When cars were an art form. Beautiful. Some truly wonderful vehicles there guys. Classical workmanship of a bygone era, I am blown away. Thanks Alex and team. 🤗🤗🤗
These cars are worth an absolute bomb and it's a crime how they are being left in these poor conditions, its one thing having an old open barn with holes in the roof but another altogether leaving them outside on the lawn 😢.. awesome vlog as always guys 🔥🙌
They would be 'worth an absolute bomb' in good condition, but I doubt if any of them are a sensible restoration project now - maybe the Porsche 356 and 912, and the Lotus Elite would be economically viable, the rest are probably beyond even spares salvage.
Until the roof comes down and crush fragile cars. Actually all of those cars would look very much different if someone took them out. Did some proper washing and cleaning up the interior, engine wash, air in the tires. And put things together a bit. No scrapyard then. The transformation is usually amazing. Then a full restoration is another thing. Then you basically take absolutely everything apart. More or less produce a brand new car. Today we like to keep the patina, still a big investment. Sell them as they are ore store them under better conditions and they will all be worth the investment as times goes by. They do not make anymore of those. The same goes for old beautiful furnitures in those old houses they usually visit. My museum-sense gets activated every time. And the houses too. By the way, pickup looks like its not old at all. And the tractor should work. Not so abandoned maybe.
I can only put it down to alien abductions of those who won’t be missed living out in the middle of nowhere, which is where most of these places seem to be
WOW! There were some absolute gems in that place. I think the blue Porsche in the first barn was a 910 and the one next to it looked like a 912. They were predecessors to the 911 and were built in 1960s. So many classics and they would be worth quite a lot of they were restored. The red Porsche looked like a 944 and the Triumph in the last barn looked like a TR3. Keep exploring and sharing your adventures guys.
Oh My God , those cars are worth a fortune , not only the Bentley , Porsche , MGs' , Austin's and a one of a kind Alvin . Wolseley ' My Dad had one when we lived in Wales , it was a doctors car and very plush . It stood out like a Rolls in a fish market , when he took us out we acted like Royalty , waving at people and smiling those smarmy lip curls . Today remembering those times I feel such a fool . Thank you so much for the memories , God Bless you all , Steve , Ray , Eddy and the master of magic Alex . Stuart in Canada ..
I grew up in the 50s and 60s spotting cars like this. My Grandfather bought lots of cars, trucks and tractors from barns and sheds in Powys and Shropshire. There was even a Rolls cut down as a pickup. Austin Princess hearse used by timberfallers to go to work in the muddy woods. Once my Grandfather, a timber contractor sold mature walnut trees to car manufacturers. My Uncle and Dad had to dig up the walnut roots as well as they have the burls you see in the dashboard veneers . Nothing beats a wood and leather British car with its silent interior doing 100 mph down the country lanes before speed limits! There were so many models in those days and many were hand built.
Wow! what a find! My dad had a Wolsley when i was a kid, i used to be embarrassed when he took me to school, but of course now i look back, it was actually a cool car! They dont make 'em like they used to eh ? some lovely old cars there, shame they are being left to rot like that, they need saving!!! Thx guys for another great explore :)
I can see how your channel goes from strength to strength because of the diversity in urbexing (if that's a word lol ), And that mushroom holding the barn up is one of many very expensive Staddle stones holding a Dutch barn up , keep it up guys always a pleasure watching , amigos 😊
@VacantHaven I just want to say ever since you replied to my comment I've been sooo excited eager to grow my channel. You really, really gave me the drive I needed. I was almost at 1k when you wrote. I sincerely love your videos and trust me, I've seen A LOT of Urbex videos, but NONE "take me along" like you guys do. I truly don't know how to thank you enough or even how to thank you. You guys are the best.I mean that with everything I am.
These cars in the right hands could fetch many hundreds of thousands to a cool million and more. Those are amazing barn finds. These cars need to be restored and enjoyed adding.
Thanks guys for bringing us this find. All those classic cars should be restored. I miss those old cars from the 1960s. Again, I am amazed at how you folks find these places. I noticed this in two other shows of your's; do rich British people like to collect old cars and then leave them to rust?
Nice Alvis in chassis form. AC 2 litre six. Triumph 2000 Roadster Sunbeam Talbot Alpine yes a wonderful mix with what looks like a Lagonda as well. A real return to boyhood and the cars I saw on the street.
Fantastic video guys I'd love to look round them in detail. Some rare cars there and so many restoration projects, the Alvis chassis is a 3 litre model, classification TC21/100, the first 100mph car built
Amazing old classic cars. Someone was collecting these maybe to use parts to assemble. It’s a pity that they’ve been abandoned. I remember all lot of these down memory lane. Thanks guys for sharing this remarkable find.
Didn’t think you guys were uploading today as you didn’t show a sneak peak but I’m glad you did love looking at old cars very interesting cheers guys have a great week see you in the next one ❤😀
What a bloody shame the old cars are just left to rot in the old sheds that are also rotting away ,Don't how you find these places to take us to week after week But this Yank enjoys the hell out of it looking forward to next week thanks Mates
.....steering wheel emblem was Alvis I believe.....some good memories from times gone by there when things were so much simpler than today!!!! Got a few years on Eddie, but bet he remembers a lot of these?.....
Brilliant find Guy's.. A real trip back into automotive history. I see in a few comment folks are saying these vehicles are worth a lot of money. Sadly in the condition that the majority have been left in , they would not fetch very much. You could spend several £thousand restoring each one and you'd loose money selling or auctioning them on. The classic car market has all but collapsed in the UK.
Borgward (Isabella) were a German luxury car manufacturer and were direct competitors to Mercedes in the 1950s /60s. They went bankrupt in 1963 under controversial circumstances
The red Sunbeam Talbot has a reg DKS 511, that's an old Berwickshire (in The Scottish Borders) plate, where I live. I wonder if it belonged to a local farmer (recently deceased) called Mr D K Swan? It would be very interesting to track the ownership of that car, after all Jim Clark competed in a similar car early in his career.
There are still so many barns and sheds full of old cars in the UK. Get the owner to sell them by a reputable auctioneer like Sotheby’s or Iconic Auctioneers, before they rot away completely.
Brilliant find guys. Cars up to 75 years old. Wow. I’m guessing the story behind this is that whoever collected these classic cars died a number of years ago and they’ve been just left to rot. Sad to see them like this. Some are beyond redemption but others could still be saved.
Amazing collection,I recognise the majority of vehicles but a couple had me flummoxed. The owner of the land must be mental, the cars must be worth millions, ok there well goosed but someone would buy the lot if only they new. Fantastic video lads one of your best, I really enjoyed it. If you get a chance to revisit I looks like there could be more to see. Thanks Les.
Incredible video - what is sad is that most of these cars are the extremely rare open - tourer versions At 6.57 , the red Sunbeam-Talbot is in fact the now very rare Alpine version with louvred bonnet, Triumph ( Bergerac ) Roadsters, Bentley Mk V1 , Lagonda .At 4.59 , the chassis is an Alvis , possibly TA21 .The ' Pennant ' is in fact a Standard Pennant , run out model of the Standard 10 .It is poignant is that the collector of these cars had an ' eye ' for a ' desirable ' car , but through age or dissability the shear numbers of them became an encumberance and unmaintainable , reducing them most likely to just salvageable but rare parts .Some just might be salvageable , due to their extreme desirabilty .
Thats a strange one as one of those cars had a new logbook issued in dec 2023 , obviously not on the road but someone is looking after it by keeping it recorded
Jesus fellas. When you see a car with a good interior, shut the doors when you're done! The only reason they survived this long is because they were shut. You just left the Porsche doors open for rain and animals to get it. Even the ones in the shed should be shut.
I have viewed a few of these abandoned(?) property videos - some with a message at the end saying since broadcasting the site has been robbed and vandalised. I hope you can keep this location private - you do bear the responsibility of leaving things as you found them.
A real find and some worth-while makes that would benefit from a resto. I grew up with and owned several of these makes. The black and white Austin A95 near the start, a green Austin A90, a series 2 Wolseley 6/90 next to a rare Austin A90 Atlantic, inside we have others, Standard Vanguard Vignale, the red Sunbeam sports with the louvred bonnet is the tuned Alpine model, the convertible Triumph 1800 Sports and also a razor edge 1800 saloon beside Alvis and Porsche, a mk2 Jaguar, in the hedge I can see a 1954 - ish Humber Hawk. The Penant is a Standard. It updated the late '50's model 8 and 10 and was the for-runner to the Herald. As others have commented below it is a real shame that they have come to this state but there are skilled enthusiasts who would, I'm sure, eagerly take on some to restore. Thanks for your investigations.
OMG! Don’t just leave the cars to rot away. If you guys can do anything to save the cars in the UK, please do it. I wish I was there. Thank you for showing us. This hurts my heart. ❤ I Love Cars.
Guys, you need somebody with you that knows their old cars. Lotus elite! 2 Alvis's Tr2/3 ? my ma in law had a green austin a40 sports chances Off? What a collection.
Nice explore lad's beautiful cars, I'm a bit of a car enthusiast. .... Sorry I missed the premiere, Labor Day weekend here, last day of Summer... Picnicking and all. ... a bit dodgy here these day's here in America, and elsewhere. 😉... Take care, stay safe. ~ Jekyll the Hyde @OGRocker1
amazing video the first White Porsche is worth quite a lot and even in that condition of course like that can reach up to $300,000 in that condition if restored can reach over a million dollars I added up all the vehicles roughly there's close to 7.8 million dollars American in all the vehicles how they are right now it would cost probably 4 million to restore them all to perfect driving condition but then they would add up to 14 to 15 million dollars in the vehicles at auction
Strangely my sister has three borgward Isabella's,seen about 15, in explore vids, her friend races one,1500,cc,do 90,in1954,standard, quite advanced, they made insane military trucks too,Charlie no shoes

Watched this channel for a long while and I'm still fascinated as to why there is so much of this in the UK?

Wow . A Borgward Isabella , that's a really rare vehicle.👌
There was an old guy in Ayr many years ago with 5 or 6 Borgwards, one of them the really rare big six.
Nice Alvis in chassis form. AC 2 litre six. Triumph 2000 Roadster Sunbeam Talbot Alpine yes a wonderful mix with what looks like a Lagonda as well. A real return to boyhood and the cars I saw on the street.

Austin A40 was my dad's first car bless him. The citroen 2CV was ace you could remove the front seats to sit on when youre having a picnic.
The car without the body is an alvis car and is pretty much the same as the one with the body 😊 Alvis in Coventry also used to make tanks 😊
Beautiful cars, it's sad to see them this way, thanks for the video.

There can be nothing worse than acquiring old cars and leaving them to the ravages of the elements, especially in Britain with the rainfall we have.
Tons and tons of beautiful cars. It's a shame they're just sitting there wasting away
Jay Leno needs to see this!…beyond criminal to see these beauties rot into the ground! 🫣

15 minute mark- very rare Austin A90 Atlantic- "In the UK today, it is estimated that fewer than 60 survive, half of them roadworthy."
Quality production of yesteryears car
There's a whole series of Bangers and cash in there.
Oh my days !!!!!!!!!!!!!! The TR. I want that !!!!!!!!!! Seriously Al, do you have any owner details. I can email you. I would really like to buy that
this just breaks your heart,
Evening all 🤗🤗🤗🤗
Some Moto-Lita steering Wheels there too!!
unbelievable seeing the amount of money people had in these videos
Awesome find but such a shame about the cars 😢
Front opening doors were nicknamed "Suicide Doors" in North America. T.A.C. Great Explore.
So many nice Cars...but neglected 😢. Should be preserved and if possible restore to original condition..
12:19 Austin was also a common car brand in Finland . Unfortunately , the were very susceptible to rust.
