The dress she got for her last live, shout in crisis (and it's amazing looking). And this song is from her latest album, specter(number 1 digital and 4 overall in Japan), and of course all the songs are bangers

The outfit Suisei is wearing is from her recent concert Shout in Crisis so technically she's worn it twice but this is the first time for those who didn't watch the concert.
Anyway Suicopath slayed again with one of her new songs!

Watching Suisei perform on stage is like watching my imaginary daughter finally be recognized as an idol after so long.

I wouldn't call Michizures lyrics "upbeat". It's the usual partnering of really "happy" sounding instrumentals with depressing and thought provoking lyrics that's so common in Japanese music. Hell Japan has produced absolute banger songs that you just absolutely want to vibe to but then you read the lyrics and it's about mental health and suicide...

Like Flyers from Death Parade. It is such a bop. But man. The show and the songs lyrics 😭

I mean, he didn't say the lyrics were upbeat, he said the song was and her behavior was. Though "upbeat" is used to metaphorically describe demeanor and lyrical meaning, its literal meaning relates to music, to the beat. So, while the lyrics are not, she and the music were.

@@effortlessfury yes ikr? when ppl say 'upbeat' it usually refers to the music tempo

As a Japanese person, I'm looking forward to funny reactions from foreigners who don't know Japan about their off-topic and mispronounced words.
