Chad , I really like the hub caps with the spinners. The spinners will give a element of movement to the sides. This may be one of your best RUclips builds ever. Thank you both. Best wishes.
Gotta say I really like that Olds grill on the car. Just lift it up a couple inches. As for the tail lights, just keep that awesome flow of the car's lines going!
The olds grill is an excellent choice but it will dominate the front end. Anyone seeing it completed will simply say there's an old Oldsmobile. Customize your car parts for your customize d car. Maybe trim grill ends in stairstep fashion or whatever. Mercury wraparound tail lights a little bit frenched would look outstanding. Your 56 Ford headlight rings with a little extension on bottom like the top might be cool looking. Love the build, keep up the great videos.
Use the rectangular tailights off that 4dr. Also IF you put a single spare on the back it will cover a lot of the waterfall chrome piece instead use 2 spares side by side so the chrome peice stays visible. For the headlights use the rings with the big overhang like eyebrows it will make the stick out even further. Just my thoughts. Enjoy watching you work like a master making a masterpiece!
I think the 'brand new's' 39/40 have the edge, they hold the same form lines as the grille. Do the extended headlight rims. The spare wheel mounted on the installed 18 plate giving clearance for the boot opening/access. End of the day choice is yours and daresay it'll have the 'je ne sais quois' Nice one guys👍
i watch you all the time. i'm a fan of restoration back to as exact original as possible. i admire your vision and fab skills to make what you like. keep it up chad and jolene.
Chad: the rear of the Pontiac flows so nicely. Keep the tail lights simple. Or You could use Imperial tails lights and a trunk wheel cover. The car is looking great. Don’t make it look gaudy!!! Keep it simple and elegant. Don’t forget to reply to comments. We are never too big to be humble. Cheers
Jolene that is awesome choice for the grill but I would raise it to the top and fill the bottom because it matches the shape so well. Other then the original grill I would choose your choice for sure. But please don't let him add metal to the top of the fenders.
At first, I thought that the car just wasn't going to end up looking very good. But seeing it all done and out in the sunlight, I have to say that it looks great. I love the fadeaway fenders and the chop was just right. Well done.
Joline nailed the front grill. I wouldnt hang spare tire over trunk lid because it has a lot of cool details. 12:19 mins into vid i like the conti spare tire. How about frenching that into rear deck behind the rear glass. Theres a ton of real estate there and think it would be a cool place to put it. Definitely bullets on hubcaps.
That Pontiac looks elegant... Koool! I like those 54 Merc headlight rims; I have an identical pair I'm putting on my 52 Plymouth Concord fastback. That 46 Olds grille is superb, with the gravel guard in place it'd raise up the grille! I like those Karmann Ghia tail lights...
Chad, you make the choices on the grill and taillights and we will either compliment or criticize when you make your decisions. Like the 55-56 headlight doors (I think they make the car look in motion especially when it is lowered) but the decision in the end is all yours. It'll be your individualized car so it will be what it will be. If I had that many parts to chose from I'd be having the same confusion you do. 🤞
I'm 79 and this is my era of custom cars. I was thinking today of when canted quad headlights were cutting edge then they faded into history, then you mentioned them for the coupe. Hard to install? It would be the first new custom built in the early style that had them that I've seen, if you go that route. Packard tail lights are a classic look.Great video as always. Thank you.
the design and metalwork are marvelous ! Of course, without the essential fine grinding, surface prep, and, yes PAINTING , it is a dead Frankenstein fantasy. I would certainly enjoy you breathing the additional life into this build - there is so much poteitial there !
That car would look great with a 1954 Buick grill , it would look like GM designer Harley Earl's Y Job that he drove as his personal car back in the forties. The Pontiac is turning out great. That grill you are carrying around is a 47 or 48 Olds .
I love the way y’all these cars I watch every show so entertaining I use to do a lot off fabbrcating on old muscles cars and never bout new body parts always made my own parts by hand with very little power tools 80 percent by hands tools I’m 66 years old now can’t do that any more but that’s why I watch you and jolean work I love it keep doing what you love
Nice job - better than expected! I prefer the hubcaps that are already on it. The grille suggestion is good too but I would lift it up the meet the lower edge of the hood. Looking forward to the next instalment.
Use weld through primer for those hard to reach places like inside the door pods etc, before you weld them shut because that bare metal will rust quickly and after welding shut you will not be able to get to them. Great job so far. I love your work ethic and creativity
I like the grill...looks awesome and it kinda matches the center of the hood...I like the hubcaps with the spinner and bullet...continental kit should look cool 😎...I think either the brand new taillights or the Volkswagen taillights...not the bug the other ones...shop looks to be coming right along...gonna be nice....cool episode...cya tomorrow Chad and jolene
I like what you do Chad/Jolene. That comment at the end "do it your way" is what this hobby is all about. You guys have opened my eyes to different ways to achieve a result. Sure there are naysayers but screw them, as long as we are happy working towards our goals that is what is imporant in life IMO. Keep it up, we appreciate you showing us your work.
!hi Chad and jolene i like the look of 39 or 40 Ford tail light the new one you showed and the grilled that Jolene liked I really like the looks of that makes it look nice if you raised it up just a little bit I think it would look really super have a great day and hope your new building gets completed pretty soon before it starts snowing keep putting out the videos I love watching them this is George from Northern California USA
I like the grill Jolene picked and that you set in place, looks good and fills the gap nicely. Should take a few modifications and be a neat done deal. The new Ford taillights would be a nice touch, fill the void nicely and look smart in place. Just my dime, thanks for the opportunity to let your viewers state their opinion, keep up the great work and keep on keeping on, do enjoy watching your videos from Topeka, Kansas.
At first I couldn't understand cooking that cool long car. It looks way better than I thought it would. I think the fade should go to the front of back fender instead of that short horizontal piece wedged in there, just a sensible suggestion from my brain, lol! You've come a long way in your developments. It's rad, Mr. Chad!
I think it would be cool to incorporate that recessed spare wheel well off the back of that Hupmobile sedan in your yard on the Pontiac. You can still use some of the continental kit parts with it. Also, that Edsel TV style speedometer would make a perfect backup camera bezel!
I like your process. I like the Olds grill and headlight extensions. The best taillights to me are the Packard in Horizontal position. Looked up 54 Desoto and 40's Desoto then came across 1950 Pontiac taillights to consider. Enjoy your channel. Cheers.
Chad and jolene love the choice of grill it really suites the style also I think you should fit the back lights you have in the box's shaped like a double v also I like your choice of front light pods that you have on the table the ones you had made but haven't used yet .the build is looking absolutely awesome 👌. Keep up the great work the both of you 👍 👏
I wonder if you can take the 51/52 Ford truck grill at (9:50) in the video and integrate it as a dual headlight setup coexisting with the current fenders.
Damn guys, there is plenty of choice. 👀 The front grille looks fine to me. Beautiful bad. 👍 The front headlights would also leave the original ones, maybe I would add an eyelid... For the rear lights, on the other hand, I can't decide which one to choose. Those of the beetle aren't bad, but those boobs would be fine too. But before deciding I would put the spare wheel housing, and then see which rear lights match best. Perhaps the spare wheel can be placed higher, between the rear window and the trunk. The new building is growing great, wonderful
Hey Chad, the car is looking good. Love the front grill Jolene picked out. I would lift it up a few inches, however. I also like the last tail lights you found brand new in a box. That would blend well with the curve of the trunk area. Not liking the sombrero hub caps, however. I think it needs some spoked covers with spinners. Take care and keep it up!
The car and the grill is very wonderful very good job to you and Johnny and chant God bless you all the way hear from Louisiana keep up the good work I’m learning a lot Can’t wait to see the choice of tail lights in the rear of the car it is very very nice Wallace from New Orleans Louisiana
Car looks real good Chad and Jolene, the only thing I might like to have seen is the trunk lid a little larger to make up for such a large tail section. That would probably only be really for convenience using the trunk though. Shes another work of art by Bad Chad and Queen Jolene 👸. Smiles 😃 from Huntsville Ontario Canada 🇨🇦
One more comment. Jolene editing skills are top notch. Very professional. Plus she has auto creative skills. Make sense? Then you are able to produce a unique vehicle. And it doesn't need to be a hot rod. Go Bad Brad.,
The fabrication of the car is moving right along. The vision is taking form! The best choices are made by the designers. Thanks for sharing. Great work!
Also, glad you are getting a new shop. You need the ample room to work in. I never liked working in cramped small shops and I've worked in a lot of them back in the70s, 80s and 90s. Right on to you sir!
I like the grill and the headlight buckets and surrounds… I think they work well with the fenders. I want to like the””boob” taillights but I think they protrude too far. I do like the chevrons. Do they have built in blue “hot dots”?? If so I like them centered on the rib of the fender as you held it up Chad. Awesome build. I’m not a fan of the continental spare…I just think that rear end looks sexy as is. Just a North Carolina man’s two cents. Love the vids and your techniques. Sometimes I think uh oh, it’s gonna hit a brick wall and never work…and you make it flow like a breeze. Amazing to watch.
Chad love those Blue head light rings, and I vote french in some cadi bullets at tail lights. the grill you put in from Lift it up and fill in the top to make her flow. and I hate to see tail lights out in the door yard. you should box them up and store the all in one area to make finding them so much easier for future builds. Those glass and plastic lenses are so hard to find and leaving them in the elements ( Snow Rain and sunlight aint going keep them in good nick for long.
Wow! You absolutely nailed that 4 door car!! Such a soft flowing look. Flat steel molded to long lean smooth perfection. Can hardly wait to see it come alive with the color of "love". Lol Nice effin job on this one Chad!!
Sunbraro wheell caps, the VW bug tail lights, so many ideas to choose from. And that grill...OLDS...and Continental Kit on top of the old back seat area
Just my opinion, I see the karmann ghia tail lights, one of the continental spares on back, the packard grille cut down, the 55 Ford headlight doors behind the containers, (I like headlights w/eyebrows) up front, the Pontiac disc hubcaps, not sure about bumpers tho, seein the Olds grille sitting on it may have changed my mind about that, lol
Hi I am a total supporter - great in watching how it is all done. But, I still think the roof is a little too short . But it certainly looks stylish . Waiting to see what engine is used.
This grill looks great like it would made for the Pontiac. It should ( in my mind) come up about 3-4 inches, nearly on to the top of the front fender. I love your selection of parts!
the car looks good congrats to the coupe master gene would be proud of ya! im holding out hope we can talk ya into cutting up one of those old cars and make a cool truck.ranchero, elcamino type coupe..lol..but we will watch ya cut n weld no matter what ya do,as long as your happy!
I kinda like the 40 ford tail lights,,and I’m all for the continental kit on the trunk door too,I like the grill you brought in from outside also,,But I’m sure what ever you two deside on will look fantastic too, so I’m just watching,,lol lol,,👍👍😀
I'm liking the olds grille, with the headlight rings you have on the table. I really can't see the VW taillights at all, they look too Volksy lol. I think something smallish and frenched in. Full hubcaps with spinners will work very well.
I´d use the original taillights, they totally match the car and body shape. Packard taillights are great, too - but keep the position they´re mounted. Hubcaps and grill look cool on it.
Put the plate back on the top of the front bumper then set that grill back on top of that plate. That way it will be higher and you won’t have to put so much metal between the hood and the top of the grill
Hot rod John yeah by lengthening the deck lid at the top where the hinges are moving that forward towards the rear window and linkedin in it I think it would make it much more uniform because you have that large sheet metal area between the deck lid and the window what I'm trying to say
Well how about that….the doors open and close perfectly 👍. Seems Chad knows ‘exactly’ what he’s doing 👌. Car looks so cool. Well done Chad, Jolene…and the ‘class of 22’ 👍.
❤❤❤ Chad & Jolene the car is coming together fabulous it has been very entertaining watching this build coming all together. Just a thought before you were to decide on the taillights on the car you might want to decide what the spare tire rack on the back trunk hood looks like first then see how the taillights that you pick blend in with the spare tire rack. Love your channel Chad & Jolene 👍👍👍
Love the grill, I liked those wire wheels u had high in the rack above where u grabbed the grill from that little shed,I'd go a tear drop headlight ring ,and gotta have rear wheel spats!
Hey Chad! Really liking the vw tailights hope that’s what your going with they seem to match the flow of the car and those hub caps are a show stopper! Chew’n at the bit with this build I am! Thanks for sharing see ya tomorrow
I wouldn't get too wound up on it.. i've done that several times, he could shove it aside and chop something else up at any time. if a squirrel happens to run past he will lose interest and start something else, i'm STILL waiting on the cab-over to Re-appear and actually get completed.. IT was my Favorite build..
I think the Volkswagen tail lights are the common gear tail lights would look really nice in that as far as the front headlights that other set of buckets that you have and then put the lights in behind it would look nice love the show keep it up
I would French the 53 Mercury headlight rings . Install the Oldsmobile grille about two inches higher. As for tail lights go with the 59 Cadillac two per side one above the other French into the rear fender corner. The car needs to be dropped 4 inches in the front and 6 in the back to give it a tail dragger look.
I like the rectangular Packard taillights as opposed to some of the more obvious ones ! Your a lucky fella, getting to work this art and have a beautiful lady by your side !
Magic Chad. Everything seems very simple, but this is professional work. Very inspiring how Chad and Jolene work together, amazing collaboration, will there be a wedding next year?
Yeah you can make a 40s car look like a 30s car I've seen it done some body styles didn't change much. Putting n the fade away change the look of it and the Car don't even have skirts on it maybe some 30s style skirts long type rather than the turtle shell skirts?
don't take metal down to the Olds grill. place the grill higher & fill any metal below the grill. any welds would be hidden and fewer welds. I like the 1959 Caddy tail lights. Use the new headlight cans. those new chevron tail lights look awesome. you could put them on up or down & get a different feel.
Dude you got some really good stuff. I'm not sure about the Olds' grille. Its about the same model as the Pontiac. You got some of the best junk around.
Chad I like the headlights that stick out a little bit and those Plymouth? long thin taillights would look cool that were were in the small barn are my pick . since you were asking! car is transforming into a cool custom.
Love the "continental spare" idea! Also I think rear fender skirts would look good on this unique body. It is looking pretty amazing thus far!
The olds grill is an excellent choice but it will dominate the front end. Anyone seeing it completed will simply say there's an old Oldsmobile. Customize your car parts for your customize d car. I was just following Chad's lead he'd said they could be 39/ 40 ....but brand spanking👍
Just realised...🤪🙄😁👍💕
i watch you all the time. i'm a fan of restoration back to as exact original as possible. i admire your vision and fab skills to make what you like. keep it up chad and jolene.
Chad: the rear of the Pontiac flows so nicely.
Keep the tail lights simple.
Or
You could use Imperial tails lights and a trunk wheel cover.
The car is looking great.
Don’t make it look gaudy!!!
Keep it simple and elegant.

I love the tail lights you had in the boxes that you last brought out
Turn them down to match the pattern of the grill.

The Coupe is fantastic. Thank you for sharing some of the options for lights, grill etc. What a lot of thought goes into your creations.
the design and metalwork are marvelous !

I prefer the hubcaps that are already on it. The grille suggestion is good too but I would lift it up the meet the lower edge of the hood.
Looking forward to the next instalment.

One of your best profiles ever. Making the sides from the hood halves took amazing imagination and works perfectly.
Chad and jolene love the choice of grill it really suites the style also I think you should fit the back lights you have in the box's shaped like a double v also I like your choice of front light pods that you have on the table the ones you had made but haven't used yet .the build is looking absolutely awesome 👌. Indeed it does look good. Chad has done it again. Jolene's videos have been amazing too.
@gringo loco keep it respectful Sir.
@gringo loco show some respect, she is a man's mate for crying out loud.😡
I wonder if you can take the 51/52 Ford truck grill at (9:50) in the video and integrate it as a dual headlight setup coexisting with the current fenders.

Wow. Those side fades made the world of difference. That is now a very beautiful car. Great work.
Really loving this build as all your builds and very jealous of your new shop!!!! Looks awesome
Maritime proud
Beautiful. You guys rock. Never mind the haters , what they think is none of your business. Absolutely amazing work!
All your treasures are going to look amazing in the new shop , wow
The fabrication of the car is moving right along. The vision is taking form! The best choices are made by the designers.
Thanks for sharing. Great work!
Also, glad you are getting a new shop. You need the ample room to work in. I never liked working in cramped small shops and I've worked in a lot of them back in the70s, 80s and 90s. Right on to you sir!
I love that grill and wheel covers. Gosh what a beauty!!
I always love watching you work. You are a creative genius!

I really like the VW and Karmen Ghia taillights and the Oldsmobile grille. The car is really looking good, very long and sleek. Thanks!
Another vote for Karmen Ghia taillights !!
Wow! You absolutely nailed that 4 door car!! Such a soft flowing look. Flat steel molded to long lean smooth perfection. Can hardly wait to see it come alive with the color of "love". Lol
Nice effin job on this one Chad!!
This was a very interesting parts hunt and nice view of your new building. All looking good! I also like the grill
Definitely digging the olds grill and the sombrero hubcaps. Definitely go with the continental kit on the back. Real tail dragger 👍👍👍
that original grill is amazing. and those headlight buckets you've had for a while looked very nice on it!!!! lots of good choices on taillights.
Hi Chad, Looks great! At 8:05 you looked at some mercury tail lights that I think would look great, right on the edge of the rear fenders.
love the way you approach things while fabricating Chad. Amazing work!
Looking Very Nice....Lots of Treasures for Parts as well...Amazing Shop
Hi I am a total supporter - great in watching how it is all done. But, I still think the roof is a little too short . But it certainly looks stylish . Waiting to see what engine is used.
That merc grill is definitely the one …. Absolutely love it and the 39 tail lights with the blue dots again really suit the car . Looking bad ass
find this fascinating, looking thru all these old classic car parts 👍✌️
This grill looks great like it would made for the Pontiac.
It should ( in my mind) come up about 3-4 inches, nearly on to the top of the front fender.
I love your selection of parts!
the car looks good congrats to the coupe master gene would be proud of ya! im holding out hope we can talk ya into cutting up one of those old cars and make a cool truck.ranchero, elcamino type coupe..lol..but we will watch ya cut n weld no matter what ya do,as long as your happy!
One has to give Jolene a lot of videography talent, following him around through all the mess and keeping the camera steady!
Looks cool with the grill....like the the look of the new tail lights that you took out of the bow!!!!
Getting it outside helps a lot to see the big picture and i find the shape very pleasing to the eye. Balanced and Proportional. D
I’d go with the 2 Cadillac taillights frenched in on both sides. And go with the original headlight bezels. Just my thought. Looks Awesome Chad!
Well how about that….the doors open and close perfectly 👍. Seems Chad knows ‘exactly’ what he’s doing 👌. Car looks so cool. Well done Chad, Jolene…and the ‘class of 22’ 👍.
Those last taillights look a little art deco and that's cool
❤❤❤ Chad & Jolene the car is coming together fabulous it has been very entertaining watching this build coming all together. Just a thought before you were to decide on the taillights on the car you might want to decide what the spare tire rack on the back trunk hood looks like first then see how the taillights that you pick blend in with the spare tire rack. Love your channel Chad & Jolene 👍👍👍
Love the grill, I liked those wire wheels u had high in the rack above where u grabbed the grill from that little shed,I'd go a tear drop headlight ring ,and gotta have rear wheel spats!
I think the beetle taillights would fit nicely on the fenders. Also that grille looks awesome.
I definitely wouldn't use those.
I think the 40 ford tail lights or the frenched in cadi bullet tail lights would look great. Bill
Congratulations on the new huge shop
Man that thing looks awesome,I love your ideas for next few steps.
Beautiful creation. If it was mine, I would not paint it, but clear coat the bare metal to show how it was made. Your fan in Sweden.
Dude you are a One of a Kind Fabricator! I can’t say there is anyone out there who does what you can do.
I think the Volkswagen tail lights are the common gear tail lights would look really nice in that as far as the front headlights that other set of buckets that you have and then put the lights in behind it would look nice love the show keep it up
three Frenched in 59 Cadi vertical on each side , and the grill that Jolene picked out looks good!
Hey I like the merc tail lights that were outside. Mount in the rear quarters, they looked thin enough to mount smoothly on the outer edge.
Do the spare tire on the trunk before you decide on taillight’s. Great job guys
Your creative energy is incredible. Def another level. God bless you!!!
I like the rectangular Packard taillights as opposed to some of the more obvious ones ! Your a lucky fella, getting to work this art and have a beautiful lady by your side !
You are a hell of a fabricator. Hard worker. Basic tools. I love it. 👍 Oh yeah, Jolene and you are a good fit. Lovely.
One vote for the Cadillac tail lights!!!
Really like the fadeaways but now I think you might need some fender skirts in the back maybe three quarters not full size
I 100% agree with Jolene on the grill in the shed for the car!
One maritimer to another and a former valley boy my vote would be on them brand new tail lights. Amazing build and content as always.
