Fortunately I had all my wires labeled correctly. Really starting to look like a rolling chassis, especially with the power and el mod wires on it. Can’t wait to actually be able to power things up! For the American viewers, the magazine says approximately 3 inches. A quick way to measure that is to fold a dollar bill in half. American bills are about 6 inches long
I can see I'll be watching these videos again as the issues arrive. I'm not going to remember all the tips and maybe I can save a couple of headaches down the road. (But are we going to need roads where we're going?)
Wayne, the stands are to take the pressure off the wheels while you're building. A lot of people have broken their wheels from the pressure they're using to screw things down on the car.
I was not aware of the problem with issue 38 but did see that the instructions were clearly wrong but as the numbers in the instructions tied up with the numbers on the wires I unfortunately followed the instructions not the colours. I have just completed issue 91 and the coloured wires on the front left do not match up so now I will have to take it all apart and re-run those wires. Gotta love Eaglemoss quality control!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah, i make sure i watch these videos first before doing em lol. Let others be the test dummy. Luckily, I'm only on issue 38 now so i have a lot of research to do lol
Ive been waiting to see how you tackled the wiring problem if you followed the numbers or colours, i wonder how many builders dont watch the youtube vids and have gone by the numbers? What a pain in the arse that would be to fix later. Nice work wayne.
Australian builders rejoice!!! We've only just got up to this issue down this way and they've fixed the wires/instructions, everything matches. HAHAHHAAAAAA, suffer in your jocks! ;)
Yes 2 are longer to fit over the middle of the chassis, i have just changed mine and re numbered the wires with masking tape so theres no confusion later when it all gets hooked up to the main board or whatever’s going there lol :-)
I am confused with this issue: So the parts page shows the wire colors and numbers which match my wires. I then get to the actual instructions and the numbers don't match. So on the instructions, I follow the colors, not the numbers?
Hey Wayne. The screws are wrong in the instructions and you used the right ones. Just those little "quirks" you get use to with this build lol. Again keep up the good work

Johnny L I’m in exactly the same position mate. Angry beyond words. Snapped both my wing mirrors trying to make it fit before I realised!!!!

yaaay (rolls eyes)
Hi Wayne glad you didnt give up, lots of people have gone with the wire numbers .and not the colours
notsure8 to be honest they all look the same so I don’t think it’s going to matter. I think the colour just helps identify what it’s going too 👍

Another great video, I found the stickers to be completely hopeless. They came off before we finished the wiring on this issue.
😔

Yep
@@WorldofWayneUK thanks Wayne :)
