This has happened before when Ace and Peter were still playing in the band I believe. It almost has me thinking that Ace is involved somehow like he's sending his buddies to these concerts armed with laser pointers to mess with Paul.

My dad and I could not quit laughing when that happened were quoting what he asked the audience. One of my dad's co workers was a security guard for some shows at the rose quarter where it was and said that it was real after the show.

This doesn't happen at every concert... I've never heard him tell someone off live. Paul likes to have fun, not make trouble... if someone was distracting you with a laser pen so that you couldn't give the other fans the performance they came to see, wouldn't you be pissed off too? Those things can permanently cause damage to your eyesight.
I've seen 'Phantom of the Park' a million times... I know for a fact that Paul could just shoot right back at him.

Klatu Baradanikto It is ALL sad,just the same. There is a VERY LIMITED audience for KISS these days. Their heyday was in the 70's, when they made millions of dollars. Now they're all broke and desperate. Its sad! Their music really,wasn't meant to last because their songs really suck! They weren't Led Zeppelin, even though they thought that they were, and tried to be. Their gimmick wore off too soon, and they knew it, just as much as the rest of us did. I pity anyone who finds them fascinating today. They are the epitome of corporate rock gone wrong! Fare well, you guys! You were on top of the world for a few years, then everyone realized that your music SUCKED, just as much as your make-up sucked the BIG WAD!!! Buh-bye......

I was at the Washington Monument and couldn't hear the ranger give a tour because some idiot was loud on his phone. No one forces you to go to the theatre: stay off your damn phone. No one forces you to a KISS concert, leave the lasers to the lighting crew. I guess anyone can get carried away or miss a cue but for the most part, you know what flies and what doesn't most places that you choose to go.

I was in the 100 section and laser pointer guy was above right where I was sitting, I was the one who yelled "Kick his ass Paul!!" I've seen KISS in make-up 3 times total and that show was the best!!!

Haha, I believe it. Stanley has always had a chip on his shoulder. He picks a fight with some audience member in half of their concerts. He has always done that his whole career. No other band has these problems with their audiences, so I think it's a Paul Stanley thing instead of an audience thing.

With the number of incidents with guys with lasers I'm beginning to think that there are no guys with lasers, just Paul trying to act tough.

Thanks for showing Paul telling off some "child" about playing with the laser at their concert. Why would anyone want to possibly injure anyone, especially a KISS member while they are performing for fans? I have never been fortunate enough to be able to go to see KISS. Then some "ignorant" person gets in/up close pulls a stunt like that. How ignorant and embarrassing for him! Did that guy get kicked out of the concert?
And how do you know he didn't nicely ask them to stop earlier in the show? That "light" can cause serious eye damage, not to mention it's just completely disrespectful.
Paul should have gotten a lazer himself to point out the guy, and get him arrested or so.

@sandyRndisco1 I hope you do get to go to a KISS concert at some point. It was a once in a lifetime thing for me and I almost passed it up. I'm so glad I didn't! It was a fantastic show! With the band members getting older, I figured they could stop touring anytime. And, no I don't think the guy got kicked out.

it would be really really funny if the guy pointing the laser at Paul Stanley during this concert was the same guy who pointed the laser at him in 1999 (and made Paul lose his temper then, too).
That same year 1999 there was Woodstock 99 and Dave Mustaine got laser pointer in the middle of the performance and later he got angry and he criticized the unruly crowd behaviour

OH God, is he still doing that gimmick? He was doing the silly laser pointer guy gimmick back in the 1990s during the reunion tour. Every night, every show he would say the exact same thing word for word at the exact same moment during the concert. This is the thing about Kiss, it is less of a rock concert and more of a show. You go see them tonight and then see them again the next night and then the next night everything they say in between each song is exactly the same.
This isn't part of the show, they don't do this at every concert.

These guys blow up fireworks and have hundreds of thousands of watts of bright lights shining in everyone's eyes, but one guy with a laser pointer unhinges them and makes them act like they're back in junior high. Gee, maybe it's because they're not making any money off the guy with the laser pointer? Or maybe it's because they're not as professional as they think they are...

I was and still am a Kiss fan, but I had the unfortunate opportunity to see them during the "Dynasty" tour, in the Pontiac Silverdome (half the dome, due to ticket sales), and they weren't good at all. They even admitted that some of the shows on this tour were sub-par. I would have loved to see them during one of these awesome shows that get posted here on RUclips, and I'll have to see them next time they're near.
