Another fun way to train is to find a competition at a gun club. The people are always happy to help or lend you something. Great way to practice stress management clearing barriers etc all while having fun.
Agreed! Even just using a shot timer can add some pressure. We will have a few videos out on some different things we will be trying for different training activities!
Great video and good choices there for EDC and range use firearms ! I’ve handled the S&W 34,36 and 38 they all have strong points and I could quite easily carry one with me ! That’s something I’m looking into at this point !
I run a Glock 43x MOS as an every day carry. Yes I know its a Glock but it work for me. As a number 2 gun its either a Glock 19 or 17 I do have others but I am best trained with the Glock platform.
I ordered a Sig P220 Legion 10mm SAO yesterday, so that, a Beretta 92x RDO Compact, P938 Legion and a Sig X-Ten that I may or may not sell. Good stuff guys!
Warm weather; P365: Wilson Frame, Holosun WML, PMM Comp/Barrel, WML. Cool weather/heavier clothing; C2: Holosun 509, Monsoon integral Comp, WML. Both above carried AIWB. P-35; Novak Irons, Trigger Work, mag disconnect removed, BarSto Barrel, etc. Carried in Alessi “Bodyguard” Shoulder Rig- in COLD weather. Occasionally carry a mod 12 S&W in a coat pocket. While this may seem excessive,I was an upper level competitor for years; USPSA, NRA A action Pistol (Bianchi Cup). I have my preferences and tend to carry what I shoot mist effectively, i.e.: “rapidly/accurately”. I’ll add; your Pop, Brian, was one of two Gun Rag writers I held in High Esteem. He WAS NOT the run of the mill shill, and it was obvious he had an Immense amount of experience and skill. I still have a lot of his Load Data for Revolver Reloading. Keep the Dream Alive boys!
Myself long time fan of the 1911 pistol favor the .38 Super, .357 SIG. .45 ACP and 10mm in this pattern gun. I'm a fan of the High Power 9mm owned many but traded them plan on a replacement soon. But use a variety especially in our hot and humid summers. Yet even then I pack a 1911. So I'd think overall the 1911 platform is my all time favorite , but use others including revolvers.

The 43X is a perfect sized edc gun. I've got that one on my list haha. I use a 19 pretty often as well for an edc.
Watch out on those S&W optic plates I've heard of a couple people and seen two people loose zero on the factory plates.
We've got an aftermarket plate for the Smith and Wesson. I actually had one snap off on my 10mm M&P so I typically go with a C&H plate
@@PearceBrothersGearGuide Good to hear it! Didn't realize this video was 6 months old until I had already replied oopsies.
@@LittlyLary no worries! We appreciate the interaction!
Good choices!
Thanks!
