This car has been through many stages since it broke into 9’s with the factory block, and each stage has had a heck of a learning curve! From pogo sticking - to spinning all 4 slicks 200’ down the track, CJ and his team have had their work cutout for them! Drop the launch rpm a little and fine tune the suspension, I'd guess it should run 8's all day no problem.

Adam Harmon Torque, yeah it probably pulls hard enough it'll just about snap your neck. It wouldn't say "eww" though. I love a car that pulls hard. It takes the breath right out of you. I can't imagine the g's you feel once this is dialed in and gripping.

Awesome car. To get a Subaru to 1000hp takes a lot. They don't hold power stock the same way that some other cars do. I can't wait to see him get it all worked out. Not easy to put down that much power that effectively.

Looking at that last pass, I dont know what he could do to go any faster at all!! That 9.1 was scorching fast, every shift was crisp.. I guess if he had that same launch, shifting and with an extra 50-75hp he could break into the 8's, but damn 1000hp is already stupid on that boxer-4!

The good thing about 4 bangers compared to some v8's is they can make heaps of power and the engine will be really light which means u have less drag so u will have a weight advantage.
