone with my grandmother to our Joint reserve base a Handful if Times the last few years and have never been asked to show my ID. I always feel like I should be asked for it but never have.
Yeah I grew up a few blocks from this base and my father would regularly go on base (his job was a mobile lock smith, but we also went just to go to the movies and bowling). I never had to show ID, and he never had to show anything more then ID to get on.
This case was such a hard one to listen to. I am heartbroken😞 the saddest thing about all of this is that if the person who did this isn’t found it could happen all over again with someone new...
I want to say that I love your videos. I watch some other youtubers that I started on months ago. You have easily become my favorite. Not to compare you but I think it speaks volume to how much I love your work. You do such a good job laying out the story. and you can tell you care!
I agree with the theory that it was premeditated, someone was watching her, this seemed way too planned out to be a spontaneous attack. Hope we find out what happened and who did this, Ashanti deserves for the person who did this to be punished
You do such a GREAT job with these cases Danelle !!!!! ....... You speak so well, and are always respectful yet SUPER informative !! My new FAVE RUclipsr !!!!! 👏🏽👏🏽
I think you should definitely do case updates on social media! Its hard to watch the entire live stream some days and I can't skip to the case updates because I don't know which part of the stream they are talked about. If we got updates on social media I could always find them easily (: Your channel is great! I look forward to your videos every week!
What a tragic story, that poor girl and her family. Beautifully & respectfully delivered by you as always! Your efforts really pay off in the quality of your content.. love from London! Gem xx 😘
I have a beach house in Norfolk a few doors down from the naval base called Little Creek, this pains my heart to know this happened a few doors down from my summer home :(
I love you so much. You are literally one of my favorite RUclipsrs ever. You really inspire me. If you respond to this it would mean a lot to me and a dream come true❤️
It's just so sickening to think that someone can commit murder and dispose of evidence in the most flippant way. These are areas where someone should have seen something, but no one did. It's saddening, and I really hope they catch who did this.
Wow. I live about two hours from Charlotte in North Carolina and I have NEVER heard anything about this case at all!!! I hope things get solved fast. Thank you for bringing this to my and so many others attention
As if he knows her killer will never be found (if it’s him or someone he’s covering for), so putting up 10k makes it look like he’s a really concerned person. Or he could just genuinely be a nice kind- hearted person who only wants to help solve the case, and if he is, then I feel bad for thinking him guilty.
I thoguht I'd seen all of your cases but was watching your YouNow case update and realized I had no idea which case this was. Off to watch that update, so glad they have caught him!!!
Wow, I live in Virginia Beach and I know the Naval Base you're talking about. Crazy! I didn't realize she lived in my area! Also, they made an arrest on her case too: wtkr.com/2017/11/14/eric-brown-charged-with-kidnapping-ashanti-billie-faces-federal-judge-for-detention-hearing/
I had no idea you were from NC and the Charlotte area. Small world. I just found your channel and I grew up in Charlotte and live in Raleigh now. I heard so much about this case. It's so sad. God rest her soul
They should have an, "Amber -Immediate Mandatory Role Call Alert " for everyone on base, so they could be accounted for. That would be beneficial for future use in case something like this happens again. Please name it the Ashanti Billie Law
Heartbreaking. Thank you for bringing light to these cases. I sure hope her killer is found. So horrible. Prayers to the family. You do a great job Danelle. I always look forward to your videos!
I know this case is old, and not really necessary to make a video about, but could you do a video on the Casey Anthony case? It fascinates me and there's so many elements to it that just doesn't add up.
you deserve more subscribers, all your videos are so thoroughly done and honour the victims of these crimes so well. you’re always extremely respectful and informative when it comes to these awful cases. i look forward to more videos and watching your channel grow, because you seriously are on a great path and you’ve really hit your stride :)
I just looked up the case and they have in fact found the person responsible for this tragedy. A navy veteran! Who was seen speaking to her on multiple occasions on base. Nothing can take the pain away but at least she’ll have justice.
It’s crazy when you’ve been watching videos like this for ages and suddenly there’s one that happened in your hometown... I know the sub shop, I live less than an hour out of va beach. And somehow I had never heard anything about this case. I wish I had known sooner so I could’ve remembered if I saw the car or something... also, I can vouch that Norfolk is a very safe base, it’s definitely well protected. It would be hard for someone without an ID (one that’s valid for that base) to get on base unless they came in with someone that did have an ID. Stay safe, friends!
If whoever dropped her car off at midnight or a few hours later, then went to NC, the sun would just be coming up and people would be going to work so wouldn’t they been seen? It’s a 5 or more hour drive so it would be morning. This whole case sucks and she didn’t deserve this. I’m praying for her family and her friends and everybody affected by this. I’m also praying that the police/FBI can find whoever killed her. Rest In Peace Ashanti, you didn’t deserve this😇❤️
I’m in the military and in order for a “visitor “ to be allowed on a military base someone has to sing you in. Unless they had a common access card “CAC” so more than likely it was someone who had the ability to be on a military installation or someone knew and signed them in
Or perhaps a veteran. I am not sure how it is now, but I think that vets will have a sticker on their windshield and just get waved in. They wouldn't need to be checked in or have a pass.
No vets still have a common access card because they are always allowed on a military base as long as they were dishonorably discharged. My grandpa has been retired for 10 years and he and his wife could live on a base if they wanted to.
Thanks for clarifying. I knew they would get a card, but I didn't know if they had a tag that would let them go right through, or if they had to show their card. Yes, veterans and their spouse would have base privileges for the rest of their life as long as they were honorably discharged.
I live in Norfolk!! That's so crazy hearing about places I've heard about my whole life. You're my hands down favorite youtuber! I never write comments but if you see this keep doing what you're doing because you're doing great ❤️
I recently discovered your channel and I find it excellent. You are great in explaining the cases along with pictures, maps, etc. and it is clear the amount of work and effort behind it. Great !
I’m so happy you posted this. I was one of the ones who suggested it. I haven’t finished fully watching the video yet as I type this up but have they checked out the employees at the sandwich shop? I’m not sure how naval bases are but is there security out and about or cctv on buildings? Something doesn’t really add up too much with the base.
Sam Nicotera I saw a brick house that looked pretty run down when she was showing the street her car was found on. Could have been where she was held??
Melissa Ramirez that's a good one and so sad...i wish that pos guy who took her didn't get so lucky when that video was being taken and his faced was covered in each frame...😞😵😤😤😤
I emailed this one to you as soon as I heard about it knowing it was close to home for you. I'm really glad you covered it. I know recent cases aren't the best due to all the high emotions going on. I would hate to think this could possibly be someone in our military that did this, and I hope they check every single employee that had that day off. I think maybe she had plans to be there early if she was showing up an hour and a half before her shift. I think that's a really important part of this story. She had a reason to go there, and it was probably to give someone a ride, as was suggested. I wish they had better cameras to see who was driving her car as she exited. I hope they truly find this killer.
Here in the UK people on the bases can do different shifts depending on their job. Is this the case on US bases as well? Could it be somebody coming off a night shift?
Nicish Ness did it say her cause of death?
Logan Hensley No it didn’t mention anything on cause of death. But that’s what I was wondering too.
UPDATE:
Eric Brian Brown was charged in the kidnapping of Ashanti billie
Yes🥰 Justice, justice for a ASHANTI. You can rest now baby girl 😔💐🙏🏾. Rest In Perfect Peace ❤️
A 45 year old homeless retired Navy veteran has been charged with Ashanti's murder. He worked as a day laborer on the base . He visited the shop Ashanti's sandwich shop almost daily. His name is Eric Brian Brown.
That is so just... leaves me speechless
i looooove how indepth you got by showing us the maps. ur awesome!! this case is awfully sad, i cant believe such a beautiful girl is gone
+Ashley Nicole I am a VERY visual person. Without those I would be sooooo lost lol. I'm glad it helped a bit!❤️
Damn I wasn’t expecting you to say her body was found 😢 I hope they get justice
+Stephanie Sharp I hope they do as well!
Well that's the end of the video told
Stephanie Sharp Me too! I was shocked and saddened
Welp no point in watching it now
Chris Callahan well you weren’t watching it for the right reasons in the first place
Yes I agree that someone inside that base was watching her and harmed her. 😢
+Melissa Robles 😭
Had to have been. I’d imagine they probably spent a lot of time in the store as well, wonder if there’s anyone who hasn’t been back.
They had to footage of her while there on base. Did she have to show her badge to leave? As she did coming in?
Robert Anderson I believe they do not scan when leaving. I read this elsewhere.
You were right.
I love how respectful you are of each case. You really are making a difference and helping so many people! ❤️
how low do you have to be to leave a body behind a church? that's terrible. poor girl. she had so much motivation for her future and it was just taken away....
+Alejandra Ramirez It is so disgusting. Cases like this absolutely infuriate me to no end.
+SuperEffjay serial killers will often twist religion in sadistic ways for odd pleasure they get by harm and think they are a god or satan....
Ya know?
Is Jacksonville near there?
Virginia house and senate are in talks right now about passing 'Ashanti Alert'
Could you possibly do one on the missing Coachella Valley couple, Audrey Moran and Jonathan Reynoso?? They've been missing for 5 month and the families are still looking for answers. The case is really strange and fairly recent?? I think you'd be interested and maybe help by spreading awareness
R0ppi 00 yes please! I’d love to see a video on this too
Yes!!!
R0ppi There's a link in the description where you can submit cases you want her to do a video on, please do that, you got me interested.
I love how detailed your videos are and I’m never left questioning anything. Thank you for bringing more light to this case 💕
+Ashley Jones I try my best to bring all possible facts to the table! Thank you so much for the kind words❤️❤️❤️
Danelle Hallan always, I love you Danelle 💖
I was thinking that she was still missing... that hit me. R.I.P.
Great video
XXOO
AmberWaltersLife exactly what I thought . One drops the car off , leaves in another car with an accomplice.
That’s what I was thinking, too.
AmberWaltersLife I didn't know you had lived in Randleman! I live about 1 1/2 hours from Randleman, my bff moved to Randleman when we were in high school, I went pretty often! Small world!!!
Melz indeed it is! And yup, I lived there for about 5-6 months ish. Beautiful state! 💕🤗
The killer could have also walked some distance and then taken an Uber or Lyft maybe? I'm not familiar with the area but that seems like a possibility to me.
Yessss!!!! About to get ready for the day and thought “I hope Danielle uploaded!” Perfect timing!!
+Bailey Schneider Every Saturday at 12 est😘❤️
Ivyyouidiot so crazy and sad I hope she covers this
Kanga Roux me too!!
I think it’s a huge deal, and I hope she deems this as important as I do!
wow made me want to cry that her boss even matched the FBI's reward the next day! this case seriously gave me chills 💔
And as for dropping the car off, theres a lot of cul de sacs here, and many tourists and low income; it's not unusual to see people walking around that early or to see cars parked places for long periods of time as people tend to keep to their own.
just a thought, if her boss offered to double the reward it would easily take him off any list of suspicion. the murder seems really calculated and who better would know her work schedule than her boss?
jason evans I was wondering about the boss too. Maybe she came early because he told her too or something?
I have a feeling it’s the boss to.
My first exact thought
The case was solved and the boss had nothing to do with it but I just wanted to add to that "she arrived an hour before they opened" comment... Usually if you work in any food business you have to come in an hour to hour & half early to begin getting food. It's actually pretty common for food service workers to show up at their jobs at 5am even tho the place does not open until 6am.
My own work place opens at 5am but we have to be there at 4am to prep
jason evans good twist
Thanks for covering this case. Keep up the good work.
@@monas5164 huh you can't be suspicious if no one knows you've committed a crime? Lol that's the silliest thing I've read today.
Well you don’t read much, goodbye!
I always look forward to your uploads, there are so many RUclipsrs who do mystery’s but yours is by far my favorite, I appreciate your views and the amount of research you do
+Jessie Braun Thank you do much😭 That means everything to me!❤️
NC resident here.
You should start a new series over people who were wrongly convicted but were eventually freed after finding new evidence :-) love your videos 💘
+shayne ortiz That's a great idea!
What I love most about your channel is that you can clearly see in your eyes how much you truly care about each case, instead of just reading off a script! Loved the video!
Im obesessed w your channel! Thank you for bringing light to these cases! ♥️
I hope you know just how appreciated your work is. Thank you for giving a voice & light to those who need it most.
+Brittany Anderson 😭😭❤️
I understand! Ill make sure to watch your live streams then (:
What harm? Hope there weren't more haters. :(
+Danelle Hallan There are alot who do bad; that attack ones exposing the K case...they get triggered in armour defense mechanisms exposing their pathology...coverup is so much effort it freudian slips and trigger slips..))))
Danelle Hallan just watched your version and I got more than those that came out when the case was fresh. What harm was done?
When you’re talking about my area in Virginia... chills.
+Earth2Sam Corker I love very close to all the places in this case. SUPER difficult to hear cases so close to home😣
Danelle Hallan we had a serial killer in Fredericksburg for a while when I was little. He traveled to South Carolina and was linked to a ton of other cases from south west va. You should check out the lisk sisters and Sophia Silva’s case.
Same I live in Va Beach too
You should look into the HOPE DOE case and if you think she could be SHARAUN TAREE COLE. Doe was found days after Sharaun went missing and I've been researching and I see tons of similarities. Please look into it, it's really interesting and you never know.
+thelovelyt1 I will check it out! Thank you for the suggestion!
They were both tall for their age, the age was just like 2 months off and so much more.
Ooh I wanna see this!
I like how you ended this video with the music and pics of her
I can verify, in order to get entrance into any military base you need prior authorization. Same goes with visitors. You have to have prior clearance...no way around it. When you pull up to the gate you have to have your pass and your id readily available. Visitors are only issued passes for certain reasons...not just anyone can be granted access on base.
Andrea Powers I've lived here for years and have never had to provide an ID for a guest
I wish you could post videos like this everyday. I love watching missing persons cases.. I know it would probably be a pain to upload everyday tho.😂
+Tanelle N a t a s h a If I could I 100% would trust me!!!! ❤️❤️
I make videos like this too if you like :) for your fix while we wait for danelle haha
You are a good soul for reporting these unheard cases. Bless you
This case was such a hard one to listen to. I am heartbroken😞 the saddest thing about all of this is that if the person who did this isn’t found it could happen all over again with someone new...
+Cristina Egana I know, and it is WAY too close to home for me. It is so horrible.
Thank you for your videos!! I love them!! You're doing a great job!!
I hope your husband's hand is feeling better and is healing well!!
+Alex 1P5:7 Thank you so much!! He is doing much better and healing quickly❤️
If not for this video, I wouldn't have known about Ashanti's case. You're doing a wonderful thing with these videos.
❤️ Thank you so much
I always look foward to your videos ❤️
Why the hate? Cause she is disrespectful
Why the hate? She's not happy in that respect, she's happy to see Danelle because who wouldn't be 😔
You do such a GREAT job with these cases Danelle !!!!! ....... You speak so well, and are always respectful yet SUPER informative !! My new FAVE RUclipsr !!!!! 👏🏽👏🏽
Thank you!!!
I think you should definitely do case updates on social media! Its hard to watch the entire live stream some days and I can't skip to the case updates because I don't know which part of the stream they are talked about. If we got updates on social media I could always find them easily (: Your channel is great! I look forward to your videos every week!
+Sayre Grimes I have only done one live stream update and I left time stamps on it so people would know❤️
Danelle Hallan I’m sorry I didn’t even realize! And thank you for replying!
What a tragic story, that poor girl and her family. Beautifully & respectfully delivered by you as always! Your efforts really pay off in the quality of your content.. love from London! Gem xx 😘
Can you please make a part 2 in kenneka jenkins since so much new information has been released and crime scene photos as well have been leaked
you should make an update video for this case with all the recent info thats been found!
I have a beach house in Norfolk a few doors down from the naval base called Little Creek, this pains my heart to know this happened a few doors down from my summer home :(
I listen to your videos while I run now. It keeps my mind busy . Thank you !
I love you so much. You are literally one of my favorite RUclipsrs ever. You really inspire me. If you respond to this it would mean a lot to me and a dream come true❤️
+Rachellauren0 15 ❤️
I really like these 30 min videos better then the hour long ones! It’s the perfect amt of time and story telling! Great job!
It's just so sickening to think that someone can commit murder and dispose of evidence in the most flippant way. These are areas where someone should have seen something, but no one did. It's saddening, and I really hope they catch who did this.
+Alexis Ford Exactly. I can not imagine caring so little. It's sickening.
Wow. I live about two hours from Charlotte in North Carolina and I have NEVER heard anything about this case at all!!! I hope things get solved fast. Thank you for bringing this to my and so many others attention
Love you can't wait to watch this
+Melissa Robles ❤️
Thank you for posting all kinds of stories and sharing poc who go missing too
YES!!!! I love you and your channel!
+Tess Alexander I LOVE YOU!❤️
Thanks for spreading awareness on another heartbreaking case.
💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
Personally I find it very suspicious that her boss offered 10k as well.....
So sad my heart breaks 💔 for Ashanti and her family. Thank you bringing awareness to all the cases you cover and upload.
such a beautiful and kind girl the universe lost a star that day
I am sick and on baby bed rest but as soon as I got the ding that you uploaded I had to click and watch lol your videos are amazing and respectful.
Can’t wait for your weekly live steams!
+Jessica Scherer I love doing them!!!!
I’m so happy I found your channel. I found it searching for brittanee Drexel. I’ve followed her story a lot. Love your channel 💖♥️
Why would she get to work before 5 am that day if she normally didn't get there until 6am? Was she meeting someone before work?
She was supposed to be opening the shop which includes getting everything prepped and ready before they officially open for the day.
Yes! I did a live stream about it!!!
Oh! I probably should've watched that first! I've been binging your videos while I've been working from home all week!
+Racquel Jennifer ❤️❤️
I know this case is old, and not really necessary to make a video about, but could you do a video on the Casey Anthony case? It fascinates me and there's so many elements to it that just doesn't add up.
I hope she doesn’t do a video on that bitch. Casey killed her daughter and got away with it. She doesn’t need any coverage or anything done about her.
I wouldn’t be watched for Casey. Caylee yes.
you deserve more subscribers, all your videos are so thoroughly done and honour the victims of these crimes so well. you’re always extremely respectful and informative when it comes to these awful cases. i look forward to more videos and watching your channel grow, because you seriously are on a great path and you’ve really hit your stride :)
I just looked up the case and they have in fact found the person responsible for this tragedy. A navy veteran! Who was seen speaking to her on multiple occasions on base. Nothing can take the pain away but at least she’ll have justice.
I am BINGE watching !!! Love your channel.. Always in prayer for these families.
Also, the visitors center isn’t even usually open so early in the morning. I mean it’s closed on weekends... it’s basically normal business hours.
cooleronline15 I am from Charlottesville and didn't hear about this case either.
The updates on her case have been so heartbreaking. I've been keeping her parents in my prayers.
Rest In Peace Ashanti, you didn’t deserve this😇❤️
Thank you for doing this video. We need answers for this girl and her family. RIP Ashanti
They found her killer it was a Navy veteran. RIP Ashanti. This story breaks my heart
Im so glad to see you trying to help find her! Thank you!!
I’m in the military and in order for a “visitor “ to be allowed on a military base someone has to sing you in. Unless they had a common access card “CAC” so more than likely it was someone who had the ability to be on a military installation or someone knew and signed them in
+Evyan Sissum 😣😣
A lot of people have they’ve been to this base & their ID’s were not checked at all.
I love when you upload, I never miss one! I hope your husband's hand is healing fast & you & your family are doing well ❤
+ftioknfty wrujnftukk I appreciate that more than I could ever tell you! We are all doing very well❤️thank you so much!
I LOVE YOUR NEW INTRO
+Maddie Videtto Thank you!! It fits the mood much better!
Me too. :)
I live in Norfolk!! That's so crazy hearing about places I've heard about my whole life. You're my hands down favorite youtuber! I never write comments but if you see this keep doing what you're doing because you're doing great ❤️
Poor Ashanti. Warm thoughts to her friends and family. I hope the truth comes out very soon! 🎀
I recently discovered your channel and I find it excellent. You are great in explaining the cases along with pictures, maps, etc. and it is clear the amount of work and effort behind it. Great !
Finally early love your videos always excited for the next case ❤️ keep up the great work !
+Alma Mendoza Thanks love!❤️
I’m so happy you posted this. I was one of the ones who suggested it. I haven’t finished fully watching the video yet as I type this up but have they checked out the employees at the sandwich shop? I’m not sure how naval bases are but is there security out and about or cctv on buildings? Something doesn’t really add up too much with the base.
is it possible the person who took her lives near where the car was dropped off?
+Sam Nicotera That's what I would assume
Sam Nicotera I saw a brick house that looked pretty run down when she was showing the street her car was found on. Could have been where she was held??
Mimi Murdaa that is possible.. they should talk to near by residents and see if any of them have records/ history of being violent
Can't believe I never even saw a news report on this case. I live 15 mins from Charlotte, NC. Wish I could help 😞
Can you do the disappearance of Jennifer Kesse? She’s been missing in Orlando, FL for 11 years! 😭
She is on my list❤️❤️
Melissa Ramirez that's a good one and so sad...i wish that pos guy who took her didn't get so lucky when that video was being taken and his faced was covered in each frame...😞😵😤😤😤
Your channel is awesome. Great detail and care put in every report. GOD BLESS !
What about the boss at her work?? Has their been an investigation, just wondering because you never know and have to take into consideration everyone
+Jessica Frye I am sure the FBI has him on a list to question.
Exactly what I was thinking! Why was she at work so early?? I feel like someone from work asked her to come in early
I hope they find out what happened. It’s the least the family deserve and for Ashanti’s justice ❤️
+Eden Humphreys I hope so as well!
