I was just teasing, but 3000gts are a mechanical nightmare. Twin turbo, AWD, 4ws, active aero, active suspension, etc, etc. A lot of them ended up rotting because they simply had too many complicated systems to keep running for 99% of people.
Best video you have done for a bit and of a great group of guys. Worth every minute, this could have been and hour long and I still would have loved to watch them go through that weekend. God Bless!
Imagine how hard getting Leroy into 7s was like with reliable setup. This really shows how hard it is to get that last bit to be one of the few with stick shift vehicles in 7s

great effort.. that old sube has my gears turning. what about a gear one ratio change.. that thing is snapping into lunacy. I was an antique subaru driver of 20 years.. the dual range. The boxer is so linear.. let it eat. Awesome show.
Armchair warrior here, I feel like he could benefit from a longer 1st gear. The thing has plenty of power so it'll still run hard outta the hole, but it'll give him more controll and less time bouncing off the limiter. Car looks great man! Keep up the hard work man
@@ksrnate I was thinking the exact same thing man, a 2nd gear launch would give him more time to put the power down. I tried this myself and I ran my best pass on a 234 run, and run 4th out very long with no limiter.
I am actually very surprised that 6 speed holds up to 1300+WHP along with the 5 year old axles/diff/driveshaft. Like dang, when they say the 6 speed is bulletproof, they weren't kidding.
