I like the overall shape but have always thought the doors needed to be extended 4 to 6". They just look far too short to me and it throws the proportions out.

And as bad Chad always says you take what you like and throw away what you don’t like and make it your own !! I for one absolutely love the way this car looks Especially putting on them fender flares or whatever they’re called. Bad Chad always pulls off every thing he builds for some reason I always end up loving them. 🍺🍺🤗✌🏼😎😎

I agree with you about the doors. The 2 Dr coupe doors are longer than the 4 dr sedans. It would have made it look better if he would have put the doors off of a coupe on it.

@@MetalMania3DTV-TAS-AUSWhere’s your build? This car is ridiculous, the ass end of this car is HUGE!! But it all blends nicely in my opinion. The changes that Steve would make, might look better… and it might totally wrong. Chad likes what Chad likes… also like it!

I'm torn. It's a 'you get it or you don't situation'. The Frankenstein aesthetic is part of the charm.
Kinda like how some folks like preserving patina, and others can't paint it over fast enough.
(the interior should be done up to the nines though.)

Chad, I’m sure you already know it but when you get to driving the old flat head around, especially if you get up around 50 mph or go long distances, be sure and add lead substitute to your gas so the valves won’t stick to the valve seats and pull little microscopic pieces of metal away from the seats. Those valves were made for an era when gas had lead added to it and I’m not sure what you all have a Nova Scotia, but here in Louisville Kentucky we have to run lead substitute in old vehicles. it’s looking really good you’ve got a good eye for what looks good in home job custom, for sure.

Hello Chad and Jolene, Nice seeing your videos all the time either on FB or RUclips. I love when you have shots outside showing the mountain behind you and some times you catch a glimpse of the look off. It feels like home for me. I am lucky enough to call both the valley and here in PEI home. When I talk to people about "Bad Chad" and having met you both several times they always ask is that what Chad's really like? The simple and honest truth is yes, 100% what you see is the real Chad Hiltz, he doesn't pretend to be something else. A friend from the Island stopped by your place and seems to have either not seen the signs telling people to stay out if nobody is there or ignored but Chad was quick to enlighten them on what the signs meant. Don't blame you at all it is private property and we all don't want strangers wandering around on ours so it goes for use wandering on someone else's. The first time I stopped in I don't know if you remember or not but you were so kind and even gave me a long tour of the shops and tools you had made. You have good reason to be proud of what you accomplished. People should know how giving of your time you are but when you take the time for yourself and family people need to respect that and not bulldoze in. I hope to get back over to the valley sometime next spring. I hope to see what you have going on if its possible, if not you still have a very happy fan and friend here from PEI, take care you guys.
