hey i'm french. it is a traditional outfit and some wear it. you'll find them everywhere in the shops in paris but it's sure that there aren't any on everyone's head. that said, it's very classy as a style.
I’ve been learning French since the pandemic started and as part of that, I’ve been reading French fashion magazines and it’s so interesting how different the approach is. Also Isabel Marant is another good French brand in that “affordable luxury” market. Zadig et Voltaire is nice for some edgier touches and the Kooples is quite cool too but I had some quality issues with some items but other items have been absolutely fine.
Ooh Isabel Marant... that name definitely sounds familiar, I will have to check it out! I do love the vibe of The Kooples - sort of edgy updated 60s mod - but have never purchased anything from there myself. I have been attempting to learn Swedish this past year on Duolingo, which is fun but definitely not the proper way to learn how to speak lol I think I will have to find a tutor or something to really get me going!

The jeans and the black leather jacket were both a little out of my comfort zone but always fun to try something different! You are right about the second outfit. I think the dark, structured jacket is a little much with the dark shorts - maybe styled with lighter pieces might give a less intense look! xx ♥️
