    Fun fact, the guitarist in the video was the composer of the studio version of Stellar Stellar in Suisei's 1st Solo Album. Taku Inoue, the guitarist, is a renowned composer in Japan and has also composed for games such as Tekken 7. The original version of Stellar Stellar can be found in Suisei's Channel
    Suisei and Taku Inoue formed a musical unit called "Midnight Grand Orchestra" they released a mini EP as a unit.

    Suisei wrote the lyrics to Stellar Stellar herself. You get a real sense of how much she hates mornings from ‘em 🙃. This recording session was scheduled for 12:30 pm, and Suisei doesn’t usually wake up until 2 in the afternoon. She tried to get them to move it later but in the end she had to go in there and make history, despite being a bit groggy.

    You should definitely check out the original Stellar Stellar! It's a totally different feel, and the English CC on it are way better (and also match up perfectly to the Japanese lyrics if people want to do covers of it!). Suisei has also sung this song live several times, and also has a second First Take of a new song, Michizure, on her newest album.
    The guitarist is the original composer, Taku Inoue! And it was the very first song in her second solo live. You can just search "Hoshimachi Suisei 2nd solo live "Shout in Crisis", and it's at 33:40

    I just want to say, if this is your first time hearing about Hoshimachi Suisei, you'll probably appreciate the video titled "The Story of Hoshimachi Suisei."
    It's pretty long but honestly catches you up to a lot of her struggles as a v-tuber and nearly quitting at one point. Also Suisei's First Take video came after she got surgery when a lot of fans were worried that she might not have ever been able to sing again.

    You onow why i love this song? It's because it feels like this is what she tells herself in the mirror to motivate herself and achieve what she has now

    at the start when you say the people you know is really nice, i'd say is the nicest place i have been by far, as an internet community, i consider it the best, we have some bad reputation here and there(and lets be fair there are some creepy people, besides the jokes and banter, but those are like the 0.000000001% of people) but the most wholesome shit i have seen in a community by very far, specially accepting of others and i have never seen a strong discussion (i mean not friendly or throwing shit) about anything.

    i highly recommend listening to more of her discography, she is amazing.
    she just had a second appearance on the first take , with a song called `michizure`with cc that are alot more accurate compared to the ones on this video.
    she also had her 2nd solo live concert which has a free snipit featuring 3 songs being performed on her channel.
    there are also a bunch of free concerts featuring the other vtuber talents of the group hololive which suisei is part of, if you are interested.

    You pointed out artistic touches in the song I hadn't noticed until now, and helped me gain a whole new appreciation for it. Superb analysis and reaction video ❤

    There's a lot of great artists that fall under the HoloLive name (Suisei really is a powerhouse).
    I would suggest Gawr Gura's Reflect, Moona Hoshinova's High Tide, and Ninomae Ina'nis with Violet.

    Omg thank you so much for the reaction to Suisei! I really look up to her. There are a few fan-made documentaries about her journey (a really inspiring one, you'll love it).
    I hope you'll watch more of her content in the future, and also the other Hololive members' songs. They are all amazing.
    And also the male branch -- Holostars, they're insanely cracked on their own league as well (their songs are mainly on the pop/rock genres with a mix of other things, they have some metal singers as well, so I think you'll really love the Holostars) -- as well!
    I reccommend a collab cover Suisei did with a couple of the Holostars boys : Cinema. It's a banger cover.
    I hope you'll give all of them a listen.

    In Japan, they're not the biggest fans of vibrato. You'll hear very little of it from the majority of singers from Japan. With Suise you can absolutely tell she's holding it back, as do all the other Hololive members. Even with Japanese instruments, you'll hear very little, if any vibrato, with a few exceptions of course.

      That's what i like about their songs 😂 for some reason, j just can't like vibratos, especially when done in a sad song 😂
      I like it the way just like amazarashi does... Just pure voice, no vibratos, no stylistic tones...

    • @danika9411
      @danika9411 Год назад

      @@LanxPenzenpepper Vibrato is pure voice though. It's something that naturally happens if you have your throat relaxed and let your vocal coards swing freely without strain. You sing very relaxed with vibrato. You can surpress it by not letting your vocal chords swing free like that by adding a tiny bit of tension or closing the throat a bit.
      What I want to say is that vibrato is a natural occurance in the voice. You don't have to like it of course. Tastes are different.

    • @LanxPenzenpepper
      @LanxPenzenpepper Год назад

      @@danika9411 a lot of the songs i like are very calm and when vibratos did come, it feels natural...
      Most pop songs I hear, especially in local and western songs feel like they're always using vibratos which can be annoying when overdone... Yes i even hate our own local song 😂
      Dunno why but there are times when you know when a vibrato came naturally or just an effect...
      My theory is maybe, it's because japanese love using complex tones, that's why you don't notice their voice vibrating as much...
      But yeah, j just find their songs naturally ear pleasing.
      The very few english songs that i actually like are mostly country songs and blues...
      Also, this one particular band called Syd matters too...

    • @LanxPenzenpepper
      @LanxPenzenpepper Год назад +2

      @@danika9411 and no, I don't particularly hate hate it... It's just annoying because our country overdone it waaaayyy too much when covering western songs 😂
      Maybe, that contributed to my dislike of that certain tune 😂

    Glad you enjoyed Suisei. Stellar Stellar is a great song! The MV version has a more upbeat feeling to it so worth checking out on your own time or something. Her second appearance of TFT was also very well done. That being said it's really impressive she managed to get this spot. Didn't really expect TFT to break open to vtubers any time soon.
    If you're interested in checking out some of the other talents in Hololive lots of them do albums (or more) of music. My primary recommendation is usually Watame's "My Song" ( ruclips.net/video/6VGkeUaX-zk/видео.html ). There is also good stuff from Okayu, with dokuhai swallow for example ( ruclips.net/video/BNI2FBQQIag/видео.html ) and lots of the other girls.

    Suisei singing is kind of like someone coming at you with a fire axe and military-grade gear, but in a very pleasant way. I swear, that woman just ain't normal. In a good way, but she just isn't.
