I love love love you Doris and Thank you for educating us on the history so much knowledge and information and your voice is so soothing and therapeutic I relax to your videos often
Chanel a visionary who changed the fashion world! Elegant, charismatic, extraordinarily talented, fiercely determined and a force of nature. One in a million. An outstanding example that would serve to inspire generations.
Having read Chanel's life story, interesting marketing, she gave American soldiers bottles of Chanel to take home to the USA. My sister and I found a Chanel suit at a vintage show in Toronto and we gently looked it all over. It was stunning. We were so excited we got to even touch it and we are in our fifties, it was a fun day.
You are a total inspiration. Articulate. Knowledgeable. A true devotee of design, quality and the process of creating a beautiful gown. Keep creating xx
Doris, those videos are such a gift! Thank you for Walking us through fashion and the story behind all the eras and styles. I hope you keep on doing this
Luciana Tejera I love your country Luciano and need to revisit it someday soon. Stayed at Finca Narbona a few years ago but LOVE Montevideo! Thank you for your sweet comment! Doris
I remember when i was a child in elementary school i think around 3rd or 4th grade we were supposed to write a paper and dress up as someone who inspired us and my mom had a wonderful coffee table book on Coco Chanel and i would look thru it and read it all the time growing up so of course i immediately knew who to write about. My mom dressed me in my grandmothers tweed chanel 2 piece suit from the late 30s early 40s that the skirt went down to my ankles i was so little and some costume jewelry pearls and all my teachers thought it was absolutely brilliant and couldnt stop laughing watching me prance around the classroom all day!!!
Isadora Obsidian Thanks for the fabulous description. I can see that in my mind’s eye. But that leaves me to ask- where is your grandmother’s suit? Thanks for your interest! Doris
Ahhh... That's such a beautiful memory! I love your Mom & Grandma. Such fashionistas! It makes me remember when my son did that in kindergarten. We dressed him up as Barak Obama (3-4 years before he became President), in a cute oversized suit that we got from a local 2nd hand designer store & he had similar reactions all-day from his teachers. So adorable!
The Way We Wore Oh I hope she replies and tells us! I have feelings of doubt tho 😦 god I LOVE these stories! You truly lead a remarkable life! You exude blessings! Continued blessings! ❤️
Ah, Chanel. My father gave me a large bottle of Chanel No. 5 when I was a valedictorian many years ago. I adored it, and what a special gift it was thank you for sharing your fabulous collections with us.
The red dress and matching coat remind me so much of my mother. Then of course she had the perfect pair of shoes with a rose 🌹 design and purse 👛 made just for her 💝.
This is becoming more interesting and educational by the video! Thank you so much for sharing this very interesting story about Coco Chanel, well done indeed!
Oh, my, gosh, that brilliantly beautiful coat, I gasped when I saw it. It's just gorgeous. The flowers, the gorgeous flowers at the back of neck on the collar. Stunning. Were they felt? What I'd give to own a piece like that. My dream is to be able to come to your shop (I'm from Melbourne, Australia) and just lose myself looking at all the absolutely brilliant beautiful clothing shoes and accessories. Just to SEE and experience would be such a dream but I think I would have to indulge in a couple of special occasion pieces and maybe some just for fun, as I like whimsy as well! Hope you are healing well Doris, Thank you as always for sharing. The show has turned into my escape into the beautiful fashion and fashion history.
I'm in heaven! What an amazing collection! I love it when you show the labels and the structure (couture finish). Thank you so much for taking the time to make these videos. They're educational, fun and inspiring 😊
I no longer follow fashion but this channel makes me yearn for some of the gorgeous clothes that i owned in the past. Coco Chanel was one of the icons of fashion, who inspired my own personal style, from a very young age. Thank you very much for this wondersul walk down memory lane.
Leo Casella Hi Leo. Thanks for taking the time to comment. I have a limited amount of Galliano/DIOR and very few McQueen items. I will add this suggestion to my list of possible future or future topics. Thanks for your interest! Doris

Thanks for the video!
