I learn so much watching these videos very grateful chad makes these videos this way.
I love the fact that Jolene will try anything to get the shot. It's not easy working around Chad. He had to get into all these different positions to get the job done. Thank you Jolene
Thanks Chad for supporting the idea it's wonderful to build a vehicle that's envisioned within our own mind's eye ! I'm getting flack from outsiders whom have a much different outlook than what I'm designing for my own use & recreational purpose ! Letting go of their dream & staying true to mine is refreshing ! I will build & am building my Suzuki Samurai into a tiny 1940's style dodge flat fender narrow hood metal grill Army ambulance .. Head lights on the fender .. it's coming along ! There's not another one like it ! I can't wait to use it & enjoy it ! keeping it light weight & using all my auto body experience & the tricks of the trade .. not to mention a skill set that I have not lost with age ! there's so many new technology proven helpful supplies available too ... my old school craft hasn't lost it's place either ! Thanks again Chad for all the tips & encouragement .. ! Keep .. keeping on ! I am retired & old & love the journey ahead !
I know some people doesn't like the way Chad does things, but it doesn't matter how you get it done as long as you're having fun and the end result looks awesome and that's what he does and his results look great!
He is Great.
Build for yourself not others
it's not what we like it's how can you call yourself a custom car builder when half the shyt your doing is doing it wrong it's jus a waste of time do it right in the end you'll get more money one day but this car he's doing is worth nothing I'd never buy it for $100,000 it's only worth $2500 everything he's doing is plastic go build barbie dolls lol......
@@tylervanbiezen804 I'm talking about his fabrication skills, he is an excellent fabricator.
@@kimberlywilliams9757 he is but that's all he is a fabricator he doesn't know nothing about engines tires brakes spindles suspension steering etc etc he jus knows how to mangle cars and weld up his mistakes I've yet to see him make a car he can sell for $100k at barrett Jackson auction block
Looks awfully GOOD. Thanks MS. Jolene for keeping Sir CHAD in and on line🥰 We love BOTH of yours work. Thank you.
Man you a beast with those tools. Glad to see someone who still uses their hand and eyes to make things. I’m glad I found this channel!! Keep up the good work brother
I don't like doing things cheap, cheap, but I do appreciate thrifty useful ideas. Keep up the good work till most everyone understands your methods.
With Jolene's impute into your projects she's giving you added tips that kind of finishes off the project's with a classy touch.
Every day it just looks better and better. Nobody….NOBODY else builds a car in the crazy short time frame you guys do. 👍👌
It’s truly inspiring when ya can see it in real time come together so quickly and learn from one of the best car builders in the world. Keeping the costs low and pumping out a world class product well I’d have to say Chad is the best at that!
I enjoy seeing the progress. Different cars different repairs. The process is part of the journey. Good work Chad and Jolene!!
My wife SO loves the notes taped to the coupe. WOW, such CLASS !!
Chad, you are truly a artist. Jolene, you are an excellent camerawoman. The seamless zooming and angle changing is impressive. I know you both have put in a lot of work to make everything look so second nature. Thanks and keep up the good work, folks!
I can’t believe how easy Chad makes the metal work look that is not that easy!!!!! Like this build!!! Looks great!!
I stand corrected Chad, this has turned into a cool 2 door coupe (My 1st thought was the car should have been saved as original). I love the flowing lines and I was impressed with the outcome of the headlights and grill. Job well done and it was entertaining to watch.
I think that the more he got deeper into the build he found errors others tried to fix . So I'm glad he did a build on this car . It would of taken a lot of cash to reserect it as an original car again . But as this car he's done a wonderful job . Choped it mixed it up just like making a salad . I'm super impressed how he can with little cash produce an awesome ride that's a one off each time .
Oh heck what do I know eh Chad's the one with all the answers . Thumbs-up Norman 👍
You are a surgeon with a angle grinder. Awesome work! Thanks for sharing your work with us.
It looks fabulous bad Chad !!
I like all the details of the build. Jolene you do a great job
Great work of both of you, we're learning lots of stuff every day how to get the job done in a pretty short amount of time , thanks for sharing
BEAUTIFUL JOB!!!!! BE A VERY INTERESTING NEXT SEVEN DAYS. THANK YOU BOTH FOR SHARING THIS WONDERFUL BUILD!!!!!
Love the car , I think it's one of your best builds ! Would like to see a small block 400 Pontiac with a 3 duce set up , Awesome job Chad & Jolene !
Hi
I knew you could not bend drip rail by hand without collapsing or kinking. The way they are layered in the roof structure it's amazing they don't all rust off in a few years.
All the custom touches are making this a sweet ride. Thanks Chad and Jolene!
Keep up the good work Chad and Jolene! I've learned a lot of good techniques and know-how by watching you. Most of all to work on what makes you happy and do it your way.
Love it . Chad and Jolene, you folks never cease to amaze me . Great job !
Chad & Jolene it amazes me the things that people find to critisize about. My thought is when they do their car they can do it the way they want and when you are working on your car you do it the way you want.
Great job guys. 👍
The to-do list is a good idea but you forgot to write: paint the car before it rusts. 😉
Chad your awesome with these old cars. I would like to see you do some late 1960s cars or 1970s . Chevelle, Camero, Monte Carlos, even some ) late 1960 Cutlasses, and many other cars of those years you have mastered these older cars your the king of them . Here in fhr south where I'm at in Alabama all across the south we love old 1960 cars and 1970. Each year they have cars shows with cars like your doing here now. If you would get interested in the 60 and 70s you would make alot of money from these people in the south I know it's not all about the money but i knos you would masyerthose cars also down in Florida Miami man they go all out you and your lady should check it there not just 60 and 70s car there alot older cars like you do also you the master Jesse James don't got shit on you jesss I hope you read this Chad I'm one of you biggest fans sir keep it rolling sir. I'm available to help work if you ever need help just let me know Im pretty good doing just about anything but I wanna learn alot more especially your paint method
I just saw your grind away a weld on the rear of the car and that changed the entire look actually that looks really good! I'm impressed
Jolene at first I did not like the way the drip rail was looking, but thanks to your closeups I now see exactly what he is going for. Great video skills Jolene. Bill
Love the Custom Look Built Like a Tank Keep up the good work Chad and Jolene!
I agree with Jolene, smoothed welds looks more finished, and adds class to a really stylish build. Remember smooth and rounded?.
I’ve just gotta say, your not breaking any rules mate, as there is no rules in creating art. I love your style, I love your builds, when you can make something with what you got laying around your already winning! Take care Chad, Dino Brisbane.. keep them coming mate.
This is an awesome build thanks for showing and explaining is such detail, incredible work!
I like to start by saying that I admire your determination in what you're doing! And it also like to say you can give 100 antique cars to hot rod builders and when they're finished everyone will be different! I believe why some people don't like the way you did your headlights is because it disturbs the flow of the fender. I noticed that you like Smooth flowing things and I know I'm being super critical but the headlights seem to disturb that flow. I believe once all the welding is ground down I believe the car is going to look totally different, and I can't wait until you paint it because you do excellent paint work! Please say hello to your wonderful wife and keep on keeping on.
Nice drip rail and polished weld seams. Thank you, enjoy watching every day.
I like the look of what's happened to the Pontiac I think rear fender skirts with smaller clone versions of the fade aways on the skirts would be badass
You make such creative custom touches Chad , great camera work Jolene .
Well that came out good,,the grinding looks real good too,it’s sure looking pretty,,thank you so much brad an Jolene an fina too, I’m sure she’s there some place,, lol,,,👍👍😀
I think the people that are complaining have never worked on a car and have this mentality that you should do it the way you are supposed to. I love your style of customizing it is definitely unique and I love it ❤️
Hey Chad cool deal with the chrome . A sculptor of art and imagination/ great pictures and closeups.
Chad the bumper thumper! Cheers
Merci Chad pour ces vidéos.Simple particulier qui retape sa voiture, vous travaillez un peu comme nous, artisanalement avec quelques astuce simples mais qui nous aident.
I keep on missing the start of it because the clocks change here in the UK. the re run is just as good great job on the drip rail Chad. Every small change makes it look better & better. Keep up the great work. Who knows what it will be like for you in a few years time when all cars are electric. Hey maybe you could have a bash at building an electric vehicle Haha.🤫
Maybe a nice idea for the roof would be to do a opera window …. Like from the Lincoln mark series or like the round port window like the T Bird had in the hard top 55 or 56 model . I feel it would give it a finished look .
The round window like the Tbirds would look great I think, but it's their custom build and I highly doubt they would do it.
Looking forward to seeing you and Jolene in person at Toronto Motorama in the spring of 2023.
Keep up the hard work you two
Jolene is right about the seams. 🙂👍
The boss has made a list of what has to be done. It's the small details that take the most time.
I like that Jolene is task oriented, by the way I like what you guys did with the headlights and brake lights, those turned out better than I thought. Oh yeah it looks like your guys garage is coming along hopefully you guys can start parking cars inside it before Christmas.
correct kimberly..there is an on and of button. I really like What this couple are doing..👌 Always loves hot rods.🇸🇪
Hi it is lookin grate u both do a fantastic job the only thing that’s buggin me is the rear wheels not in central of the arch or fender but the rest of it looks good keep up the grate work 👍👍🤟🤟
Hey Chad! Looking real good! excellent work once again. Stay safe😀😀
Gosh I love this car! You work so hard Chad! I respect You so much!
Looks fantastic
That would be a real head turner if you painted it a nice two tone combo. Oh yeah!!
Chad is using round rod and making it work. Jolene is always amazing with the camera work.
Looking good Chad and Jolene
Looks great!!!!
The car turn nice I love every one of ur car that you have done and can't wait for next one to come
Keep on keeping on! ❤
Looking awesome Chad and Jolene
Love the transformation of this car.
Jolene you did a great camerawork & Chad is doing a fantasic body fabrication!
Cool, I see the knee pad I was wanting you to use. Hard floors are bad for the knees.
Good job on drip rail and grinding so quick and easy.
Hi Chad and Jolene
Jolene always gets the right shot with the camera, great work Jolene. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Chad the hood and trunk chrome moldings can that be replicated on the body between the trunk and the rear window.
Great work
Great job Chaddy.
The car looks good, nice work.
Great job
Man
Liking every bit of it.
The car is looking great chad and jolene
Love every moment of your project.
Very nice metal work
Awesome, Thanks
Another great video thanks guys
..and the car looks fantastic
Beautiful job
Drip rail looks good
Back again, pressed like button!!
Thanks Chad. For showing us amateurs 😊. Can’t wait until it’s rolling.
Awesome 👍😎.
The drip rail looks so much better. 🙂 Now the character line on the top of the door window frames needs the same treatment -- curve the ends down.
Enjoying the show! keep up the good work!
If the car will be used as display leave one side weld seams alone so people can see weld places before grinding down smoother. It also would show how many replacement panels that can be in a project .
Always amazing the work he does.
I never understood why Chad stops ("were now up to 23 days and we're going onto 30 days then we'll go onto something else"). These projects look fantastic and if they don't get finished, there's a sort of anti-climax to all his projects. I personally get depressed and switch YT channels for a while just to see finished projects.
You should have drew a line and used your plasma cutter to cut a slot and put a piece of 18 gauge steel in the slot and tacked it on the backside ground it off and then put your right angle piece on for the drip rail.
Chad and jolene nice job on the build it's really looking good for sure. But will you be putting a clear coat lacquer on the car to stop the rust setting back in ?keep up the great work the both of you 👍 👏
Brother.... this is a bad ass damn ride !!! 💪🏼💪🏼 Holy shit YESSSSSSSSS
You are a good metal man Chad!
That's a old school grinding disc pad they work great on welds and that Eastwood stripper me and my son are redoing a 80 model firebird we got one of those it works a lot better than a DA but you still have to go back over it with a da I really like the Eastwood stripper don't put metal all over metal like I always say you can't make all the people happy all the time keep on keeping on
Looking good
Explain why rear tires not centered in well.
Can also heat it and bend it, the right way
Great looking car
Keep up the good fight crew
I think you're going to have a stunning coupe in bare metal once yiuve finished Chad. With a few coats of clear coat should look awesome 👌 👍
I will agree with Jolene;; grind all the seems.
Great project love it ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
greetings from Estonia, good friends
