- Ballet has always had an influence on fashion trends. Once again, the ballet aesthetic (now dubbed Balletcore) is set to be a big fashion trend in 2022, with tulle skirts, wrap knits and ballet flats making a comeback.

Ballet core is such a gorgeous trend! I’m soo happy that ballet flats are coming back, although I kept wearing them regardless 😂. Ballet pink is a very flattering shade on me too so I am on a hunt for a pink tank top and a wrap cardigan:)

Also, I do barre which is ballet inspired fitness classes, so I really connect with this. 💕 PS I totally agree with you about ballet flats; they are always in.

Super appreciated the mention of the multi flesh-tone tights. I've noticed you also tend to include reference photos of models with a range of ethnicities and body types, which I think is awesome. Oh and totally separate point; the fit with that pink pleated skirt and shirt combo was to die for imo.

Been dressing like this Since I was a teenager clean line tank tops cardigans/ shrugs but also love sparkly headpieces barrettes elevated loungewear/skirts my uniform is some kind of tank top and sleek cardigan or extremely frilly and romantic. It’s so awesome to know that it has an actual name!! Can cross over into romantic aesthetic / also clean girl aesthetic depending on how your style. Another important tip is try not to wear it all together literally so you don’t look like a ballerina on stage- incorporate key pieces otherwise it could look very costume-y.

I’m just so grateful as an ex dancer now that black ppl and poc don’t have to dye their clothes to match or use makeup to stain their pieces to match their skin now. Wish I had that when I was young
