I'm very late to this build, but watching Wayne's videos during lock-down made me want to go ahead and build it. I've just got to this stage, so thought I'd give this video another watch

another good vid Wayne , if have any double sided sticky tape add a tiny bit around the tip off your tweezers it'll help to hold and grip was handy for the falcon should help on this also

Hello thewuf, did order this build directly from the Eaglemoss website? I’ve never done a model subscription before and am wondering how to do it. I am in the US as well. Thanks for any advice.
haha, funny. I spent a good 90 minutes just on issue 48, after a few choice words and multiple cups of coffee, it was finished with no problems.
It was hard but I think its reputation was blown way out of proportion. Then again. If you have big fingers this issue is going to be a nightmare.
I got the issue, read the instructions, looked at the parts, and came straight to the video.
FINALLY worked up the courage (and the patience) and got it done!
I’m sure issue 48 is pain on the ass all that small details Omg I’m still on issue 17 for now

@@WorldofWayneUK that’s not bad the iron man is 61.59 US dollars a issue and it’s a it’s a bit high per stage I think but the quality is great . I never read the magazines though. Keep up the good content and get well soon.

No it's the Eaglemoss DeLorean build, although I can't imagine hell being much worse!
I'm getting ready to start Issues 15- 19. Just watching this video, I had to rest my eyes! In the words of Shaggy (from Scooby Doo) "ZOIKS!!!"
all this should have been handled like the exhaust pipe's preset in strips you would just have to clip in to place rather then fiddle with it your self.
Know I'm a Johnny-come-lately to this build, but, looking ahead (I know hindsight's 20/20), couldn't you feed that one wire through where it goes in the still? It looks like there's enough room with the door to allow it to do so. I mean, might have to drill a little to get it to fit, but it looks like it should work.

Anyone thinking these are too many wires?? Especially those red ones? I'm thinking of just skipping those red ones. I also just tied those red, brown, white, and black wires together so it looks neater.

This issue wasn't easy as I'm colour blind but I got there in the end. Can't wait for more r2 videos
I'm colour blind too but I have a big magnifying glass next to me :D
Just got done with this issue last night and it took forever. So much harder with my current crappy vision too. I know I should wait until after the eye op, but I do like a challenge and bugga me what a challenge I've set for myself by not waiting. I had multiple magnifying glasses stacked on top of each other at one stage just so I could see the holes where the wires go into the little black plastic board. Had to attack some of the holes with a nail to widen the things cos those wires just didn't want to do as they were told at first. Anyways, job done.... for now. More wires to do in upcoming issues I believe. First appointment with the eye doc in the morrow. Hopefully they can book me in for my replacement eyes soon and the build will start to get a bit easier once I've recovered.
That issue is a nightmare even for the fair of sight
Ha! Finally got to see the specialist and he's fast tracked me to the 3 month waiting list for surgery rather than the 1 year waiting list. Apparently my cataract is rather aggressive, premature and difficult to deal with. Stupid thing's pressed against my retina at the back of my inner eyeball, which means light gets into my eye, but then bounces off the cataract and refracts everywhere which explains why I have triple vision in my left eye now. Oh the joys of being me! :P
What is that filament called, I couldn't see the label from the video. I am going to use the black micro ty-wraps (because I just think the black will look better than the clear). But as a backup I want to have the filament on hand as a backup. Being in the US it will be about a year till I have to look forward to this, I still have time to figure out what else to do. I plan on using mini velcro ties to temporarily hold the wires in place as get the routing done.
Its just 35lb fishing line :D

@@WorldofWayneUK I think he's referring to the golden box on the centre console that flashes into view. From the last video in the sequence it was the standard EM one, but in this one you've modded it with what looks like some wire mesh and some wires inside.
I just finished this issue. Are you supposed to sweat during this part of the build? ...holly hell it sucked. I ended up gluing most of them down and together. lol
